Our server Tammy was friendly but lacked knowledge. I have a dairy allergy and assumed for this price point there would be good knowledge/safety for allergies and options. The steaks were good, but options were very limited, because of this I had a dry baked...potato with bacon and green onions which cost 12$, was not offered oil or anything else for the potato. Service was slow and we were there almost 2hrs. Because of the lack of knowledge the server had to keep asking the kitchen etc and because she was busy she did this after helping everyone else so the wait was ridiculous. We were brought bread with butter, and she dropped it off and left so fast we couldnt clarify if it contained dairy or not. When she returned we asked and she said "oh, it's that particular?". Overall the food was good, Tammy was nice but the service and overall experience was very disappointing considering the price and expectation. Next time we will stick to the keg, they never disappoint and have great knowledge, options and are always accommodating in a very timely manner. But the view was great.More

My son and I went here to celebrate some recent milestones. The waiter was pushy. We are trying to eat healthy and just wanted salad and steak and he kept pressing us to order more. We don’t drink and his disappointment we only ordered water...was evident. Our food came and the salad was the ends and remnants and some of the lettuce was brown. The dressing was tasty. Our steaks came and they were both overdone. The first half of my steak was well done no pink and I ordered medium. My son ordered rare and his was medium. We told the manager and he offered us free dessert. We already told them we were eating healthy so we declined. Then the waiter brought us complimentary ice wine after we already said we do not drink. The hotel gave us a coupon to use but we weren’t allowed to pay in the restaurant we had to charge it to our room and then the waiter kept asking us what our room number was because he was putting it under the wrong hotel. Sorry to say this dinner was not anywhere near worth the $180 we paid including tip. On a side note we also had to hear the three waitstaff talking at the serve station about how their tables had certain amounts on their bill and left poor tips. Wow! Not classy at all. Good view, good service, nice steak and scallops. So disappointing no acknowledgement of our 35th wedding anniversary. Guess we should have went elsewhere. When you spend $250-300 on a meal it would have been nice to have a dessert or coffee on the house. Very...Clean and covid rules followed.More

My wife and myself celebrated our anniversary with a little Niagara getaway and based on all of the great reviews decided to have dinner at the Prime Steakhouse. In summary the view and service were everything that was advertised but the meal under delivered. My...wife’s pasta dish was very good and plentiful and that served us well because my 10 ounce Angus fillet under delivered. The fillet was ordered medium rare and was delivered medium. Besides being over cooked the internal gristle didn’t add to the experience. Cold toppings piled onto a hot baked potato didn’t work, maybe try and warm up the cheese and bacon before adding the sour cream. In summary we took most of the fillet home for our dog to eat, she seemed to enjoy it. We filled up on the pasta which in an alleged high end steakhouse shouldn’t be necessary. I don’t mind paying high end prices for an over all great experience but this was just OK and OK is a fast food expectation.More

My husband and I celebrated our Anniversary in Niagara Falls this past weekend and dined at Prime Steakhouse for our first time. I must say we were absolutely delighted with our experience. We had an incredible server named Patrick. He was very friendly, professional and...gave excellent menu recommendations. Above all, he gave us everything we needed without hovering and a really nice surprise complimentary dessert which we loved!!! The food came out perfectly cooked and perfectly timed. We felt taken care of and not rushed and we are definitely not restaurant campers. I worked in the service industry for 15 years so I appreciate the value of good service and good food. The menu prices are elevated, however, this is expected when you're dining in the falls, but you cannot beat the view!!! This restaurant is a definite MUST try! You will not be disappointed.More

This is a very expensive restaurant. Food without a doubt is excellent; pork belly very tender. Lamb was delicious. Steaks done to perfection. Sides are very expensive and can easily be shared by 2 people. We paid $13 for a baked potato that could have...served 2 people. Desserts were not so good very normal. Drinks are very, very expensive but you have a beautiful view and service is very good. Check your bill because they charge an L.F. (Local Fee) which can be removed and is just another tax. If you are a local resident be sure to have your parking ticket stamped to get free parking. Also because we are fussy we found the music (jazz) too loud and asked for it to be turned down. Also beware if you go close to sundown as there are no blinds on windows and setting sun can be very annoying in your eyes.More

First of all the steak was on point, well seasoned! New Yorker here is tired of salt and pepper only! But here at Prime Steakhouse, May not be a franchise of Prime in Huntington NewYork, but the menu is equally savory but top it up...a notch with a very generous portion, give greater value to a dollar. Tammy our server is very pleasant, right on time and generous with her smile! This restaurant is located at the Crowne Plaza Niagara Hotel, 10th floor, historic hotel, maybe dated but rich in history. A frequent notable guests was nothing less than Marilyn Monroe , Walt Disney, Shirley Temple, Queen Elizabeth to name a few, so if you see a Brad Pitt at the Bar, it must really be Brad Pitt! So enjoy you sumptuous meal & niagara Falls view with a touch of authentic Canadian flair a few steps from rainbow bridge! Oh by the way the ice wine foie gras terrine melts in your mouth!More

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza Niagara Falls for a weekend of fun. For dinner my partner and I decided to visit Prime Steakhouse in the hotel. We were seated at the window which had a beautiful view of Niagara Falls. The restaurant was cozy...and had a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. We ordered the Carbonara and Mushroom Ravioli which were both excellent. Our server Patrick was very attentive and made an excellent dessert recommendation in the coconut mango creme brule, which we paired with a great ice wine. The manager Arik was also checking with guests and made sure everything was great. I would recommend this restaurant for those looking for a nice dinner in Niagara. We went here for our 1st Anniversary as we were married on Feb 29th 2016. So 4 years married but 1st anniversary. Tammy served us and was very helpful even bringing us ginger ale in flutes because I cannot have alcohol to celebrate. The steaks...were amazing, especially with the bacon onion Marmalade. We thought we’d try Prime on this recent visit to the Falls, and it was such a good choice ! We had the Caesar Salad and Pork Belly to start, a great bottle of Malivoire wine and bread was provided. We shared a Striploin steak...and shrimp, and had the sprouts, onion rings and green beans as sides. It was absolutely delicious !! We finished with the 10 layer chocolate cake and some boozy coffee. What a wonderful experience with our insanely talented host/server named Patrick, who took the time to chat with us and made ah effort to get to know us. He was spot on with his service and timing - we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Yes it’s expensive, but definitely treat yourself at least once to check this place out. We weren’t sure what to expect by way of price range but this is a higher-end priced steakhouse. Everything is à la carte. The waiter was lovely and very helpful. He offered to take our picture for us and made recommendations based on likes/dislikes. The...steak was done exactly the way we asked. It was very tasty as were our sides. We were disappointed to be seated so far back from the falls (some tables seemed to be right in front of the falls while others were at the end of the falls. I know they can’t put us all in one spot but there seemed to be available tables with nicer views). The room was dark to create ambiance, however, I would prefer a bit more light. They did not provide us with steak knives to eat our steak which I found odd as it was difficult to cut into my steak. All staff follow pandemic protocol - wore masks and kept their distance. It was steakhouse with a view. We loved our waiter but I wouldn’t say it exceeded expectations in terms of meals and options.More

My girlfriend and I returned for the second year in a row to the Prime Steakhouse for our 6th anniversary. Overall the atmosphere was great with amazing views of the falls (lived here all my life and still love the view). Our food was cooked...well and the price was absolutely fantastic for the portions we got. I had a Caesar salad to start made with real bacon and made as a double portion. For an entree I had a Short Rib, supposed to be 8 oz but came out a larger portion than expected, the potatoes and buttered asparagus were all cooked fabulously. For dessert I had cheesecake in a jar which was just tasted amazing. My girlfriend had the USDA steak and said it was the best steak she's had. The service was fantastic, our waitresses name was Carlee and coincidently was the second year in a row having her. She checked up on us regularly to make sure everything was ok and topped up our water everytime we were just about to finish our glasses. Even upon leaving every single employee wished us a good night and hoping for our return. I was extremely happy with our visit and will definitely be returning next year for our anniversary!More
