After the fertilized egg (zygote) undergoes embryo culture for 2–6 days, it is implanted in the woman or another woman’s uterus, with the intention of establishing a successful pregnancy. This is the same process by which Griffin Musk’s triplet brothers were also born.

The Elon Musk twins arrived two years after the passing of their elder brother, Nevada. At the very young and delicate age of just 10 weeks old, Nevada died of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS). Griffin Musk’s parents put her elder brother, Nevada to sleep, according to Ashlee Vance’s account, and when they returned, he was no longer breathing. 

Griffin Musk’s mother, Justine Wilson, is a writer from Canada. However, Griffin musk’s father used to give flowers and communicate with his mother. Justine began teaching English as a second language in Japan and also began writing books. Justine used to visit Elon when he went to Silicon Valley to work on his first dot-com startup, Zip2. Elon gave her his credit card when they were at the library one day and said: “Buy as many books as you possibly can.” This remark made her fall even harder for him. After knowing one other for almost 10 years, the couple married in a beautiful ceremony in the presence of their friends, family, and loved one in 2000.

However, their marriage didn’t last ever, On September 13, 2008, Griffin Musk’s parents announced that they were getting a divorce. Justine and Musk share custody of Griffin Musk and his siblings. His mother later wrote an article for Marie Claire titled “I Was a Starter Wife” detailing ways in which she thought the marriage was unhealthy, including that her ex-husband frequently belittled her, discouraged her from career pursuits, and pressured her to dye her hair blonde. 

The loss of their son had undoubtedly taken a toll on the Musks. In the Marie Claire story, Griffin Musk’s mother said, “Elon made it obvious that he did not want to discuss Nevada’s death.” “I didn’t get it, just as he didn’t see why I was publicly grieving, which he said was ’emotionally manipulative.’ Instead, I suppressed my grief, coping with Nevada Alexander Musk’s death by going to an IVF facility for the first time less than two months later. Elon and I had hoped to conceive again as soon as possible.” And within the next five years, Griffin Musk’s parents had given birth to him, his twin brother, and then the triplets. 

Griffin Musk’s mother saw that his father’s response to the loss of their first kid resembled a protection mechanism he had acquired as a youngster. She told Esquire magazine, “He doesn’t do well in gloomy settings.” “He’s forward-thinking, and I believe it’s a matter of survival for him.”

“I’m not sure what to do in such circumstances.”

He also didn’t see why it was essential to grieve in public. “Talking about it made me really upset,” he allegedly stated. “I’m not sure why I’d want to discuss such tragic occurrences. It is detrimental to the future. If you have other children and responsibilities, wallowing in grief isn’t healthy for anyone.”

As of 2010, Griffin Musk’s mother claimed to be a “model former wife”, and said she was on good terms with Elon’s then-second wife, Talulah Riley. Griffin Musk’s mother has not made any statement regarding her current status. She’s either unmarried or really adept at concealing her personal life.

Griffin Musk’s father Elon had five more children with his mother after their brother, Nevada Alexander died, all of whom were born through in vitro fertilization. Their marriage lasted eight years before ending in divorce in 2008.

After his parent’s divorce, his father started dating English actress Talulah Riley (who, according to numerous newspapers, was still a virgin when they met) in the year 2008, and in the year 2010, the couple tied the knot. In May 2018, it was revealed that Griffin Musk’s father is dating Canadian musician Grimes and in May 2020, they became parents of a son named Kyle Musk. Initially, Griffin Musk’s baby brother was named X 1E A-12, with “X” as a first name and “AE A-XII” as a middle name. But people don’t understand how to pronounce it plus it was also deemed illegal under California law. According to the laws the name contained characters that are not in modern English.

Griffin Musk’s father, Elon was born and raised in Pretoria, South Africa, before moving to Canada to pursue his studies at Queen’s University. He traveled to the United States after two years to study economics and physics at the University of Pennsylvania. He subsequently went on to Stanford University to seek a Ph.D. in applied physics but left out after deciding he wanted to be an entrepreneur. Zip2, which he co-founded with his brother, was his first business venture.

The online software firm was a success, and it was bought by Compaq for $340 million, propelling him to millionaire status rapidly.
