Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 27, 2023, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Sadia B. Guilbeau, 87, who passed away on May 21, 2023, at J. Michael Morrow Nursing Home
A visitation will take place at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge on Saturday, May 27, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
Deacon Butch Hebert will officiate at the funeral service.
Entombment will follow at a later date at St. Bernard Cemetery #2
Sadia was born on June 28, 1935, in Breaux Bridge.
Sadia was a devout Catholic who volunteered regularly at her local churches throughout life. She truly enjoyed gardening and working in her yard. She dearly loved her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons, Jay (Colleen) Guilbeau Jr., Kurt (Mary) Guilbeau Sr, and Nick (Sheila) Guilbeau; sisters, Elmae Picard and Iva Mae Theriot; grandchildren, Megan Matherne, Brandon Samis, Christopher Guilbeau, Deana Guilbeau, Megan Samis, MicKayla Weaver, TJ Guilbeau, Jamie Humerickhouse, Jarrod Sexton, Heather Sexton and Lacey Centers; great-grandchildren, Britney Tracy, Ellie Tracy, Caleb Matherne.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Placide Belaire and Emma Belaire; sisters, Oline Guidry, Earline Degaterre; brothers, Earles Belaire, Clevens Belaire and Loiston Belaire.
