Hugh Jackman became famous shortly after the beginning of his career in 1994. He was born in Sydney, Australia to English parents who came in the country as part of the “Ten Pound Poms” immigration. Because of this, Jackman holds dual citizenship – Australian for being born in the country and English by virtue since he’s born to UK parents. After graduating from the Pymble Public School, the aspiring actor studied at the University of Technology in Sydney.
In 1991, he graduated with BA in Communications. During both his time at school and university, Jackman took part in plays and operas like The Fair Lady, and The Memorandum, which is when he became interested in acting.
After he found his passion in his early years, Hugh began pursuing an acting career in the early 1990s.
