Hotel was updated and modern. Our King suite was spacious and spotless…beds are super comfy too. Walls a little thin and the kids upstairs jumping around was a bit annoying. We decided to stay outside of Boston proper and this location was great for driving in. All in all a great stay.

We look for Hampton Inn & Suites hotels for short trips, because they always seem to be clean, quiet and provide good complimentary services. This location was no exception. Staff was accommodating and we enjoyed the amenities. It was also close to everything -- including restaurants, grocery shopping and the Boston colleges we were visiting.

After having to cancel our first anniversary trip due to the shutdown last year and then our second due to the town we were going to visit going into the high red zone again...we chose to stay a little closer to home and this was a great location. Close to a lot of restaurants and shops, not too far from Boston. The staff were very friendly during our entire stay. The breakfast wasn’t what we had hoped for, but we appreciated it just the same! Dunkin is also just a hop, skip, and a jump away if you need it. The room and bathroom were a great size. The AC worked amazing. The pool was available at a limited capacity and cleaned daily. I loved being able to unlock the door to our room using the app instead of a key (very cool feature). Only downsides were that there was no dresser, the pillows were very uncomfortable, the indoor pool was very cold, and there was no microwave in the room. We knew beforehand about the microwave and didn’t think anything of it until we realized it was kind of something we needed. I was also under the impression the pool was heated, but I could totally be wrong.

Had a overnight stay at the Hampton Inn at Waltham and couldnt have asked for a better hotel! This is a fairly new and modern hotel with lovely decor and lighting throughout the establishment. Looks just as good as the pictures show!

More importantly, the staff take cleaning precautions very seriously as there were hand sanitizer and lysol wipes stations in various places. The hotel grounds as well as our room were SPOTLESS and in immaculate condition. Housekeeping did a tremendous job preparing the room for us!

As for the room itself, it was very spacious and the bed was really comfortable. The bathroom had plenty of toiletries and towels, and again, everything was super clean; vacuumed, lysol sprayed, and scrubbed and it shows! Only minor complaint is there was minimal space to put away folded clothes - no chest drawer, just some metal trays under the entertainment center to put a few things away.

The hotel serves *hot* breakfast from 6a-10a and it was great! Lots of different options and of course the waffle maker was the biggest hit. Its nice to see Hampton Inn serving hot food as opposed to the packaged cold stuff hotels have been giving away since Covid started. Plastic utensils, cups, microwave, and coffee are also available anytime in the lobby/dining area.

The pool was nice and heated but a bit small. It starts feeling cramped if there are more than 5-6 people in it and kids were diving even though theres a sign that says not too. My wife used the gym and told me she had a good workout. A couple of treadmills, elypticals, weights, and a exercise station are available as well as gym towels and wipes to clean the equipment after use.

All in all a great stay and would definitely stay again if in the Boston area!

I am not sure what was producing that vibrating noise, like some kind of industrial-size giant air conditioner or something, but it was coming from outside the hotel. Other than that, the room was great, the breakfast was great. Location is a bit hard to find if you are not familiar with the area, but quiet yet convenient to major highways.

Housekeeping supervisor was very nice and helped reunite me with a forgotten item when I came through on my way back four days later.

The one downside was that there are no restaurants within walking distance.

I reserved an accessible room for a week of rest and recovery following foot surgery across the street at MGH Waltham. It was perfect. The room had lots of light, rolling ottomans, rolling chairs and the extra pillows made it perfect to get around in a cast and elevate my foot. The staff was extremely accommodating: Susanna, Andrea, Hector, Charlie and others. Going above and beyond to make up for my limitations of being on crutches. In room fridge too!

How can I trust that I take care of the rest of the building? We are experiencing a sensitive time where everything needs to be consistently cleaned. Yet, the microwave in the lobby has never been cleaned once. Therefore I can’t trust that real attention is being given to my room, knowing that it will be less frequented than the microwave, yet the microwave is old and dirty! How could you overlook it?!

The room’s bathroom has no exhaust, so if your traveling partner uses it, give it a good long break before going in. The shelf in the shower was glued on crooked, and everything I put there slid to the floor. A $90 electric toothbrush got broken inside and stopped working. The front desk could do nothing when I checked out, so I left the brush with them and reached out to the management by phone. The inn manager refused to speak with me (twice) and had me deal with his assistant who gave me a terrific run-around. Said it would take five days to check out the defective shelf that caused my loss. Well, it’s been 10 days now, and nothing.
I love the Hampton brand and often stay there but was hugely disappointed by my stay at Hampton Inn and Suites Boston/Waltham. They really give a black eye to the brand.

I booked this hotel for a quick break to Boston (I know, it’s the suburbs, but we took commuter rail in to town). We had a quick check in, social-distanced style, easy parking in a big lot, inviting entry and lobby. Our room was on the third floor, two fast elevators got us there. King sized bed and a full sized sofa bed, large tv, mini fridge, amble plugs and usb plug-ins too. Bathroom was clean, huge shower stall, smelled freshly cleaned, spotless really. Air conditioning worked great, quiet room. Some noise came through from upstairs, but nothing too annoying. The indoor pool was small, but perfect for us to splash around in, racks of clean towels and seating around the pool. Breakfast was from 6-10am, standard stuff: mini omelettes, yogurts, breads to toast, oatmeal, and a waffle bar. Coffee was plentiful, but not the best (I’m picky about my coffee). Easy freeway access and shops and things nearby (Costco next door for example). Will return if we get a chance.

I got a phone call from the front desk because of noise even before I did not open my baggage yet. It was only an half hour later from check-in and I never made that much noise. But I was very cautious not to make any noise after that complain because it made me feel bad. A few minutes later, a guest who was staying below my room knocked on my door. She complained about the noise again. It made me feel terrible and I even felt unsafe to stay there. When I reported it to the front desk, they only gave me their manager’s business card and I was able to see the manager after two nights staying without any help from other staff. The manager David told me that their staff called to the women who came to me immediately and gave her a warning not to do that again. But they never updated me about what they did. And the manager gave me only an $18 discount at the check out when I mentioned that I would make a Google review about it. Kidding me? Only $18 discount even though my stay was totally unhappy because of this situation? They ruined my vacation.

Thank you for your feedback. As we discussed in person, we take the comfort, safety and security of all of our guests very seriously. Our staff followed up on a noise complaint as per protocol and asked the guest who spoke to you to not take matters into their own hands again. We're sorry if you felt this ruined your vacation, we hope you we're able to enjoy all that Waltham and the area has to offer during your long holiday weekend here.
