The food was very good and the ambience very pleasant. The waitress (Melissa pronounced Molissa) made it clear that she didn’t want to be working on 23 December. A table of three elderly people behind us asked for separate checks. She said that she had...already processed the order and that the computer would not be able to override the transaction (read on). Another customer complained that he had not got the correct order. Rather than attempting to resolve the issue she said “I will remember you next time”! She took our order in an indignant fashion and crashed everything down onto the table on her visits back. I explained that the breakfast order should have come with toast. She didn’t respond. Another waitress stepped in and got the toast for her. She could be heard bad mouthing the customers from the kitchen throughout. At the end of what was a late breakfast she gave us a check that was just a scribbled mess with the wrong total amount......funny as it was all processed by a computer (see above)! I brought the calculating error to the attention of her coworker when paying. She asked her to comment at which time she rudely shouted down the counter that we had ordered breakfast after 11.00 and there was a surcharge. I pointed to my watch and explained that it was just past 11.00 and we had already had our meal! She grabbed the check and scribbled all over it whilst bashing on a calculator. She got it wrong again but she didn’t care! She then pointed to the section to leave a tip! All the time her coworker was apologising behind her back. After many happy visits we will not be returning to this restaurant.More

First of all, I think the air conditioning was broke - estimate about 80 degrees in restaurant. I ordered the hot turkey plate. Came with hot soup (chicken broth with sea shell noodles - never had sea shell pasta in a soup before.) A lot...of mashed potatoes and some sort of yellow jarred gravy. Instant mashed potatoes. Nothing great about the meal. Waitress served me two ice cold drinks up front (because of the temperature.) Will not return.More

We stopped in for breakfast around 11 am. They serve it all day. It took forever to get our meals, maybe because the waitresses were sitting with customers. I asked for a lightly toasted plain bagel. It came "very" toasted and cold. My husbands entire...breakfast was cold and bland.More

I had not been here in quite awhile, and while I was waiting for an appointment in the neighborhood, thought I'd grab a quick bite and be done with it. Sat at the counter and got excellent service from Sarah. Made the mistake of ordering...from the Mexican menu, it was just not very tasty, and even the soup was not up to par....have had much better here in the past. Cannot recommend this place at this time, yet will try again in the future.More

I have eaten breakfast here many times and have always been pleased, but not today. We ordered Eggs Benedict and Irish Benedict and it all would have been fine EXCEPT the Hollandaise sauce was NOT good. It was the consistency of gravy and a deep...gold color! I have eaten Hollandaise sauce all over the country and never had anything similar to this. I even asked our waitress if this was the normal sauce and she confirmed that it was. I will continue to go there but will NEVER order Hollandaise sauce again.More

We went for dinner, expecting traditional diner fare and were pleasantly surprised to find a limited Italian dinner menu. The food was delicious, with an authentic Italian flavor and presentation. Jamie, our server, was very friendly and attentive, even with being the only server for...the restaurant.More

The food was absolutely disgusting. My 6 year old tried his kids burger and refused to eat it. I ordered a steak quesadilla to share with my partner and all of it was left behind. Ery bite was pure fat in my mouth. I attempted...it 3 times then decided to stop eating it as well. I do not understand how this food and this meat is served to people. I would not feed my dog with this quality of meat. After this lovely experience I had to track down our server for the check, as she seemed to forget we existed. To make the experience more special, I returned to get my son's juice off the table, and ran into the same waitress and a bus girl, who quite unprofessionally were poking fun, saying that the least I could have done was take my food with me, after paying for it. I am appalled by this experience. I paid for the food and will never return to this place. I will never recommend anyone to go there as long as they are in business. Highly unprofessional.More

Perfect home fries, quick service, all good. (Not such great coffee, but hey, it's typical diner fare ; ) I like the clatter, the friendly banter between the servers and their loyal long-term customers....it is a cute old place where you expect a quick breakfast...and good value. Yesterday we went for breakfast here. We had 6 people, one wheelchair bound. After waiting for a table for 30 mins, being told they had one table just cleared and waiting for the other to be cleared Other parties who arrived later were sat instead....If they didn't want to accommodate us they could have told us that upfront. Made themselves appear unfriendly to handicapped.More

Just walked out of here after sitting for 10 minutes and no one acknowledged we were there. Two tables seated after us and they received their drinks and had their orders taken. As we were walking out the waitress finally acknowledged us and said "come...back soon". Yeah that's not going to happen.More

Good diner and comfort food that you expect and want when hungry. Great mix of breakfast and lunch choices with affordable daily specials. Completely non fancy. Expect a short wait at key times.

Now that they are open at night for dinner...it is only the BBQ Menu, but WOW! Everything is homemade including all their sides. Lots of variety to choose from. Great Flavor. Really Great Service. Prices aren't bad either.
