Spencer Hastings - Troian Bellisario
Troian Bellisario plays one of the group of friends, Spencer Hastings, who is known for being a perfectionist.
She comes from a wealthy background and is the biggest overachiever of the group.
Bellisario has also had starring roles in films like Consent and Clara.
Hanna Marin - Ashley Benson
Hanna Marin is first introduced as a formerly bullied student who has gone on to become the most popular girl in school.
Benson has starred in several films, including Bring It On: In It to Win It, Spring Breakers and Her Smell.

Aria Montgomery - Lucy Hale
Lucy Hale plays Aria Montgomery who is a happy-go-lucky student who begins a relationship with her teacher.
Hale has also appeared in Life Sentence, Sorority Wars and as the titular character in Katy Keene.
Ezra Fitz - Ian Harding
Ezra Fitz is the teacher who Aria falls for in the first season of the show.
He is played by actor Ian Harding who viewers might recognise from Ford v Ferrari, Chicago Med and Flip the Script.

Ella Montgomery - Holly Marie Combs
Holly Marie Combs plays Ella Montgomery, who is Aria’s mother in the show.
Combs is probably most recognisable as Piper Halliwell in Charmed but has also starred as Kimberley Brock in Picket Fences.
Emily Fields - Shay Mitchell
Shay Mitchell plays Emily Fields, who is described as the sporty one in her group of friends.
Aside from Pretty Little Liars, Mitchell is most recognisable for playing Peach Salinger in the Netflix show You.
