KJ Apa sparked romance rumors of his own at Comic Con this weekend, when he was seen holding hands with and kissing 29-year-old actress Britt Robertson. E! reports the rumored couple were cuddly at Entertainment Weekly's Comic Con party this Saturday, where they had their arms around each other and exchanged one kiss. Here, what to know about Robertson...and how exactly she and Apa met to begin with.

Robertson and Apa started off as coworkers and have a movie coming out they starred in together.

Apa and Robertson both were part of the 2017 movie A Dog's Purpose, E! pointed out. They are also playing each other's love interests in the upcoming new movie: I Still Believe. Apa is set to play real-life Christian music singer Jeremy Camp, while Robertson will be playing Camp’s wife Melissa Henning.

Apa and Robertston have been liking each other's Instagrams for months.

Us Weekly reports the rumored couple first started regularly liking the other's posts in April. They aren't liking every single Instagram post though. Robertson first liked Apa's April 28 post and last liked his July 14 post.

Robertson has been acting for nearly 20 years but really broke out as a teen and young adult actress.

Robertson's first TV appearance was back in 2000, according to her IMDB. But the actress's most significant roles have been on the Disney Channel's Avalon High movie, The CW's Life Unexpected (she starred as Lux Cassidy), The Secret Circle, Under the Dome, and Girlboss (she starred in that series as Sophia Marlowe).

In an April 2017 The Hollywood Reporter interview promoting Girlboss, Robertson talked about how growing up in the industry shaped her. "Being an actor you're constantly thrust into a world where you're giving people the license to talk about you and have opinions about you and your work," she started. "That alone creates a sense of success and failure and ups and downs. I've definitely had that. I've been lucky that I've been doing this for a really long time that it's all normal life to me now and I'm not greatly affected by it. But there was a point in time where I would feel if I failed, I would never be able to recover and it was the end. Whereas now what I've taken from the show is this idea that you don't have to be perfect. You can fail and you can suck. It takes a brave person to do that and to get up every day and still give it your best shot rather than just cowering with fear."

Robertson previously dated Graham Rogers and Dylan O'Brien.

Us Weekly reports that while this is Apa's first public romance, it's not Robertson's. She has dated two other actors: Quantico's Graham Rogers and Teen Wolf's Dylan O'Brien. Rogers was Robertson's most recent boyfriend, and according to Us, while the two posted about each other a lot during the relationship. But once things ended, Rogers deleted all his photos of Robertson. Her last one up on her page is from Christmas 2018. The two first started hanging in late October.

Robertson and O'Brien, meanwhile, dated for years: from 2012 to late 2018. They didn't formally announce their split and kept the details of their relationship private. Robertson and Rogers went public with their relationship around the same time O'Brien and Robertson's split was reported.

Robertson was born in North Carolina and comes from a big family.

In a 2013 Interview feature, she told the publication that "I am the oldest of seven. Do my siblings think I’m super cool? I wish they thought I was super cool! A lot of them are pretty young, so they don’t really get to watch a lot of the television and films that I’ve been in. The older ones, I think, think I’m pretty cool. Not because I’m an actor, because I’m an awesome big sister."

She also detailed her child acting days, where she tried to befriend Hilary Duff. "I moved to L.A., and I lived in the Oakland Apartments, which is this notorious hub for actor children and their stage moms," she said. "For the first few years that I lived there, Hilary Duff and Frankie Muniz frequented the apartments. I was much younger than them at the time. I would follow them around and try to be their friends and they would have no interest in me whatsoever. I was just such a big fan of theirs. I wouldn’t consider them really friends, but I definitely saw them and would stalk them like a weirdo."
