(READ) Trump to speak at Faith & Freedom event

Donald Trump is one of the most important political figures of the day and, arguably, the most important Republican in national politics. But many in the media have taken the historic step of censoring him. For that reason, one of our goals is to publish information about Trump that is otherwise difficult-to-find.

From the Trump campaign:

President Donald J. Trump to Deliver Remarks at Iowa Faith and Freedom Coalition’s 23rd Annual Spring Kick-Off

Mar-a-Lago, FL—President Donald J. Trump will address the Iowa Faith and Freedom Coalition’s Road to Victory Conference remotely on Saturday, April 22, 2023. Iowa Faith and Freedom Coalition is the state’s premiere faith-based organization that is committed to defending conservative values and religious liberty. President Trump has long supported the great patriots of Iowa and the Faith and Freedom Coalition, having first addressed the conference in September 2015. Last month, thousands of Iowans—representing 77 counties— packed the Adler Theater in Davenport to show their support for President Trump and support his 2024 campaign. Date and TimeSaturday, April 22, 2023

  1. Thank you to Sharyl Attkisson and site for constantly breaching the walls of media censorship and manufactured groupthink.

  2. “Great Patriots.” Seriously? Sharyl, Just report the basic facts and don’t give a blank check/space to politicians’ newsletters and press releases. The last time Mr. Trump visited this event in our state he declared that he didn’t have to ask for God’s forgiveness because of all the great secular things he had accomplished in his life.

I’m 62 and I remember when all media followed the Fairness Doctrine, which was dismantled in the mid 1980s that has allowed the explosion of misinformation in our society and world. You can do better!

    1. Phil Monson,

The conspiracy and control of information,
begun by Marxian Abe Lincoln & Company,
had been what this NYT editor meant/feared
      by his dire/revelatory/terrifying truth-telling
      speech :

      — “Jumping Jack Journalists” —

      A derogatory term I’ve borrowed
      from John Swinton’s truth-telling
      criticism of journalists—of his own
      newspaper and profession :

“There is no such thing, at this date in the world’s
history, in America, as an independent press . . . If
I allowed my honest opinions to appear in one
issue of my paper, before twenty-four hours my
occupation would be gone. The business of the
      journalists is to destroy the truth; to lie outright;
to pervert; to vilify; to fawn at the feet of mammon,
and to sell his country and his race for his daily
bread. You know it and I know it, and what folly is
this toasting an independent press? We are the
tools and vassals of rich men behind the scenes.
We are the jumping jacks; they pull the strings and
we dance. Our talents, our possibilities and our
lives are all the property of other men. We are
      intellectual prostitutes.” -John Swinton ( 1888 )

[[ Swinton was the former Chief-of-Staff
of the New York Times, speaking before
the New York Press Club—to toast an
      “independent” press. ]]
