Harry goes back to school and finds that nobody believes him about the cause of Cedric’s death, not even his friends. Hermione and Ron have discovered a newfound romance and neglect to notice how harsh Harry is being bullied by his peers (and teachers).
Mcgonagall initiates a ‘house swap’ for the 5th years to help ease the stress of students, and by either chance or dumb luck Harry gets placed among the slytherins.New friendships, new love, and then more death. In the end, it’s always death for those around Harry Potter.
The start will be fixed later i promise, so lets pretend theres a good few chapters before they become even close to being friends until i add them in.
This has no beta reader so there might be spelling mistakes, whole fic should be roughly 50 chapters but it depends how it all plays out.

Little Harry finds out he’s a wizard and his first thought is that Voldemort sounds cool and he’d very much like to join his ‘team’. He only joins Hogwarts to find a way to get in contact with him. Deciding to stay as his reason to return home vanishes, Harry’s desperate avoidance of boredom and inability to think any action through before he hurtles straight into it not only results in huge amounts of chaos but also the interest of a certain powerful man with red eyes.
Basil only adds to the chaos.
No bashing of anybody (at least not intentionally but Harry has very firm opinions).

The war had long since passed, Harry was now in his early twenties and working as an Auror, Harry looked back on his time at Hogwarts with a mixture of sadness, wishes of change and the slightest hints of disdain. His engagement to Ginny had been one of the few good outcomes from his time there.
He’d been distracted by his thoughts of Hogwarts whilst sorting through the evidence of a current case he’d been investigating, something to do with a young wizard messing with things he shouldn’t have just yet. It would most likely land the child with a slap on the wrist but Harry still needed to sort through the mess that had been made.
He’d been moving an oddly coloured potion from the evidence box when it slipped from his hands, the potion tumbling rather quickly to the floor in a way that was almost comical with the way it tumbled before splashing onto the floor. Harry closed his eyes to avoid any of this unknown potion from getting into them, but if he had opened his eyes…he would have seen the world shift around him and he would have seen his own body shift and change in ways it shouldn’t have been able to.
