Is it really some kind of ”limited edition” thing? I’ve seen it on ebay and etsy claiming to be a rare japaneese only release. But at the same time there seems to be a lot of sellers for it to be rare?

It's legit.
It is rare in the sense that it was only limited to a short promotional time. It's a promo disc. I don't know how much people are trying to sell it for, but it's definitely nothing you couldn't live without. I think I got mine at KFC. Or maybe that was a different one. It's a guide to the series. That's it. If you know the movies and the shows, you can definitely live without it.

Well, don't pay too much for it. I don't think it's worth too much. I REALLY HONESTLY think I got mine with a burger and fries. Notice the NOT FOR SALE notice on the back? These were given away with purchase.
