John F. Cunningham passed away peacefully on June 17, 2021.

John was a beloved husband of Donna Larsen for 22 years.  A loyal brother to his sister Mary and her husband, Joe Leopoldi.  A loving and a wonderfully strong presence across his family; a wonderful son-in-law to Grace and Ronald Larsen, a fun loving brother-in-law to Karen and Chris Peet, Janis and Glenn Kenny & Gregory and Tanja Larsen; a Godfather/Uncle to Michael, his wife Erin and their children Johnny, Julianna, Mackenzie, and Emma.  Greatly loved Uncle to Thomas Leopoldi, Jenna & Joshua Peet; Kari, Scott & Charlie Larsen; Kayla & Julia Kenny, all of whom he was so proud of.  He was also the proud Godfather to Scott Larsen and Julia Kenny. Also "Uncle John" to so many more across 3 generations, each of whom he cared deeply for.

John was a friend to all. He will be greatly missed but remembered for his innate kindness, genuine love for others, incredibly quick wit, his love of laughter and immeasurable generosity.

In lieu of flowers, family kindly requests donations to the food pantry whose work and outreach to all was important to John:

Not sure what to say?

Sincere condolences to the Cunningham, Leopoldi and Larsen families on John’s passing. A lovely man. We have wonderful memories of his visit to Lisafooka in 1990 and again when we met in New York in 2003.
