It was raining in Niagara Falls, we weren't sure what to do, but I am glad we went to the bird kingdom. The building that now houses the famous aviary started as a corset factory. Lovely staff, purchased some wall art at the gift shop. Birds were varied, some close encounters.
We really enjoyed this place! There was lots to do and see. There was also no tourist tax which was nice. As well lunch in the cafe was extremely reasonable.
My family of four visited this place for the second time. It only takes 1-2 hours to make your way through the place so it would be best if you could find a coupon to save on the admission price. Otherwise, the entry fee is a bit steep for what there is to do.
Feeding the lorikeets was fun for the kids. The gift shop on the way out carries some lovely merchandise. I purchased two pieces of artwork that were unlike anything I had seen before.
Overall, a fun place to spend some time.
Bird Kingdom bills itself as the Worlds largest bird aviary and certainly there are many birds to see flying free. They have paths in the main area where you can get up close with the birds. There are other sections with various reptiles and some more birds to look at. It is a nice attraction and worth a visit if in the area.
We had loads of fun in there.
Too many birds for the kids had great time. Surely recommend this to everyone
Fun place to visit the bird community and a great way to see species one otherwise wouldn’t.
A fun way to spend a half day!
