POLICE have named a man and woman charged with stealing from Go Outdoors in Warrington.

The incident took place on Tuesday at the store on Wilson Pattern Street.

Now, police have charged the pair in connection with shoplifting offences.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: “John Conroy, 44, of Askew Street, Liverpool and Jay Roberts, 37, of Goodison Road, Liverpool were both arrested and subsequently charged with theft from a shop.

“They were both bailed to appear at Warrington Magistrates’ Court on April 5.”
