Audience Member This is a combination of indie mini movies. The first story was mildly creepy, but boring and the characters used very little expression/acting. The 2nd and 3rd only got weirder and had weren't even attempted to be explained. At least the last one was mildly decent, but the swearing was just added where it wasn't needed. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member Boy this was a weird collection! Lust stories was far better in comparison. Even Ram Gopal Varma could have made a better horror collection. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member pretty forgettable; i wouldn't recommend. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Landon J I really liked the last 2 . Its honestly not that bad if you want to be amused and like creepy small stories. By no way did i think i wasted my time. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/21/20 Full Review Audience Member The idea where you mix 4 short horror stories together had me curious for this film, but realising that none of the stories are good stories makes it disapointing. Shubhra Gupta The Indian Express Overall, there's not enough sustained unease or a sense of dread or foreboding. Nor is there too much originality: I got flashes of John Krasinski's A Quiet Place, and Daphne du Maurier's Rebecca. Rated: 2/5 Jan 3, 2020 Full Review Namrata Joshi The Hindu Janhvi Kapoor and Surekha Sikri with their quick silver expressions in the fleeting moments, captured up close and personal, are both quite a treat to watch. Jan 3, 2020 Full Review Bilal Qureshi New York Times As with any samplers... there are some tastes better left forgotten and others one hopes will be expanded into fuller, even more terrifying forms. Jan 2, 2020 Full Review Pradeep Menon Firstpost Dibakar Banerjee’s Ghost Stories segment is a scathing take on current politics, reaffirming his cinematic mastery. Oct 16, 2023 Full Review Swetha Ramakrishnan Firstpost Dibakar Banerjee's political short film elevates an otherwise bland anthology that just isn't scary... Rated: 3/5 Oct 9, 2023 Full Review Saibal Chatterjee NDTV If only Ghost Stories had more shock and rattle written into its four segments, it would have given the crows something to crow about.
