I was kind of excited about going to this. The gyro I got was literally filled with fat. Maybe a 1/4 of it was actually meat. 27 bucks for two of those and a salad. Pretty bummed about it. Wouldn't recommend it, especially with how unorganized the staff was. Made it really hard to enjoy. Staff members shouting orders at you while people pile up waiting on specific items to be rushed over. Would definitely suggest that they hire some sort of catering company or staffing service.

It was my second time attending the annual Greek Festival, and my experience was consistent with the last.
Most of the staff is welcoming and friendly. We very much enjoyed the security guard; he was funny and joked with us both as we entered and left. Plenty of tables and misters to keep you cool. We arrived around 9:30PM and for an event that goes until midnight, several dishes were sold out and what wasn't, was cold. Bummed, but we did go outback where there were more food options. Got to try their newer gyro bowls and that was tasty. Lively music, dancing, and vendors available.
A little gripe about the sodas. They, I assume in hopes of speeding up the exchange, pre-poured all the sodas, so we were given a watered down, flat Barq's rootbeer with but a couple melted pieces of ice. You could guess how long it was sitting out from all the condensation that coated the cup. When we asked for a freshly poured one, we were told that they "had run out of soda". That bit was disappointing, to say the least, but a small inconvenience.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Lynn L.Fresno, CA02745May 28, 2020Updated review
Not really doing an update of my rating of this fest, but I happened to stumble across this review and noticed lots of typos and mistakes, that were not initially there when I first wrote/typed this review because I make sure that I proofread these reviews like 6 times before posting them. I would not have left these very obvious mistakes in my review. What is going on Yelp? I will be proofreading this update as well!

Greek fest is held annually, however this was my first time attending and i am glad that i did. Food was okay, i ordered a lamb shank, rice(seasoned w/garlic amd herbs), i tried some of my friends eggplant lasagna, it was okay, everything was a la cart and my total came out to 10. something. I Also tried Loukoumades (which is basically deep fried dough balls with honey liquid syrup drizzled over them) and ah ...they were alright, i ate 2 and my friend ate like the other 10, and i didn't eat very many, and i love fried dough. There were lots of vendors selling various things from jewelry, portraits, other trinkets to orgsnizations w/in the central valley, informing the public of avsilzble resources and whater else they were promoting. Inside the church was absolutely beautiful, from the stained glass to the high ceilings, just stunning. Also parking that isn't on the street is $5.00.

Beautiful church! Nice friendly welcoming people. And boy, do they make a grand Greek Festival celebration here. It's my third year to come here. It's official this is my annual tradition to join Greek festival.
