Enjoyable stay here again. Rooms are unique, comfy and clean.
At night they have a wine tasting from 4-6 pm and last night they had a surprise guest US recording Artist Whitney Wolanin who announced she was staying there who sat down at the piano and entertained the hotel guests. What a voice that young lady has! She was also entertaining as well. I looked her up online and she has had a number of Billboard Hits including 2 Top 5 Hits. Great time.

Hotels like Aria are a rare find today.

Dear DoctorVonCueBall,

We are happy that our service could meet your expectations – your review is much appreciated. I am personally delighted that you value our musically embroidered vibe you can feel in the entire hotel. You never know which one of your favorite musicians is coming across in our Music Garden courtyard lobby.
It is inevitable to meet our great signature pianist, Kasai as well: he is regularly playing on our mesmerizing designer piano during the Wine & Cheese reception almost every day. Also, László Pecek, our other experienced musician is accompanying his guest singers every weekend – all singing your favorite tunes from the '70-s, '80-s and the '90-s until the most current hits.

I wish you peace and joy for the upcoming festive season and a prosperous New Year - that eventually includes a returning visit to Budapest.

Just had one of our best citytrips in Budapest and the Aria hotel was one of the reasons why we had such a nice time.

Very autentic hotel, lovely food, rooms have all the facilities you need (extra smartphone, ipad, media centre,.. )

But the most wonderfull thing of this hotel is its staff. Always kind and helpfull. For food options, cab arrangement, general information,.. amazing.

We would recommend this hotel to everybody who want a nice stay with a personal touch and no worries!

Dear FaustineHhof,

Thank you so much for the review. We put an extra heartfelt input to our striving to provide the best of what our city can give especially right now during the festive season.
We are happy that our efforts could meet your expectations. Please do consider visiting back sometime – the spring is especially nice and lively with the cultural festivals literally occupying all the streets and venues and clubs.
You can contact me personally if you need assistance in planning your concert calendar for your returning.

We are currently at the Aria Hotel, in our second night. The first night we were assigned the Pavarotti room in the opera wing. Tons of light from a bank of windows and skylights that covered a third of the ceiling space, with remote control blackout shades. Not our favorite style of room, as it was decorated in lots of purple with yellow onyx walls in the bathroom. This bathroom was not separated from the bedroom and so there were two enclosures, one for shower, one for toilet that were airtight and stuffy. If you opened either the shower or the toilet door, you could not get through the vanity area to be at the sink. Also, the shower leaked onto the floor and carpeting and that made a mess and there was not one towel bar or hook in the whole room. When I casually mentioned to one of the friendly young staff members in the lobby that some hooks and towel bars would be helpful, he immediately relayed the information to the manager and we were approached by the management and offered a different room. We accepted as it had a much more subdued color scheme in the classical wing, room 506, and a large bathroom with a separate shower/tub and glass walls that did not reach the ceiling, Although it faces the main pedestrian street, it is very quiet with the windows closed and there is a terrace that would be delightful in summer.

All the rooms have iPads to use in the hotel as well as a free cellphone to use anywhere in the city, programmed with the hotel's phone number and address in case you get lost. Tons of plugs in the room to charge devices, a great Nespresso machine, a big TV programmed with every possible type of music and movies, too, in several languages. What we really appreciated right away was the service orientation and friendliness of the staff. They were without exception young and energetic and happy to help with any request. Everyone speaks English, too, which is so appreciated. There is a small exercise room, a hot tub, pool, separate mens' and women's locker areas, steam room, and sauna on the premises that are very popular. A spa is also on the premises with some great options for pampering, but we did not use those services.

The lobby, library and adjoining bars and restaurant areas are very pretty and offer many options for relaxing.. Breakfast was excellent and wine and cheese in the afternoon a lovely surprise, with live music. The rooftop bar offers a great view of the city although admittedly this would be more of a draw in the warmer months.

All in all, we are enjoying the new room and loving the hotel. We met the owner/builder and he was friendly and enthusiastic as he introduced himself to people in the lobby. Pretty fun to meet him and hear how he built the hotel and what he has done to differentiate the Aria from other establishments in the city.

Great stay and we look forward to continuing to enjoy the hotel for another few days. Thanks for making us two very happy guests!

Dear Kipellen51,

Thank you for the extensive review.
The taste is in the eye of the beholder, and that is the reason we have four different wings with significantly different room interior inspired by different music genres so that everyone can find his or her favorite. I am delighted to learn we could instantly rectify your notices and you had an all in all pleasant guest experience.
The special atmosphere in our Harmony Spa and the High Note SkyBar are one of a kind in our city, worth discovering for all travelers. And now that the winter festive season is here, we are waiting for the first piles of snow out in the terrace with our heated bar and pavilion and a special cocktail and bar food menu offered for a lovely Christmas experience above the city.
Spending the afternoon in our year-round roof top garden is one of the best way to end your exciting day in Budapest anyway.

Our owner, Mr Henry Kallan is indeed full of hospitable spirit we learn every time he is here with us - I am pleased you could also experience his unique personality.

I hope we can meet you again in another season with another face of the hotel and welcome you in the elite club of the returning Aria guests.

This is a very good hotel. All very clean and stylish. Not really my style but yet I can appreciate high quality. One thing no one will argue is that the location is superb. The service is excellent. Worth the price. Very recommended .
