The apartment was really clean and location just amazing. As its so close to the Sagrada Familia you never got lost. Metro 2 minute walk. It was smaller than it looked on the photos and felt a bit cramped with 3 kids. There was only one sofa so once all 3 kids were on there us adults had nowhere comfortable to sit in the evenings. Dont get excited about the pool, its purely a splash pool to cool off in the summer. Roof terrace very nice and a good escape from the apartment. The building also had a gym which we enjoyed and laundry facilities All in all it was really good value for money when travelling as a family and really great location.

My husband and I stayed at Unit No 121 in May, booked through Enjoy BCN. I think they own several of the apartments in the building. This is a utilitarian place, quite small, clean, IKEA style furniture, two bedrooms with comfortable beds and nice linen, reasonably equipped kitchen for basic meals, dishwasher, good shower, laundry on the first floor. Nice neighborhood with pedestrian street below and small local restaurants and bars.. so fairly quiet. Best thing is the rooftop balcony with chaise longues and comfy sofas. You can sit up here in the evenings with your wine and snacks and enjoy an unparalleled view of the rooftops of Barcelona and the amazing edifice that is the Sagrada Familia. Very easy 2 minute walk to metro stop so you can always find your way home, only 5 minutes and about Euro6 taxi ride from city center. Fine for a few days if you don't want to stay in a hotel. No meals or service provided, Good for independent travelers.

In April, 2013, my husband and I made last minute reservations (2 days before) at the Sagrada Familia Apartment in downtown Barcelona. The pictures online were beautiful and it was described as recently redecorated. We were told to call when we arrived at the Barcelona airport, so someone would be waiting for us at the apartment. After calling and taking a taxi to the apartment, we waited almost 30 minutes for someone to show up. The storekeeper from the coffee shop downstairs tried calling on her personal cell phone. Finally, someone showed up. After flying from Washington, DC to Newark and waiting a couple of hours for a flight to Barcelona, we were, as you would imagine, very tired. We were shown into a very narrow, dark hallway with an elevator so small, only the rental agent and myself could fit in it. My husband walked the 2 flights of steps, carrying our luggage. When the agent opened the door to the apartment, the odor that greeted us was very foul, and I immediately mentioned this to her. She said she would bring an air purifier for us. The rooms looked nothing like the pictures we had seen. They were tiny, sparsely furnished, and worst of all very noisy because we were on the 2nd floor facing a very busy street. Since we were very tired we decided to take a nap which became impossible due to the street noise. My husband got out of the bed, which was a metal army-cot type, and had bug bites on his stomach and arms. The shower was full of mold and mildew. One of the two kitchen chairs had a broken leg, and I almost fell when I sat on it. I emailed the agent, told her this was unacceptable, that we were going to a hotel and she could charge us for one full night and refund the other five nights I had paid in full for. The agent wanted to move us to another one of their apartments, but we refused as we were afraid of what we would be staying in. We went to the Renaissance hotel which turned out to be perfect. After arguing back and forth on email about trying to get a refund and having our credit card company get involved, 7 months later I still never got a refund. I am a flight attendant for a major US carrier and have told so many of my co-workers and friends not to stay there. The BCN Apartment Rental company has lost a lot more than they would have had to repay me. I have travelled the world and have never had an experience like this. We not only lost money, we wasted an entire day in Barcelona due to the horrible accommodations and having to find another place to stay.

PLEASE NOTE WE STAYED IN THE ATTIC 3 2 bedroom corsiga 515 BIS (advertised on booking.com as penthouse!) We were met with many issues with this apartment. The aroma was unpleasant to start with when we entered. What we were shown on the photos were obviously taken a long time ago. The handles of everything were really loose, windows and patio doors. There were several health and safety issues with every room. Shower was hot for a few seconds then went really cold. The sofa bed stank and furniture was covered in stains. My heart honestly sank after the day we had travelling from madrid. The patio rail was insecure and the air conditioning machine leaked out on the patio. My son hit his head on the silver radiator on the bathroom with a huge bruise. DO NOT BOOK!!!

We booked this as a way of breaking up our return trip to the airport after port Aventura. We got a text on the day of arrival 'reminding' us to collect the keys from a boutique hotel somewhere - since we weren't due until 9pm and with young kids we could have done with knowing we'd need to travel half way round Barcelona for the keys...anyway we found the hotel and the receptionist started working out the additional charges - we hadn't been told about these on booking either - by the time we had paid them we could have booked into a 5 star hotel...I pointed out that we'd not been told about key collection or additional fees on booking through a reputable company and she read our reservation and then started tutting and saying these companies are told to put it on and don't...she phoned the manager and told him she had seen our confirmation and it definitely didn't mention the charges or keys but he said there was nothing he could do so we walked out and went back to Casa Gracia hostel where we'd stayed on our first night (read my review). So we can't say how good or bad the apartments are as we never even got to see them but BE WARNED additional (and not cheap) fees apply at this property and you will have to wander the length and breadth of Barcelona to pick up the keys! Im now locked in a dispute for refund via my credit card company.

I stayed at this B & B last week with my partner and was pleasantly surprised. We didn’t pay a great deal, so we didn’t really expect a great deal in return, and this modern, simple and very convenient inn turned out to be a nice surprise. We took a double economic room, which we were told in advance was smaller than a standard, but found it more than adequate for out needs. The room had clearly been cleaned shortly before our arrival and whilst it was basic, the bed was comfortable, and there was a small cupboard and a wardrobe plus a small balcony. The communal quarters had a modern dining area, an open plan kitchen and a nice comfy sofa, and everyone else we met was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a DIY job, but we rather liked having the freedom to lie in and suit ourselves. I liked the hip, unpretentious vibe at this B & B, and the location was perfect, and very central although dangerously close to too many alluring shoe shops if you ask me!

This was one of the more modern facilities that I have stayed in travels in Europe. The unit was comfortable and was only two blocks away from the La Sagrada Familia and a metro station. With that said there were issues with this apartment. 1. No place to hang more than one towel to dry. When you do not get daily service and there are three or more occupants, this proposes a problem. 2. Bathroom fan was not adequate. 3. Lightening in the bathroom was not adequate. Not enough light for putting on makeup and doing hair. The space where the light should have been installed was filled in with a board and painted. 4. The blanket/comforter for the sofa bed was just plain filthy. By the time we made that bed it was past office hours and therefore we had to use the dirty blanket and had to call the office during open hours to request a clean one. 5. Sofa bed mattress was also filthy and no mattress cover – a major yuck! 6. Although, listed on the website, no coffee in room. Had to call the office to get one. 7. Only 5 hangers provided for a room to accommodate 4. 8. Washer/dryer and thermostat. No instructions provided in any language. Neither were intuitive. 9. Some of the electrical outlets were nonfunctional. 10. No phone in room so all calls had to be made using cell phone on roaming rates. 11. Office was on the other side of town. Our check out was at 1100, but our flight was not until 1800. The only way to secure luggage was to take it across town to the office. This is very inconvenient with no transportation other than the metro or a cab. 12. Requirement to remove trash from cans seems somewhat unreasonable. 13. View was of the busy Avenue Diagonal with lots of street noise until midnight each night.

I haven't got there yet and I am already having loads of problems! It's so hard to reach them! For 3 days I kept calling and e-mailed and no answer. They said my card details and wrong and then they charged me without getting a confirmation! This is the 4th day and finally someone answered asking for my booking number, she said she will come back to me in 10 min. I have called her 20 times, the whole day and no answer! They have an 'emergency' telephone number, no answer! My biggest mistake was to think about booking this place! Avoid Avoid Avoid!!!!!

Comfortable place with enough basic utensils to cook simple meals. Staff are friendly and helpful in advising forms of transport and places to visit. An adequate map of Barcelona can be obtained from the counter and questions are entertained. Apartment has a double bedroom, lounge room, including a table and 2 chairs and air conditioner, kitchen with fridge and basic amenities and separate toilet and shower. Decor and furnishing are satisfactory. Location is proximate to Sagrada Familia (5 minutes walk), metro Verdaguer, and bus services, minimarts, cafes and restaurants, as well as to Arc de Triomf, Parc de la Ciutadella and zoo. In fact, within 30-45 minutes walk, one can cover quite a bit of the major tourist sites in Barcelona, such as La Rambla. It's relatively quiet after dark and safe too.

Hi This was the message I received from them when I had visited them last. You may try this number. They speak fluent English and easy to communicate. As we do not have reception we please ask you to call us (0034 672347900) as soon as you land in Barcelona airport so we can arrange the check in (or 30 minutes before you arrive). Could you please tell us also the approximate arrival time? See you soon! There was one set of towels per person (hand towel and bath towel). Some units had a washing machine while ours did not.
