This book appears to have some type of liquid damage, possibly why it was pulled from library circulation. After books are withdrawn they are often donated or destroyed. I do realize this is a pretty old book, but just not sure with the possible moisture damage that it is of acceptable quality to be resold.

The PERFECT companion book to Bob Woodwards Wired. A totally different BUT (and this is important) NOT CONFLICTING point of view. This book (in the best way possible) is a true tear jerker. Her personal anecdotes, the high school love letters from John to Judy, her vivid post-death dreams of John... All really incredible. At times, I could only read a few pages at a time because I found myself just too emotionally involved. But I always came back to it. This woman is just so strong and a terrific role model for anyone going through any kind of loss in their lives. Not to mention, Judy is clearly a very, very gifted writer; the words on the page come off almost lyrical at times but at the same time descriptive, historically accurate and poignant .
I can't stress enough how much of a must read this is for not only any avid Belushi fans like myself, but for anyone going through a personal tragedy . It's important, immensely culturally significant and imperative to understand a side of John you'd never know otherwise. Bravo, Mrs. Judith Pisano. Bravo.

Read this when it came out in the summer of 1990. Loved it, profoundly moving and lovely. Gave it to my sister and ended up buying it a second time in the late '90's (Again... a tremendous read). Gave that copy to a friend. Bought a 3rd copy this past June, STILL an engaging and heartfelt read. What a Journey, Judy! Been at least 20 years since i've read it, and it still got under my skin. A Favorite. Think i'll keep this copy as it's getting harder to find. A Love story and so much more.

A painfully open & searching book that scales all time highs & lows in the lives of a couple who went from being high school sweethearts to Hollywood A-listers within a few short years.
The book shows us the effects good & bad that fame can have upon people & takes us on a journey of dark & light as Johns career scaled the lofty heights & the all time lows.
Judith writes in a real personable relatable manor which is very endearing to read & keeps you glued to the page from start to finish.
There are many insights from friends & family throughout & all in all the book is something that every Belushi fan should read as it tells us about the real John no punches pulled.
