Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It is amazing! Unbelievable, how long it was hidden under our feet and how many almost intact and valuable things were found. I would recommend it to everyone visiting Prague. It is just WOW!

It’s a great place to sit back and enjoy some great beers. The food was also good. Nothing compared to the beers though.

Good, friendly service and very reasonable prices!

We saw the most stunning and delightful Cinderella ballet during our visit to Prague including the amazing orchestra. We cried and LOL’d! It was so affordable and absolutely brilliant, definitely see a performance in this magnificent place.

Obviously this museum is not aimed at the (European) History teachers.
I'm a 61 years old Frenchman and I 'm interested in this period of History, so nothing new for me, but I found this museum well made and can be an eye opener for the youngest generations.
It worth a visit if you stay a minimum of three days in Prague.
The only drawback is the price of the entry.

Easily the highlight of our trip to Prague. The version of Cosi Fan Tutte we saw was with modern costumes but the music and singing were lovely. And of course the building is amazing. A thrilling experience!

As a space it’s not overly amazing. It’s is a wide boulevard flanked by old and new shops and hotels. At one end is the statue of Wenceslas where you can’t help but sing Good King Wenceslas… knowing he was not a king now! As a place of history it is memorising. The 1989 gathering must have been a sight. The Hotel Jalta looks out to the square. It’s a busy touristy spot and should be perused when visiting Prague as it contains a lot of history, recent and much older.

this building is very nice from the outside, but not much to see inside. it is right next to the cemetary which is worth a visit, although you do have to go around the block to get in!

It is well preserved and close to the metro station. Stained glass windows are colorful and luminous. The view from the top is spectacular!

Lovely peaceful park set within the castle walls… lots of people wandering around making the most of the weather. A small coffee shop and a cemetery thats got generations of families buried and beautiful memorials. The Basilica is very impressive and beautiful inside . I think it about 60 ck to go inside.

Kampa Park is a lovely area of Mala Strana that's always a joy to visit, its not all about the David Cerney " Baby Statue's "as cool as they are as there's beautiful buildings, great views of the Vltava River and amazing restaurants and bars ,its peaceful, its wonderful to walk around, its an oasis of calm amidst the hustle and bustle of the Lesser Town ( Mala Strana ) and if you're planning a holiday to Prague its most definitely well worth checking out.

Had a great couple of hours here. It’s really interesting with a lot to read, look at and watch. Could of spent much longer than 2 hours here but there’s so much to see in Prague itself. For a free museum (optional donation) I would highly recommend

The quintet and two singers were topnotch and I say this as someone who has subscribed to the Lyric Opera of Chicago since 1971. Dinner was ok. It was what I expected, but service was bad. They totally forgot about our first course until my husband left the table to find someone. We were served as they cleared other people's bowls. The couple at the next table ordered the unlimited wine. They went the entire main course without wine, had to find someone to get wine during dessert and it was a less than generous pour. Go for the music and save your money on drinks.

On of the places that definitely worth visiting when you are in Prague - now for sure there are several hundreds of places , but still this is very very interesting - is the Strahov monastery.
Built in the early 1100's - to be precise in 1134 - it is still standing after so many centuries - now for sure there were several wars over the centuries ( the hessites war, the 30 years war , when the Swedish soldier did not manage to capture Prague itself , but sacked the monastery ... etc.)
The Basilica - the central church of the monastery - is impressive - pity that we had no time to visit it - only a few pictures from the entrance through the bars at the entrance to the nave. But still what can be see it is impressive from a distance - so I can just imagine how it is from the inside.
We also did not have time to visit the library of the monastery - that is also told to be impressive.
.. and yes they got their own brewery - but yet again no time to sit in and taste the brew that is made here... next time.
Overall a very impressive place - with a lot of treasures to discover , I would say try to find a guided tour, that is at least 4-5 hours to discover majority of the interesting things that Strahov monastery can offer - it is worth it!
When in Prague - go and check out Strahov Monastery - it is definitely worth your time.
