I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry is a humorous movie featuring Adam Sandler. Some critics may not appreciate this film due to Sandler's unique sense of humor. However, I find it enjoyable. The story revolves around two firemen who pretend to be gay in order to receive benefits for one of them, Larry, who needs support for his children. The plot is somewhat intriguing. While I am not usually a fan of gay jokes, I make an exception when Sandler is the main character and the movie has a similar storyline. The acting is decent overall. Surprisingly, Ving Rhames made me laugh the most with his portrayal of a fireman who appears as if he could go on a killing spree. Additionally, Dan Aykroyd was hilarious, as were the rest of the cast members.

While it's very easy to eviscerate Chuck and Larry from an activist point of view, all one really has to do to slam the flick is look at the lazy, contrived writing and the traffic-cop direction by frequent Sandler accomplice Dennis Dugan.
