From 'Mad Men' to Madly In Love! Meet Jon Hamm’s Wife, Anna Osceola
After dating for three years, Jon Hamm and Anna Osceola tied the knot in summer 2023 at Anderson Canyon in Big Sur, where scenes from the Mad Men series finale were shot in 2015. According to TMZ, the star-studded affair was held on June 24 included guests Billy Crudup, Paul Rudd, Tina Fey, and, of course, Mad Men co-star John Slattery.
Hamm and Osceola started dating sometime in 2020 and reportedly got engaged in February of 2023. Although they'd kept their relationship relatively private, Hamm confirmed their engagement during an appearance on Club Random with Bill Maher a few weeks before the ceremony. "It has changed my life," Hamm said of their relationship. "I'm very happy. It's a wonderful thing."
In a September 2022 interview, Hamm told Howard Stern that he "very much" is in love with Osceola.
"I'm in a relationship right now and ... it's comfortable, it's a feeling of taking care of someone else and being taken care of," he said. Hamm explained that being open to the idea of potentially settling down took work, especially coming to terms with losing his mother when he was 10 years old.
"It's also been a process of working on myself, my mental health, all the stuff with my therapist. And unpacking all of that trauma and realizing that when you lose someone that's so important to you, like a mother, so early, that that creates a wound that blocks a lot of that emotional accessibility," Hamm said. "That blocks a lot of that availability and vulnerability.
"It's only been in the last couple of years, me kind of sitting down and really thinking about all that stuff, that's made the relationship that I'm in now even more meaningful and opened up the possibility of things like being married, having kids, defining a new version of happiness, life, wellness," he added. "It sounds hokey and whatever, but it's real and it's—for want of a better word—it's what I'm working for."

Hamm and Osceola got married in Anderson Canyon in Big Sur, on the same California cliffside where Hamm’s Don Draper came up with the idea for 1970’s “Hilltop” Coca-Cola advertisement in the series finale of Mad Men. The location has a special significance for the couple, as they met during the filming of that episode.

Before dating Osceola, Hamm was in an 18-year relationship with actress Jennifer Westfeldt. They dated from 1997 until their split in 2015. "We will continue to be supportive of each other in every way possible moving forward," they said in a joint statement at the time.
Prior to their breakup, Hamm had completed rehab for alcohol abuse, and he credited Westfeldt for her support through it all. The former couple starred together in the 2011 film Friends with Kids. As collaborators, they also produced the Netflix original limited series A Young Doctor’s Notebook.
