What travelers are saying
- Paul TBelair, Australia54 contributionsWell worth the effort. At the top there is an elevated viewing platform with (virtually) 360 degree views over the city, mountains, river and islands. Even better (for us) was a lovely 600 metre aerial walkway through the forest surrounding the peak. We walked up and back (about an hour each way) on the access road with forest on both sides, but there are buses if you would prefer. No cafes open when we visited, but there were toilet facilities. There are bars & restaurants at the beginning/end.Written February 17, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - siplebPittsburgh, PA147 contributionsThis is, without a doubt, the best attraction in Joinville. Family owned and operated garden located near the university campuses in the northern section of the city. Peaceful, beautiful gardens are well-maintained and updated regularly. Kids will love the small playground with water features and mini-obstacle course, not to mention feeding the koi in the fish pond. Older folks will appreciate the short, easy nature trail, as well as the café and garden shop, not to mention the beautiful landscaped botanical garden and chapel.
We have been Friends (members) of the Agrícola for several years now, and always enjoy coming here. The owners are a lovely couple that are always there and take an active role in the day-to-day operations. Joinville is very lucky to have such a special place to be enjoyed by the community.Written June 24, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Craig ARainford, UK68 contributionsWorth a walk up the hill but take some water with you as there is nothing at the top yet, and it is quite a hike in the heat. Development of facilities at the top is still in progress and not all open yet. There is a really good walkway around the top of the hill that has a platform giving great views out over joinville through gaps in the tree tops. There is anther platform under construction that will be even better. Then a walk back down, some more drinks and a stroll round the zoo finished off a good afternoons walk.Written January 29, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
