Very nice and instructive, it was interesting to learn about the old town, listen historical facts and see the famous pictures. Of course the museum is not so big, but inside you feel more comfortable than in the huge halls of the big famous museums as the Hermitage or the Louvre.

I have yet to find a museum that gives you this awkward feeling. You start, expecting a Historical museum, and instead, you find a collection of collections!!! Route is complicated, counter intuitive, and you have this awkward feeling like "I shouldn't be here", "Am I trespassing?" Not really worth the time

First thing to say is the museum is undergoing a large scale redevelopment and therefore there is a very limited amount on display. The majority of materials that are on show are collections of Frankfurt citizens from the past. These could have some interest but there is no information provided next to the display items only a catalog books at a central table.
