Country music star Kane Brown and wife Katelyn shocked fans on Dec. 31 when they took to Instagram to announce that Katelyn had given birth to their second child and second daughter at the end of the year. (They had not publicly announced her pregnancy.) "New year, New family member welcome to the family Kodi Jane secrets finally out," Kane captioned photos taken in the hospital after her birth, which happened on Dec. 30, People magazine confirmed. Kodi joins big sister Kingsley, who was born in 2019. On Jan. 1, 2022, Kane took to Instagram to share a family photo taken during Katelyn's second pregnancy. In the caption, he opened up about embracing being a girl dad, writing in part, "I've always wanted a son until I had Kingsley and now I'm good with all my girls."

Oscar winner Emma Stone and husband Dave McCary, a former segment director on "Saturday Night Live," welcomed their first child on March 13, TMZ reported. In May, the webloid revealed their little girl's name: Louise Jean. The couple have been incredibly private through their marriage and baby journey, never announcing their 2020 nuptials, the actress's pregnancy, nor their daughter's birth.

On Feb. 23, "This Is Us" star Mandy Moore and husband Taylor Goldsmith announced the arrival of their first child, a son. "Gus is here 💙💙💙💙. Our sweet boy, August Harrison Goldsmith. Olivia Munn and John Mulaney are now mom and dad. The duo quietly welcomed a son on Nov. 24 in Los Angeles, TMZ reported on Dec. 17. The couple shared photos of their little guy on social media on Christmas Eve along with his name: "My Golden Ox baby. Malcolm Hiệp Mulaney. Happy Holidays," Olivia captioned one adorable snapshot. Added John in a post of his own: "Meet Malcolm Hiệp Mulaney. He has his whole life ahead of him. He hasn't even tried seltzer yet. I'm very in love with him and his whole deal. Happy Holidays." This is the first child for Olivia and John, who went public as a couple earlier in the year.

Surprise! On May 18, supermodel Naomi Campbell took to Instagram to announce that she's now a first-time mom. "A beautiful little blessing has chosen me to be her mother," she began her post, which includes a photo of her hand cradling her baby's feet. "So honoured to have this gentle soul in my life there are no words to describe the lifelong bond that I now share with you my angel. There is no greater love."

Surprise! Less than six months after Hilaria Baldwin gave birth to her fifth child with actor Alec Baldwin, they are parents again. The news emerged on March 1 when Hilaria posted a photo on Instagram featuring the children the world already knew about — plus a newborn baby in the frame. A day later, Hilaria introduced their new daughter in another photo post, captioning it, "We are so in love with our daughter, Lucia. Just like your brothers and sisters, you are a dream come true." Since son Edu only arrived in September 2020, fans wondered how they welcomed another little one so quickly, and a day later, the answer emerged: Multiple outlets confirmed that Lucia was born via surrogate. "We are so overjoyed to finally meet our son," the music stars told People magazine in a statement. "He is already loved so much by family and friends and we can't wait to introduce him to his other siblings." The couple's daughter, Kulture, is 3. The Migos rapper is also a dad to three other kids — daughter Kalea, 6, and sons Kody, 6, and Jordan, 11 — from previous relationships.

She's here! "It is with great joy that Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, welcome their daughter, Lilibet 'Lili' Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, to the world. Lili was born on Friday, June 4 at 11:40 a.m. in the trusted care of the doctors and staff at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, CA," the royals announced in a statement on their Archewell Foundation website two days after their daughter's arrival. "She weighed 7 lbs 11 oz. Both mother and child are healthy and well, and settling in at home." They also confirmed the inspiration behind her name: "Lili is named after her great-grandmother, Her Majesty The Queen [Queen Elizabeth II], whose family nickname is Lilibet. Her middle name, Diana, was chosen to honor her beloved late grandmother, The Princess of Wales." The couple are also parents to son Archie, 2. He is seventh in line to the British throne while Lili is eighth.

Britain's Princess Beatrice and her husband, property developer Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, welcomed their first child on Sept. 18. "So delighted to share the news of the safe arrival of our daughter on Saturday 18th September 2021, at 23.42, at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London," she tweeted. "Thank you to the Midwife team and everyone at the hospital for their wonderful care." Beatrice's daughter is Queen Elizabeth II's 12th great-grandchild. The baby joins half-brother Christopher Woolf, Edo's son from a previous relationship.

Britain has a new royal baby! "Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie was safely delivered of a son today, 9th February 2021, at 8:55 a.m. at The Portland Hospital. [Her husband] Jack Brooksbank was present," Buckingham Palace said in a statement. "The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Duke of York, Sarah, Duchess of York, and Mr. and Mrs. George Brooksbank have been informed and are delighted with the news. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well." The couple shared the news on Instagram with a black-and-white photo of themselves holding their son's finger, which they captioned simply with three blue hearts. Eleven days later, they introduced their son in an official photo and shared his name publicly: August Philip Hawke Brooksbank.

Page Six reported that, according to friends, Amber turned to surrogacy after learning she wouldn't be able to carry a baby herself. But it took the couple — who also share daughter Kinsey Sioux, who was born in 2019 — seven weeks to settle on a name for their baby boy. While chatting with talk show host Ellen DeGeneres on Nov. 16, Kieran explained that they didn't know their baby's gender ahead of his birth. They'd "narrowed it down to two girl names that we really liked and we agreed that it's going to be one of those two girl names if it's a girl — and if it's a boy, we're screwed. And we had a boy and spent seven weeks arguing about names," the "Succession" star shared. They finally agreed on the moniker Wilder Wolf. "My wife wanted Wolf. The couple quietly welcomed their second child — and second son — earlier in 2021, the actress confirmed in an interview with The New York Times that hit the internet on Sept. 10. They named him James Robert. "This is the newest guy, the Big Kahuna," Kirsten, 39, quipped. "He's an angel, but he's a hungry angel. And a heavy angel." James weighed in at 18 pounds at 4 months old, according to the Times. Kirsten and the "Jungle Cruise" star are also parents to son Ennis, 3.

In an interview with People magazine that hit the internet on Sept. 8, the very private Oscar-winning Swedish actress — who's been spotted carrying a baby and pushing a stroller around Europe for months — finally publicly confirmed that she and husband Michael Fassbender, the two-time Academy Award nominee she married in 2017, welcomed their first child together earlier this year. "I now have a whole new understanding of life in general," she said of motherhood. "That's pretty beautiful, and obviously will give a lot to any of my work in the future."

Macaulay Culkin and his girlfriend of five years, actress Brenda Song, confirmed in mid-April that they welcomed a son on April 5 in Los Angeles. "We're overjoyed," the couple said in a statement to Esquire. They named their son Dakota Song Culkin after the "Home Alone" star's late sister who died in 2008 after being hit by a car. Esquire reported that the baby was 6 pounds, 14 ounces.

On Sept. 5, Danielle Fishel announced that she and husband Jensen Karp are parents again after welcoming their second son. "On 8/29/2021 we welcomed Keaton Joseph Karp to the world. Born at home 10/26/21. In awe of my girl @lindsayraehofmann. Awe," Scott captioned a slideshow of photos of himself with his newborn. Lindsay took to Instagram to share more pics and explain the inspiration for their baby girls' name, writing, "Pfeiffer, for her heart to always feel connected to the nature and sea & Lucia, to forever be our little 'light.'"

Surprise! On Oct. 24, "The Real World" star-turned-actress Jamie Chung and husband Bryan Greenberg revealed that they secretly welcomed twins! The "How to Make It in America" actor announced the exciting news on Instagram, captioning a video of himself cradling their babies on his chest, "We got double the trouble now @jamiejchung." The "Lovecraft Country" and "Big Hero Six" actress also shared the video on her Instagram Story. The couple had not previously revealed they were expecting.

Retired baseball star Derek Jeter and wife Hannah Davis Jeter, a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover model, have welcomed their third child. On Dec. 4, Derek's media company, The Players' Tribune, shared the news on social media, writing, "Congratulations Derek and @hannahbjeter on the birth of your baby girl, River Rose Jeter, born Thursday, Dec. 2."
