Seating chart

Sydmxo11, on March 13, 2024 at 8:03 PM Posted in Planning 0 6
Is there any digital websites or any recommendations on how to easily organize a seating chart where I can move people around easily if needed? I saw the poster board & sticky note idea but wasn’t a fan of that idea. Any suggestions help. Thank you in advance

I've been using the one on WeddingWire and really like it. Super easy to move people around and change table sizes.

I printed out mini tables from google pictures and took butcher paper and laid them out with color tabs.. I color coded my fiancé's friends with one color, his family in another, mine, and my friend group separately. The color tabs were nice because I was able to just pick up and move people wherever I needed to! Once I had a rough sketch, I typed them in a Google spreadsheet with their numbers.

The color coding was a nice visual and honestly, it was kind of fun to have a print version to play around with!

I’m just using an excel spreadsheet. I’ve created the “room” in excel by simply having a list of each person at the table I anticipate them sitting at and then move it around as needed. Thankfully with excel you can make the document as large as you need it to be in either direction so you can still sort of see the seating arraignment your room requires.
