Watch Hugh Grant sing his Oompa-Loompa song in the wild new Wonka trailer

He also has a special mechanical bed chair to sleep in — when he isn't being bothered by the charismatic chocolatier.

The first Wonka trailer ended with a taste of Hugh Grant's Oompa Loompa song. And now we're getting a little more of the little orange man's crooning.

Just don't call him a "little man" to his face, as Timothée Chalamet's Willy Wonka does at the start of the movie's new trailer.

"How dare you! I will have you know that I am a perfectly respectable size for an Oompa Loompa," Grant retorts.

Wonka sees Grant reunited with director Paul King, who invoked one of the actor's best-ever performances (by his own estimation) in Paddington 2. As seen in the trailer, Wonka will include dazzling visual set pieces similar to the ones King deployed in his two Paddington movies, such as the complex, Rube Goldberg–like trap Wonka uses to imprison the Oompa Loompa in a glass bottle and the mechanical sleep chair the orange man uses.

Wonka is the origin story of the charismatic chocolatier at the center of Roald Dahl's iconic children's novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Willy Wonka has previously been portrayed on screen by Gene Wilder and Johnny Depp, but Chalamet's incarnation is younger — still trying to make it in the world as a creator of delicious treats.

The new trailer also reveals that Chalamet's Wonka has a decidedly democratic approach to making his candy. It will be affordable to all — something the established candy purveyors do not appreciate. Hence why we see Keegan-Michael Key's police chief waterboarding the young upstart and warning him, "Do not sell chocolate in this town!"

Wonka hits theaters Dec. 15. Watch the latest trailer for it above.
