Baena is the son of former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and his former housekeeper, Mildred Baena. Their secret affair came to light in 2011 when the news broke that the Terminator actor had sired a son with his family's long-serving housekeeper Mildred.
The news brought to an end Arnold's 25-year-old marriage to Maria Shriver. The renowned bodybuilder and Maria have four kids: Katherine, 30, Christina, 28, Patrick, 26, and Christopher, 22 who was born the same week as Mildred's son Joseph. Mildred had worked as a housekeeper in Arnold's home for 20 years and she retired in early 2011 the same year that her relationship with Arnold came to light. After the 2011 scandal, Arnold tried his best to create a good relationship with Joseph, and ever since, they have been close.
According to msn.com, Joseph graduated last year from Malibu's Pepperdine University with a degree in business and he does bodybuilding and acting just like his father. Joseph has been having a good relationship with his mom and on mother's day, he paid tribute to her by posting photos that he had taken with her on Instagram. He captioned the post telling his mom that he loves her and wished her and other moms a happy mother's day. He thanked mothers for being teachers, best friends, and protectors. He ended by telling them that they deserved the best on their special day. One of the photos featured Joseph with mom preparing a meal in the kitchen while the other one showed Joseph and his mom on his graduation day.
Arnold was present during Joseph's graduation. He posted a photo on Instagram of him and Joseph holding hands, and Joseph was wearing his graduation regalia. He captioned the post by congratulating Joseph for working hard for four years while studying business at the University. He said that he was proud of him and that he loves him.
