Gummibär arguing with Alan, The Yummy Gummy Search for Santa

Gummibär is the titular main character of all Gummibär media. The character was created by Christian Schneider and designed by Peter Dodd.[2]

His singing voice is done by Maci Schneider, while in The Yummy Gummy Search For Santa he was voiced by Sonja Ball, and in Gummibär & Friends he was and is still voiced by Philipa Alexander.

Appearance[]

Gummibär is a small, obese, anthropomorphic green gummy bear with a large black nose, and thin dark brown eyebrows.

He has two large eyes, with blue pupils usually depicted as having varying sizes from each other. His right ear appears bitten.

His muzzle is light green and appears to be made out of carpet, appearing sugar-coated in Peter Dodd's initial design. The inside of his mouth is dark green and his tongue is dark green also.

He wears a orange Y-front underwear, and white sports shoes with a orange stripe on them, the often colours vary for special occasions.

Personality[]

Gummibär is an outgoing, happy and energetic bear who loves to sing and dance.

He also loves to make people smile, for example in the episode "Crack a Smile" from Gummibär & Friends, he tries to make Fred the statue smile by singing a song about cracking a smile.

He can sometimes be silly and unintelligent in the series. Like in the episode "Macaroni Plant", where he thinks he can grow a macaroni plant.

He also likes to shake his rear-end that can barely fit in his tight underwear possibly to make the viewer laugh, like in The Gummy Bear Song and Nuki Nuki.
