The former husband of American recording artist Christina Aguilera. I thought about nominating this article for AfD, as he only appears to be notable for his relationship with Aguilera, but after discovering he has a net worth of 15 million dollars, it's quite clear that's he's done something of importance to have a net worth of that much. This is the reason why I have decided to nominate this article for AfI (the first article to be nominated for AfI, might I add). Hopefully we can gather information and do improvements on the article, and if not, see to the article's deletion. Zac (talk) 06:13, 13 October 2012 (UTC)Reply[reply]

  • All the sources in the article are a bit crap. I know that this is usually the way with celebrities and the like, but we can probably do better than People Magazine, Us Weekly, About.com and a website that times out when I go to it. There's some good sources for the divorce: Telegraph.co.uk, BBC, CBS News. I'm actually slightly surprised that you think he's notable. Being rich doesn't make you notable either. Given he's divorced a celebrity, having $15 million doesn't necessarily mean he's done anything notable to get it: may just be the divorce settlement. I'm struggling to find sources that aren't about the relationship with Aguilera. —Tom Morris (talk) 21:08, 14 October 2012 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I'm on the fence of his notability. Aguilera actually got a pre-nup, so he wouldn't have gotten anything from the divorce. Given he's made so much money (and I realize making a lot of money doesn't make someone notable), he's bound to have done nothing major behind the scenes - but I don't know what. That's what we need to figure out. I've had not much luck either. Gonna have to try searching his name with the inclusion of known people he has worked with. Maybe something will come up for that, because his name alone just talks of their marriage / divorce. Zac (talk · contribs) 14:14, 15 October 2012 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Just found a few things about his career work: [1] [2] (this one is dead though, and I can't find a working version of it, but it dicusses his work). Zac (talk · contribs) 15:24, 15 October 2012 (UTC)Reply[reply]
