Treasure Chest Collection Question

Anyone able to confirm if it's possible to get 100% Treasure Chest Collection in Player Info Database in your first playthough?

I'm sitting at 96% after my Claude run and I already 100% everything in challenges (so all post game done)

I was pretty meticulous but I figure it's possible there are some on Rena playthrough I can only get there?

Your treasure data doesn't carry over afaik and there shouldn't be any route exclusive chests. Did you fully explore the Salva Mines and Mountain Palace?

You're right...treasure data does not carry over, it warns you about it when you go to new game+

As far as I can tell, I fully explored Salva/Mountain Palace, I even double checked the Forest of Symbols. I imagine it's some random overworld chests that escaped me...

Well if nothing else, can revisit every town/dungeon after you unlock the ability to mark treasure chests on map, for towns every each building, for dungeons just go in and can see whole map (for those that have multiple levels obivously will have to go to each). That just leaves the overland ones with you just might have to do a few bunny/flight passovers to make sure you didnt miss any.

I just remembered I missed the chest in Eluria tower top floor that you have to go back for...but still at 96%. I think that means I'm missing like 13/14 chests...seems like a lot lol

MoT has upgrades for Celine/Ashton/Leon in chests, not sure how those are factored. I cleared the MoT in a Rena playthrough and outright did not see the Leon chest though. It's possible I missed it... I know that on PS1, the chest would be there but if you lacked the required party member, your character would just say they don't need it and move on.

I don't think I'll work on this 100% chest lol I'm at 93-94% IIRC but don"t want to examine every pixel of the world map...

I really don't know where I could've possibly missed a chest (looted both places that become inaccessible later). I'm starting to think the game does factor that Leon exclusive chest in MoT that was just missing because I don't have him.

Similar boat, except I don't have Ashton in my party. Was sitting at 99% at the end of the first playthrough. I suppose it's possible I missed a couple things on the world map. Is there a comprehensive guide to that yet? Even some of the YouTube world map chest guides people have passed around are missing one or two chests I've already found.

This, I imagine it might be fixed, but on PS1, those chests couldn't be opened without that character and did count towards 100%, so you needed Claude route and Celine, Ashton, and Leon to get 100%. I imagine it's different now.
