We booked a stay in Blackpool with another B&B in the area but they cancelled on us last minute so we got relocated to the Holmeleigh I’m so glad we did! The place was absolutely spotlessly clean I’ve never seen a shower room so sparkly clean usually unless I’ve cleaned it myself ( I’m a cleaner by trade ) the room was cozy and comfortable even a built in wardrobe with plenty of space for hanging everything we needed to hand and somewhere to store the cases so we wernt tripping over them like when I usually stay other places. Breakfast was delicious and just what we needed to start our days. The staff were super friendly and helpful from check in to check out and couldn’t do enough for you we even got asked if we needed anything else to make our stay more comfortable several times whilst there if we needed clean towels extra toiletries offered to empty the bins for us everything. The bed was the comfiest bed I’ve slept on in any establishment a lush memory foam mattress and the pillows were nice and plump overall a good stay will definitely be staying again! Thanks for a lovely stay to all the staff at Holmeleigh :)

We stayed here for 2 nights as a treat for the children before going back to school, although a little dated the rooms were clean and comfortable, with tea and coffee facilities. Wendy the host was lovely, very friendly. There is a car park round the back although you access it through a very tight driveway/alley so the smaller the car the better!
The bar area is a bonus as we spent time in here rather than the room, prices were reasonable. Breakfast was lovely, with cereals fruit and toast and then a full English, the children were offered sausage, egg and beans. Location wise the Homeleigh is perfect, a stones throw from the pleasurebeach, sandcastle and south pier, casino etc.

Spent two nights b+b hear recently. Wendy is a lovely host who makes you feel welcome and at ease especially in the current climate. The hotel is nice and clean, the breakfast is lovely. Our room was a tad small and the bed was a little hard for my partner. However these are personal views and doesn't take away the fact that the hotel offers very good value for money.

We arrived early and were very pleased to find we were allowed into the room and given a parking permit to use on the street. This was very helpful.
We had a family room with a double bed and bunk beds. It was very cramped with just enough space to move between the beds. There was hanging space for 8 items of clothing and 1 very small drawer in a bedside cabinet. Not ideal for 4 people. I think it would be more suitable as a double, then maybe a small set of drawers could be incorporated. On the plus side it was clean. There was no point mentioning this at the time as the hotel was full.
There was also an issue regarding breakfast. It seems children are not allocated any bacon. I didn't expect a full size breakfast, but a smaller version of what we had, after all it's not as though they stayed for free, (otherwise we would have just paid the rate for a double room). The first morning some bacon was provided part way through the meal, but this was not possible on the second morning so I had to give him mine. It was a shame as the breakfast was very nicely cooked, and could have been so much improved for the sake of an extra slice of bacon.

Great weekend stay at the hotel. Wendy is a good host, very friendly. The hotel in a great location. A 3 minute walk to the Pleasure Beach. You can see the casino from the front door on the prom. Car park was located at the back of the hotel. Upon entering the hotel you could smell how clean and fresh it was. Room for a handful of cars. We parked there absolutely fine. Wendy also let us park there after we checked out so we could spend our last day in Blackpool which was really nice. We stayed in room 10, very cosy snug room with small bathroom. It was ok for us two for two nights, the bed was comfortable and we slept like a log. Didn’t hear any external noise what so ever being so close to the front. Breakfast was served early until 9, cereal and full English on offer. Wendy catered for me wanting vegetarian sausages which was great! Overall, a really good stay. Would stay again.

Booked a 2 night tues/wed stay after recommendation from my father paid £70 for a solo room but Wendy upgraded me to the room next to my father at no extra charge. (Thank you) also helped me out by allowing me to use the hotels free rear parking (limited spaces) at no extra expense. Room (ensuite) was fully equipped and very clean modern and tidy. Good location friendly staff very modern + clean so definitely would stay again. They also do full breakfast I didn't have this as I'm not a massive breakfast fan but my father did and he says it absolutely spot on.

The Holmeleigh was really clean but a little dated. Wendy the host is very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the room was just too small to be comfortable and the shower and toilet in the ensuite were small to. Parking is available on site which is good but be prepared for the car shuffle to try and get yours out.

What a little gem this place is. Could not be better located.
Firstly the whole place is spotless and I mean spotless not a spec of dust, scuff mark on a wall anywhere. Our rooms were up on the third floor and were absolutely fine. The twin especially was a great size.

Breakfast was great. Good produce and cooked to order.

Location was 5 mins walk to Pleasure Beach, 2 mins to south pier and 1.5 mins to arcades and pubs! Despite this as on a side street was really quiet!

All round a perfect base to our mini break!

Ideally placed for the Pleasure beach and sandcastle water park - seconds walk from the seafront,

We came as a family of three, room was small but adequate as a base to explore. Landlady was friendly and helpful - free parking to the rear was also ideal as the on street parking was permit only.

Good value for money and would stay again.

Have stayed here before multiple times with family. We stayed for a weekend recently and could not fault the place at all.

Always had a lovely time. Breakfast is great, rooms are very well cleaned and maintained. Wendy and staff are always accommodating and friendly and always go above and beyond.

For those that complain about the parking we have previously brought 17 people on a single Transit minibus which was able to be parked on the rear car park with other vehicles parked as well and recently brought a MINI Countryman into the car park as well so not sure what the issue is.

As my wife was a disabled guest nothing was too much to ask and I found that Wendy was very helpful and allowed my wife to keep her mobility scooter in the bar area.

Whenever we want to go to Blackpool the first port of call is always the Holmeleigh Hotel. Would have booked here for the illuminations but was fully booked which says a lot about the place.

Would highly recommend and will be coming here again.

Hi John, that's extremely judgemental of you to pass comment like that. Just to confirm the manager made no reference to a refund and the service at the hotel was at a very poor standard. Now that the manager has referred to a refund I will gladly accept due to the poor quality of service. #whypayforpoorservice.

"Just be mindful that if you have a large car you might struggle to get In and out of the car park as the path into the carpark is very narrow, the car park is small at the back."
