STARKVILLE, MISSISSIPPI: 'American Idol' Season 22 contestant Jennifer Jeffries is a singer and songwriter who debuted her musical career at a young age.
Jennifer turned 17 on January 10 and is ready to make an appearance on the ABC show. She released her first original song, 'Love You from a Distance', in 2021 when she was just 15 years old.
She grew up in Starkville and currently resides with her father Keith Jeffries and mother, Sheila Oswalt Jeffries. She studied at a local school in her hometown. The 17-year-old was also on her high school's softball team.
