The Hangman (2015) is one of the better hidden gems I've seen in a while.
I wont spoil any details but if anyone is into the rare murderer POV found footage a la poughkeepsie Tapes, you'll really enjoy this one. I'd certainly recommend it.
Also, I love the tune that plays on the radio and in another specific scene. Great addition.

love it.
Anyone else got recommendations for scary or disturbing foundfootage? 'Villain' POV or otherwise?
Cheers!
Last Horror Movie is also another fairly decent VILLAIN POV FF horror movie.
Where did you watch it? It's not showing up in JustWatch
You might've been misled by OP accidently referring to the movie as 'the hangman' when it's just 'hangman' - JustWatch details here, if you're not in the US, switch countries.
Ah thanks. Too bad it's not in Canada.
I feel like I can watch just about anything horror. But I couldn’t finish The Poughkeepsie Tapes. I’m sure it didn’t help that I was watching it when my (16 yrs old at the time) was out with friends and I was just imagining the very worst 😬
Hangman is super overlooked. I love it.
Shout-out to the end credits song. 😎
SINISTER
With Ethan Hawk?
Yes
Thanks for the rec. I got some solid chills when the climax of the movie hit.
I enjoyed it. Well made, a different idea than a lot of FF movies. I give it 6.5 skulls out of 10
A found footage that has an 86% rating with on rotten tomatoes?? Aight lets give this a shot
I was just about to post about this, but I looked and found your post. I think it's a terrific little film. I've seen it twice over the last couple of years and could watch it again. Highly recommended.
