    Definitely worth the trip
Museum was really interesting and held the attention of all in our group. Ages ranged from 8 years old to 79. Good variety of exhibits. Employees were all over instructing and offering tips. The only issue we had were that the descriptions were placed for taller people and was impossible for kids to be able to see and read them. Even for adults it was not always easy to read the instructions, small white letters on orange background.
Thank you for your review, we're so glad to hear you enjoyed your experience with us!

Great experience for the family or date night
Very fun interactive museum. It’s mainly photo op opportunities. Takes about 45 minutes to see everything. Great for kids at least 8 and up I would say. The staff was very kind and helpful taking pictures for ppl and explaining each illusion if needed.

    Cool exciting place to visit
Such a cool place! A must go if you are in the area. Fun for kids and adults. Takes about an hour to see everything and explore. Need to buy tickets online prior to going since they have a limit of how many people can be in at one time.

    Interesting place to visit….
I saw this museum on Tik Tok and knew I had to visit while we were in Dallas. It was a interesting to see all of the illusions. I had a 10 year old with me and he had a wonderful time. Located in downtown Dallas, it was easily located. There was a few restaurants nearby as well. The staff was wonderful. I bought the tickets online and when we got there, we were greeted with big smiles! There was also a lot of staff members walking around. They offered to snap pictures or answer any questions we had. If you’re looking for souvenirs, there weren’t a lot available. Some puzzles and things of that nature. I would have liked a T-shirt but there was not much available.

    Fun but small and crowded
First, buy tickets ahead of time. When we arrived, they were turning away people without tickets as it was sold out for the day. It’s downtown so expect to pay for parking unless you can luck into one of the few spots out front. The illusions were fun and the photo opps were cool but it was just too small to be its own destination. Seemed more like one of those pop ups that appear temporarily at a mail. It didn’t take us long to go thru it but my 9 year old had fun. West end is mostly dead so there weren’t many walkable places nearby to eat. Had a good time but no real reason to return.

    Mesmerizing & Hilarious!
A favorite destination! Our family visited as part of our son's 13th birthday trip. We all loved this place! Every feature was exciting, interesting and had us all engaged. Not only mesmerizing but educational as well! So many photo opportunities, too! This museum is a must-see if you're visiting Dallas. Just too cool to pass up. Illusions had us surprised, perplexed and laughing! Amazing time!

    What a Cool Museum!
We got caught in an unexpected rainfall while walking around Dallas. We ducked inside here to get out of the rain, but what an unexpected surprise. We have three teenagers who are too old for traditional "children's museums". This kept everyone's attention for a couple of hours and was so fun and interactive for all of us!

    Awesome time bending your mind!
This place was so fun. It's not too big, but pack a good deal of interest. We were mesmerized by the Illusions and how they work. The set up is phenomenal and helps to brings the illusions to life. The staff was amazing! They were more than willing to help take pictures just the right way to make them great for your memories.

    Fun and unique museum
We are empty nesters looking for fun things to do and saw a Facebook ad for this museum. Although it is small, it had quite a few amazing photo ops, as well as many different displays of various illusions. The staff was very friendly and told us how to get the best photos and even offered to take some group shots. We heard it can get crowded, so we went on a Friday shortly after they opened and very few people were there at that time. It’s a great place for a date or to go with friends!

    Best experience thanks to Roxy
This was amazing and my family had a great time. We were not from Dallas and didn't realize traffic would be crazy so we missed our time but no worries worker Roxy helped us out. I called to say we were running late and Roxy said no worries see you when you get here. Her customer service was awesome and she even took our pictures as well as explained the different areas. We will definitely be back when in Dallas again. Must see!

I spent $60 on about 25 minutes of okay-ness. First of all, the place is really small for an interactive museum. Second, there just wasn't enough things to do that would last more than 25 minutes except an occasional waiting to take a picture. Third, this place should only charge about $10 if that per person. I drove about an hour based on reviews that made it sound like a really fun place so with the price of gas and ticket prices I feel like it was a wasted day and wasted money. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless it was a lot cheaper or even better...free.

We visited this place the day after Thanksgiving. For $19/afdult it took all of 35 min to get through the exhibits. The palce is drafty, small, the place is worn and the illusions not so good. I guess it might be interesting to kids, but for afaults, don't waste you money.

Save your money. It's crowded, not managed well and totally overpriced for the experience.

If they discount, sure, give it a shot... But don't expect the quality of Candytopia or Rainbow Vomit. This is badly lit, packed, small rooms with lots of people.

You're better off spending that $20 on a bar tab at 3 Eleven down the street

Basically, this place has pictures on walls wth a brief description/explanation next to the pictures. That is it!! Nothing more!! I guess if you are only paying for yourself and you want to kill 30 minutes, it is worth $20. But if you are bringing a family, forget it. This museum is way TOO expensive for a family.

the place is so small.. it’s not giving what it was supposed to have gave. $20 is too much money for 1 person $10 is more reasonable. the main room people wanted to take pictures in was dirty and couch cushion wouldnt even stay so we couldn’t even capture the illusion smh. Oh and it was hot Af too many ppl in a small room.

I bought tickets to Dallas Museum of Illusions and later find out I had the wrong time. When I called moidallas, they informed me that I would have to contact 'info@ dallas.com' Well, I did, and they are not even listed. They(museum of illusion) told me this was the only way to change the time listed on the ticket I purchased.

The prices were listed for adults $21 each, I purchased 2 adult tickets and with the fees the total was $50.14. Is that crazy or what???

I am just going to show up and tell them my ordeal and let them figure it out. I will be driving from SW Fort Worth to Downtown Dallas, just to spend a couple of hours there and there is no refund!!! Don't come to this attraction, you will just get ripped off

As part of celebrating my dad‘s 82nd birthday, we made a list of what we thought were fun activities in Dallas. Our first stop was this so-called museum (it’s really just a few rooms with a collection of illusions). It is a bright orange place with lots of activity and fun stuff to see. Upon arriving we paid the entry price, which I considered a bit expensive for what we received, and were given a brief overview by a young lady. She spoke so quickly that none of us in our group could understand if I asked her to please slow down. She said, “ this is just the way I speak.”, refusing to adjust so that we could actually understand the introduction. Needless to say not a great start, but we made it our way around the exhibits and had a good time. Beware that this is seriously a very small exhibit with a few fun things to see and a couple of interesting items for great photographs. It will take you about an hour at best. If the price were cheaper I would recommend this place, but sincerely I wouldn’t go back.

From what I saw online it looked like a fun place to go to. But as soon as my friends and I arrived at the place, we were a little confuse. The place was very small and it was only a one story building. It was very crowded with a lot of people, but we tried to make the best of it. The admission tickets were expensive in my opinion just to walk around and have to wait in line on other people just to interact with the illusions. We couldn’t really enjoy ourselves because we always had to move to the next piece very quickly. I understand now why they say no refunds because I would’ve ask for my money back. Will not return.

I took my family. My husband is not a huge fan of museums, and my kids are usually pretty hard to impress but when we did this museums it was hard to keep track of my kids ages 15,12, & 7. There were about 50 different activities and we all did them several times each because they were all so much fun. Would definitely recommend to anyone that asks for family friendly activities in Dallas!

My wife and I had an excellent experience at this museum. It was one of the most fun museums we have ever been to because it was so interactive. Ebony was very helpful in explaining the illusions to us both and her enthusiasm made our experience even more enjoyable. Plenty of great photo opportunities!!
