The Real Alcazar is such a beatiful palace to visit. It seemed very similar to The Alhambra. There's just so much to see everything is beautiful. Don't miss the gardens. We took a little too much time inside and didn't have a lot of time to spend time at the gardens, but they are really beautiful. You can stroll around and watch the peacocks walking around. It's a must-see in Seville. Absolutely loved it.

We almost didnt stay to see it. The line was very long and didnt move very fast. But, once we got in, there was plenty of space. Its a beautiful old palace with alot of the different handmade tiles. The gardens were beautiful. It’s not nearly as opulent as the cathedral but it was worth seeing.

I was at this site last week. We reviewed information and was told to arrive by 9:00am to avoid long lines. We arrived and the line was all around the side of the building. There was lots of confusion about tour groups getting in and regular visitors without a tour pre-booked on where they should stand and where to go to get in, The staff was unorganized and rude. We waited for over 3 hours! After paying we were on our own. I didnt see any brochures or any opportunity to get a headset with some information on this building. This site needs a total new management. They need a better system. We have never had this problem with other tourist sites in Spain. Such a shame. It is a beautiful building. The word has to get out that all people need to pre book a tour. This should be known by everyone! Hotels, web-based forums, travel sites, etc. I felt like I lost 3 hours of valuable site seeing time waiting for this unorganized mess.

A very nice place inside the palace and in the gardens.
Nicest room: look in the map for 34 'bathroom', you can enter via the garden.
Extra booking: Real rooms: book early, we cojld not book tickets as there is a limit of 750 per day. For May I looked and if you like to go in the rooms you have to book at least 2 weeks before arrival!!!
Skip the line tickets: no need to book expensive special tickets on-line, but BUY YOUR TICKET ONLINE! ( if you buy at the place, a waitingline of about 200 meter....)
Nice architecture, good walking tour if you just follow the numbers on the free map. We saw every thing.
We spend abojt 3.5 hours here. 1.5 hours inside, 2 outside in garden.)
