Stopped by the outdoor patio and enjoyed a bottle of Rose and a chartuerie platter and shared the grilled cheese on brioche. Rose was perfectly chilled and refreshing on the hot day. Charteurie platter has a good mix of meats with fresh crackers to pair...with it. Brioche grilled cheese was delicious! If you are going for lunch pairing that with a cup of soup would be a perfect combo!More

The outdoor patio is a charming space, and the heaters make it accessible even in 40 degree weather. The guitar player was a wonderful touch! The food was excellent - olive plate, prawns, and grits and sausage were all delicious. The drinks were a little...disappointing. The "Lily Loves Bees" was a tasty concoction with limoncello, but the cocktail special, "Fig Off" had very little flavor - certainly no discernable figs. We asked for a shot of Grand Marnier to fix it, but even that didn't make it palatable. At $12 a drink and $9 for the shot, this seemed like a poor deal. The bartender could have been more attentive - he didn't ask if we liked our drinks nor if we wanted a second one. Overall it was a pleasant lunch and I will give Preservation another chance, but I will probably go with wine since the cocktails didn't deliver.More

Dropped to kids off to make candles and went for lunch. A very quaint place indoors as it was raining outside. We ordered wine and started with the prawn skewers (tasty and large, could have ate a bowl full) Glad we didn't as we had...the cubano and pulled pork sandwiches. Great tasty meal! Service was great and had a discussion with the owner who gave us an impromptu tour of the place. When we come again this will be one of the first stops!More

Nice patio but so overpriced and limited menu. 2 glasses of wine one steak skewer and one mushroom tart ... all average... $67 We left hungry but nothing else on menu sounded good so we cut our losses. won’t be back.

My nephew and I went to have lunch. i ordered a margarita. I told the waitress that it was too sour and that it needed triple sec or Grand Marnier. She said that that would be 6 dollars. What? Thats part of the margarita. She...said to add some sugar syrup. I beg your pardon. i didnt even taste the tequila. I think they need to learn to make margaritas. I did not drink the margarita. I ordered the shrimp and grits. it was more like soup and the shrimp were not completely cooked. Flavorless dish. my nephew had the pork tacos. Nothing but fat. the waitress never picked up empty glasses including the margarita that I was not drinking. To me this place is overrated, nice ambience outside but prices, mixed drinks and food needs to change. You can always go to the Burger Local in the corner. Awesome food and awesome margaritas. Will I be back, I don't think so.More

It was a Friday night, perfect weather for sitting outside. I made a reservation for 2 for outside. We were marched to a table INSIDE right next to the front door. No thanks. I had to chase the hostess back to the alley and say,..."I don't want to sit inside, I made the reservation for outside." Green tank top with a brunette ponytail snapped at me saying, "We don't have tables outside!!" Well, then I'm not staying here. The nice girl standing next to her said, "Oh yes, we do have a table". Great! We were seated at a table for 6 which was weird since it was so busy. Green tank top stormed over right after the came, then chastised us because it was only 2 of us and the reservation was for 4. NO, again, I made a reservation for TWO OUTSIDE. So she made us move then said she was going to comp my friend's asparagus, which she didn't. Our server was also rude! Didn't refill water and was slow to get a second drink. It was like we were bothering her. They were also quick to try and clear our plates even though we were still eating. I work hard for my money. When I go out I want to relax and have a nice time, no be annoyed or angered. The food tasted good, but was not freshly prepared. The sauce on the plate had that sitting out film over the top. I've been here before COVID, but don't remember the service being this terrible. I was sorry I didn't tip lower.More

Preservation became a go-to place during Covid. Even during the winter you can eat outside. Food is delicious, beer list is pretty good and the live entertainment is varied and good. A lot of times we end up eating at the bar because the wait...for a table is typically long.More

This spot has both an indoor and outdoor seating area. Outside is a great casual atmosphere with live music almost every night. Good food and the drinks are top notch. Get the Local Fashioned. Great local version of an old fashioned.

Smallish cute tapas-style restaurant with outside seating. Food was really good & flavorful. We chose to order several items and shared them with our party of 9. The servers were nice and efficient.

We always get a Cheese Platter and the Duck Salad. Both are so fresh and delicious. The service is welcoming and professional. We like many other items as well and have tried most. You cannot go wrong with any choice. The heated bar and outdoor...patio are a huge plus...even when it's really cold out.More

After reading the reviews, I decided to try this place. We arrived at around 4pm and when we walked in, there were only two tables being occupied. The man at the door with a chef shirt on, said, "do you have reservations?" "No" I replied...and he then walked to a table put the menus on it, and walked away. When we were seated, we looked over the menu for at least 20 minutes before the waitress approached us-meanwhile the guy at the door kept pacing back and forth past our table and slightly rearranging chairs, the tables, and peeking out the window. I was so annoyed that he wouldn't take our order or even the waitress! There were only TWO other tables occupied with a total of 6 people. In any case, we were ready to walk out and a server appeared. We ordered a chicken pot pie and a BBQ pork sandwich. Strangely, after about 5 mins, the chicken pot pie arrived and it had been clearly microwaved. It was mediocre at best. The pork sandwich was swimming in sauce so we left most of it on the plate. We then sat uncomfortably waiting for the bill (the guy was STILL pacing next to our table, and kept peeking out the window blinds. Our server did not check on us, the whole time, so we anxiously waited for our bill for at least 15-20 mins...we just wanted to get the heck out of there!!!! When we left, the nervous, rude guy at the door never said "thank you for coming", "how was the meal", etc. He just seemed annoyed that we were alive. Honestly I will never go back...easily one of the worst experiences I have ever had.More

Those bi-monthly wine dinners that the restaurant has used to be my favorite meal of the month. Lately they have been uninspired and unimaginative. They must have lost their chef because I haven't seen him in awhile. The brunch had a piece of french toast?...This is supposed to be cutting edge? I hope they work on improving these because like I said, I used to look forward to these meals.More

We would go to this place often. With so many new places to eat we have not been back for several months. They have taken so many great dishes off their menu. The food was not that good. The bread was so hard and the...shrimp was limp. Their back room were we seated was cold, dark and dirty. Will not be back.More
