The Biden Administration Wednesday issued requests for 18 Trump appointees to step down from their positions on military academy boards.

Kellyanne Conway and Sean Spicer fired back.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki told reporters Wednesday that Biden asked various Trump appointees, including Conway and Spicer, to step down from the boards, per The Hill.

“I will let others evaluate whether they think Kellyanne Conway, Sean Spicer and others were qualified, or not political, to serve on this board,” Psaki said.

“But the president’s qualification requirements are not your party registration,” she added. “They are whether you are qualified to serve and whether you’re aligned with the values of this administration.”

Spicer was asked to resign from the board of the U.S. Naval Academy, but said on his Newsmax show that he would not be doing so.

“I will not be submitting my resignation,” he said. “Press secretaries never comment on the previous press secretary or the current one, and I’ve respected that. I haven’t responded to Jen or reacted to her, but she crossed a line today. She chose to bring me into this.”

“I won’t ever question how anyone chooses to serve this country. I won’t question how you choose to do that, Jen. But don’t you dare minimize or question my service to this nation,” he added. “You got it?”

Conway, a former White House counselor appointed to the Air Force Academy, also said she won’t be resigning.

“I’m not resigning, but you should,” she said in a tweet.
