- traveler2905SE Wisconsin22 contributionsLoved this beach the most. There was a manned gate to pay for parking (no cash). Once parked, visitors could walk the boardwalk to the beach or take a ride on the complimentary shuttle (7 passenger golf cart/tram). The boardwalk was lovely with the growth of natural habitat along the way. The beach offered bathrooms and an outdoor bar/restaurant, Rhodes End. The restaurant offered salads, sandwiches, gyros and more. While priced on the high side, the portion was quite large; we split a sandwich and fries. It was very good. The beach was great. People were friendly and respectful of space. We saw a turtle meandering through the crowd and a bunch of dolphins.Written February 19, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Vacation368800104632 contributionsSuch an amazing place! A must do for those who enjoy nature and the company of birds. Staff are all volunteers, very friendly and happy to answer questions. Strictly donation based. Don’t forget to wear bug spray and bring plenty of blueberries and unsalted almonds as treats. We will definitely visit again!Written March 8, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- podrozniczka60New Jersey14,845 contributionsWe come to visit the Third Street each time we visit Naples but the experience during the holiday season is unbeatable. The street is filled with lights and beautifully decorated, the businesses are often open late and the displays are gorgeous. In the evening the restaurants are packed with diners and often with music. At 7 PM on weekends bubble machines produce lovely illusion of snow - enthusiastically received by the visitors of all ages.
It is recipe for a beautiful evening experience of the holiday season.Written December 27, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Georgi Y3 contributionsWe visited Naples with my spouse (both 48 years old) and another couple in their 60. It's a bit bored but was nice to leave Chicago during the winter. Unfortunately, was way too cold for us during that time of the year. The temperature was 52-55 in the morning and 65-67 during the days with wind. We didn't have a chance to go to the beach. We visited downtown Naples, couple coffee shops and outdoor malls. It wasn't bad for 3-4 days, but a week would be too much.Written February 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - DEBSrockportRockport, MA180 contributionsDecided to try this 2.5 mile bike/walking path in Naples and glad we did! During the week on a beautiful March day there were only a handful of cars parked in the lots. The trails are a combination of wide paved paths and boardwalks. Mostly level. We rode small portable e-bikes and it was a blast! We encountered a good-sized Gopher Tortoise and found a pond full of egrets, wood storks and other birds. Ended up by the Naples Airport and beyond that, Baker Park. The path goes over the Gordon River. There are shaded rest spots with benches. Rest rooms. Easy to get to from I-75.Written March 30, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- garrett e1 contributionFun combined with solid doctrine. Pastor Gene, Pastor James and Pastor Mike messages are right on. The Word is combined with a fun, humorous, family atmosphere. What sets it apart from most churches is the sense of community that is felt. It is another reason to appreciate life in Naples and in living an abundant life in Christ. We call it “Jimmy Buffet Church! Prayers for Pastor Gene.Written March 3, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Carla BellFalkirk3 contributionsWe came upon this museum ass it was close to where we were staying. Although it is small it is full of interesting exhibits and information. We loved looking at all the old photos. The best part for us was the rail carriages outside. The caboose provided an authentic insight and the the Bar carriage was beautifully restored.
This museum offers an enjoyable couple of hours for any age of rail enthusiast or fan.Written July 16, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
