From a performance standpoint, some people just have it. The ‘X-factor’ if you want to call it that. They don’t need to go to school, they don’t need to be taught, the talent is already there. John Candy was one of those performers. Sure he was a comedian, but look at his acting chops. The guy could do it all. It’s hard to put into words exactly who we lost on this day 30 years ago, when Candy passed away due to a heart attack.
Fans of his know exactly what was lost. A generational talent, a genuine human being, and one of the funniest guys to ever grace the silver screen. We miss you, John.
