I chose the Hotel Aria for my proposal to my girlfriend/now fiancée and was absolutely blown away by the impeccable detail with which the staff assisted. Our room was fantastic — the Baroque gardens adjacent to the hotel are stunning — and breakfast was also top-notch. This is a luxurious hotel in a perfect location. The restaurant manager, Zoran, is an absolute professional who went above and beyond to make sure logistics for the proposal were taken of. I cannot recommend Aria enough.

We didn't choose this hotel in the first place. I booked somewhere else but that hotel (an international top-level 5-star property) suddenly cancelled my reservation with no explanation, and then rebooked us at the Aria. But I must admit the outcome was much better than I expected. We arrived quite late at night so we couldn't really fully appeciate the hotel, just that our room was a good size, decor was bright and pleasant, bathroom clean and adequate, yet no view and only looked into an internal courtyard. But we were delighted by the sumptuous breakfast buffet the following morning. We were also pleased with a dinner in the hotel restaurant, which ended up being one of the more memorable meals we had this trip. Despite the rainy thunderous weather which meant the rooftop bar was closed, the staff was kind enough to open it just for us, so we could take our wine up there for a toast, snap a few pictures, and enjoyed a few moments of the night scenery. Perhaps most unexpected and delightful was the afternoon stroll in the hotel back garden. It was a lovely area with a few stairs to navigate, but well worth it. We'd be happy to return to this hotel on our next trip to Prague, especially given the convenient location just two blocks away from Charles Bridge!

This was, in honesty, a fallback choice because the Mandarin Oriental was full, and to tell you the truth, I liked the Aria every bit as much. From Martin, the wonderful doorman to the extremely friendly and professional front desk people, everyone, and I mean everyone we encountered was wonderful. Room 306 was very nice indeed! Breakfast was amazing. The head bartender, who seemed to work 14 hours a day was funny and super nice and spoke great English, as did Martin and all the front desk staff. The property is lovely! The artwork was interesting and tasteful. I have traveled all over most of the world, and rarely have I had such a great accidental experience! I won't stay anywhere else in Prague again! I and my group of 7 were totally charmed by the place. Every one of us. We were there from October 30 2021 until November 1st.

After much research, I selected this hotel and would absolutely stay here again! We were so glad that we stayed on this side of the river, much less crowded and touristy. The hotel is just 5 minutes from the Charles Bridge and 10 minutes to the castle. Prague is a very walkable city!

Breakfast was delicious - best scramble eggs I have at a hotel! Lots of options. While the room was small (as expected in Europe) it was beautifully done. The bathroom was large with a great tub. The view from our hotel window was just amazing - so charming! Hotel staff were very courteous and professional. The home made snacks from the chef when we arrived were a nice touch. We drove to Prague, so having a place to park at the hotel was essential. We just pulled in and the valet took it from there!!

One big benefit of staying here is the attachment to the gardens were just beautiful. You could just step out of the hotel into the gardens which had amazing views of the city.

From the minute we arrived we were treated so well - the staff bent over backwards to look after us and check we were happy and comfortable. The room was spacious and had everything you needed and more and the bed was huge and so comfortable. We only had breakfast but that was lovely with lots of choice and very nicely set out like the extra sitting rooms.
We were treated so very well and would not hesitate to recommend and hope to return to this hotel

We stayed only 2 nights, and wish it was much more. What a beauty, very luxurious, music themes throughout, art and sculpture in the common areas great breakfast, a library, and a stunning multilevel garden that was colorful and serene. Location is just a few minutes from the St. Charles Bridge. The staff all focused on helping us and answered every question. I highly recommend this, if you want comfort, space, great food, and kind people.

Dear Terril64, thank you very much for your great review and comments. Hotel owner is a very passionate art collector and many of the unique paintings and sculptures are displayed throughout public areas and also in the guest rooms. Music is a signature topic of the hotel - rooms are located on Contemporary, Classial , Opera or Jazz floors and devoted to a significant artist out of that genre. Our Associates are the most valuable asset for our hotel and we truly appreciate you were satisfied with our hospitality. We truly hope to be able to welcome you back anytime soon ! Sincerely Jiri

The service was impeccable, the food on the rooftop restaurant was delicious and the room was very clean and loaded with amenities. Be sure to visit the garden, gallery and see the works of art displayed around the hotel. The staff was most helpful and suggestions were awesome. The location is a short walk to the bridge and away from tourists. Perfect!!

It's true....this hotel is an absolute gem! I'm happy to report that the positive reviews were accurate. My husband and I were celebrating an Anniversary and they gave us a suite on the Mozart floor with a view of the adjacent Italian-style Baroque gardens - soooo beautiful! I couldn't get enough of it. I wish I didn't have to leave the hotel to tour the other sights! :) Location is relatively convenient too...a short hike to the Prague Castle. Cross the Charles Bridge, walk for a bit and you'll be in Old Town Square. A special thank you to Patrick at Receptions who took very good care of us when we checked in and Michael (?) who was helpful with our luggage and other matters. STAY HERE with your special someone! You'll be delighted!

I arrived late at night. I traveled alone, so safety was essential to me. The front desk greeted me, my luggage was taken care of, and I finally got to my room and literally passed out. Standard hotel procedure, not a big deal. In the morning, I opened the shades, and the view took my breath away! The gorgeous view of the garden made me feel like a princess for the next six days. The restaurant’s food and service was terrific! 5 starts. But the biggest surprise was when I lost my Gucci $850 glasses(because of the lenses), and the hotel staff found them and returned them to me promptly. From the minute I arrived to the day of my departure, I felt safe, taken care of, and very spoiled at Aria. Next year, I will travel with my son during Christmas, and I will stay at Aria (hopefully in the same room) again!

My partner and I have been to Prague on many occasions but this hotel was areal find. From the moment one arrived - even before because they arranged excellent transport for us from the airport - one felt pampered and cared for in every detail. The service was impeccable, the room spacious and clean. A superb hotel in a very convenient part of the city but a short walk to the Charles Bridge and all the major sights of Prague. With access to the hugely efficient tram network just a short walk away, too, it was the ideal location. My husband and I had always said that one day we would stay in a really nice hotel in Prague. Well we did - the Aria Hotel is very special and we will definitely be back.

Is the property accessible by taxi and if on foot is it on a hill with multiple steps
Answer from NYC7002
New York City, New York47 contributions65 helpful votes
Yes, it is accessible by taxi and no, it’s not on a hill. No steps up to reception and there’s an elevator right at reception. One of the people I was traveling with had a knee issue which seriously affected his mobility and he was fine getting in and out of the hotel and accessing his room and the breakfast and public rooms.
