i was looking to go for a 2 week trip to the Dominican Republic and realised that the most popular and best deal for flights are to Punta Cana. I have tried to look up to get some real travellers information on Punta Cana and finding it a little difficult. I am worried that it is maybe a little touristy and packed out with people. Is it a nice place to go? Any help would be much appreciated
Punta Cana is defined by its AI resorts. What defines nice is quite subjective. The satellite view in google maps would give you a good impression of what the area is like and the distribution of facilities.
What is you idea of vacation? Punta Cana is all about all inclusive resorts. Great beach, but can have seaweed issues.
If that’s what you like, it’s good.
If you like adventure and adrenaline. You can do excursions at an extra cost. If you like history and culture, Punta Cana is not what you’d like.
You need to tell us a little more. There are over 100 all inclusive resorts in Punta Cana.

Punta Cana is a very busy resort destination. Be sure to pick the right resort for your needs. Don’t go to Be Live Collection. Had a terrible experience!
Bomb- that link you provided us a little out dated. 3 of the 10 resorts on the first page have changed names, one of them has changed twice.
It’s amazing how often management of these resorts changes.
