Neighbourhood: Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.

Nice view, and open mall with parking. Outside structure crazy.
Open air mall not many food choices. Dolby theatre on property and TCL Chinese theater in front of mall. This is very busy , and crazy environment, nice to see history. Has a view of the Hollywood sign on 3 Rd level bridge, but still small view for pics.

Super cool place to visit in LA.
Hollywood and Highland is one of the hubs in Los Angeles and definitely a place to visit. They have a large mall here called Ovation Hollywood, the famous Walk of Fame, the huge historical Dolby Movie Theatre, and lots of entertainment. El Capitan, Ghirardelli's, and the Chinese Movie theatre are some of the cool places to check out. The Hard Rock Cafe is a nice place to come for lunch as well. Parking is validated for 2 hours at some of the restaurants here as well. Come sightsee and explore.

The beauty of Hollywood and Highland.
Hollywood is very accessible through metro line from Downtown, Los Angeles. We were amazed of the places which we only saw in movies. Since we visited Hollywood early in the morning, we were able to capture great photos by ourselves. This is a happy and starry place.

Recommend coming here to park if you want to visit the Hollywood Walk of Fame! Parking is $3 for two hours if validated by a store in the mall. Two hours is more than enough. Pro tip is to visit Japan House! It’s a cute store with an art exhibit and it’s free to enter. On exiting, they’ll offer you parking validation! No need to buy anything! But they’re also very sweet employees and have cute artsy designs for wallets and housewares etc. the art exhibit currently is on bamboo and interesting to see.

Nice shopping plaza with plenty of shops and restaurants love the decor of the plaza and it connects with the Chinese theater and the Dolby theater. It also connects you to Hollywood boulevard and has a lot of photo ops

Great location next to the Loews and views of the Hollywood sign as well as right next to Hollywood Walk of Fame. Unfortunately due to Covid so many places closed. Some eateries open were Starbucks, Californina Pizza and Ben and Jerry and Johnny Rockets. A lot of shops closed what was open was Victoria Secrets, Shoe Palace, Pink, Forever 21 and Sephora and Walgreens. It was all very quiet

I saw many reviews instructing folks to take pics from the 4th Floor of the Hollywood & Highland Mall. Well on the day of our arrival in Hollywood-LA we checked into our hotel and walked about 2 miles to see some sights we were tired and excited. So, we go to the Mall and see the view of the Hollywood Sign. And, noticed the floors and we see where we could get a clear shot on a higher floor. By the way we did not count the floors on our way up just walking around and enjoying our time. Now keep in mind this is after a 6 hour flight- time change and lots of walking. I am excited, tired and glassy eyed, and walking ahead of my hubby so I get to the location first and pull out my cell phone but before I could get a photo a lady runs over. I thought she was going to ask me for directions. I was ready to say I am only visiting. But then I hear her say "you can't take photos up here. See the sign and she starts reading it to me. No Photography For Private Parties". I did not see it until she pointed it out. So folks be warned make sure you go to the 4th floor. Apparently we were on the 5th floor...LOL!! Someone would have to police the area because the sign is small print and it's easy to miss it. So, I know they have ran other people away. It was embarrassing and funny to me. On the way down we saw all the people on the 4th floor.

It’s a fabulous complex, incorporating some of the famous Theatres, a Hotel and of course much retail plus eateries.

We began by having a delicious lunch at California Pizza Kitchen. After that sustenance we explored. Ascending the walkways afforded brilliant vistas of the area and all the way to the iconic Sign.

It was fun strolling around the plethora of outlets. Later we had coffee and cappuccino in a grand café, relaxing watching locals and visitors pass by.
