Solanki Roy-Gourab Chatterjee starrer ‘Gaatchora’ tops the TRP charts

‘Gaatchora’ is back in action. The Bengali daily soap starring Solanki Roy and Gourab Chatterjee in the lead roles, has bagged the top spot on the TRP charts this week. Protagonist Khori and Riddhiman Singha Roy’s love-hate relationship has managed to woo the audience yet again.
Daily soap ‘Mithai’ is in second spot. The daily soap features Adrit Roy and Soumitrisha Kundoo as the lead pair. Mithai’s latest story revolves around Rocky, the rock star and his mystery.
Meanwhile, TV show ‘Dhulokona’, which was seen in the numero uno spot in the last week as well as in the previous one, has slipped down to third spot. The show has Manali Manisha Dey and Indrasish Roy as the lead pair. The crisis in Phuljhuri’s life and the drama around Lalan’s wedding, had helped the show score well in terms of TRPs in the last two weeks, reports suggest.
Television serial ‘Gouri Elo’ , which became a fodder for trolls, after it featured a ‘comic’ scene showcasing village belle Gouri worshipping the replica of Mona Lisa’s painting as a deity, has been scoring well on the TRP charts. The show is in fourth spot this time.
‘Alta Phoring’ is in fifth position this time. The story of gymnast Phoring and her struggling life has managed to strike a chord with the audience. The show has been scoring well since its launch.
Newly launched shows ‘Laal Kuthi’ and ‘Bouma Ekghor’ have scored decently in terms of TRPs in the first week. Though the shows are being aired at different time slots, but ‘Laal Kuthi’ has comparatively scored a bit better than ‘Bouma Ekghor’.
