There are also many things to see around the town such as Cathedral, iron bridge, museums, etc. From there, you can have a stroll along the river. You won't regret when you hang out by the river

Very populated and beautiful area. Absolutely stunning architecture and great for pictures. You can find an assortment of restaurants and shops here. Along with the new architecture and painted buildings there are also huge historical castle-like buildings that we found while touring around the area. Going through the alleys also caught some good pictures.

Frankfurt old town center is very beautiful and lively. It is a must-see to anyone visiting Frankfurt. They had some sort of festival going on while we were in town visiting which made it even more exciting. A lot of great restaurants as well as shops and more. Don’t skip this while visiting Frankfurt!

I don't know why but every time i visit Frankfurt i feel the need to come here even though i have been there many times. Love the feel and the look of the old ways i guess. I always feel comfortable here and enjoy the surrounding areas and local food and beverage places. yes definitely tourist central here but its fun to visit it regardless of crowds. Beautiful place! A must visit in Germany. I went with my family, including my mom who is more than 65 yo, it was a good experience for her too. Great to try a delicious glühwein, some typical and authentic German “street” food, or just to walk around. We went around 4pm and there were almost no people, around 5:30 (when it was dark) there were more people, with a good reason: the magic of the market can be experienced more at night. Majority of people were using face mask, and all stalls were very compliant with the pandemic regulations.

Very lively and dynamic place. Absolutely beautiful in terms of the juxtaposing of old and new architecture. The museum within is also a beautifully done piece of architecture wedged between old structures. We were there on a holiday so all the shops were closed and yet, the area was full of people/ visitors/ street performers. Loved it.

Loved the beautiful houses with their red and brown contrast coloring. The square was busy and there had been an event in the area, with scaffolding and trucks blocking some pics. Lovely eateries in close proximity. Many places cash only-check before you order.

The Römerg in Frankfurt has been lovingly restored and is beautiful. It's lively and sometimes it can be busy, but it's so much fun. In such a compact area, there is much to see and do. There's a couple of important museums and historical churches. One must definitely visit

Great medieval square, reconstructed as the original one. You feel in a fairy tale. Nice with the lights at night too, and with the Xmas tree. A couple of good traditional German restaurants in the square.

The place is very alive, especially on holiday season. It's a bit crowded but it's okay there are many shops. Many varieties of food and snacks, of course Germans best sausages is here as well. There are lots of shopsto buy souvenir and it's all in a fair price. I do recommend that you bring cash because most of the shops prefer it as they can operate much faster to accommodate loads of people . I love the overall experience , people are happy, children's are laughing. Friends of all ages drinks either on the pub or just in the stall outside. Very cheerful people . Loved it. Hope to spend the holiday season again here.

Beautiful historic square with plenty of tourist shops and statues to get photos of. There was also an old Lutheran church with interesting facts about its own history and really marvelous acoustics.

It was a pretty beautiful place with some great looking buildings but other than those all the other buildings looked like pale and boring cement boxes . Also there were very few food options in the surrounding area .

Incredible place with great view for all of the city. Visited it during the day and the night and was impressed. Obviously it’s crowded. So keep in mind.

Short walk from Fountain of Justice and pleasant stroll across the bridge and along the river. Nice views of the surrounding city.

Love the vibe of the entire riverside! The bridge gives a beautiful view of the river Main and the city around. There are benches and clean grass on both sides of the river, a perfect place to hangout with family and friends.

The love lock bridge has to be one of the most romantic spots after sunset here in Frankfurt - though I have read how such tons and tons of locks being placed on bridges around the world actually pose a real risk to the bridge. What’s more interesting is the sight of the city from both sides of the bridge and the cruises on river Rhine - a sight to behold to round up the tour in Frankfurt.

From here you have beautiful views of the city and Main river. Generally, the city is nice, exciting and cosmopolitian however you can see negative images at area of the Central Station: homeless poeple, idle immigrants, drunkers...

The Love Lock Bridge-----must see across the Main river. Smaller foot bridge with locks lining both sides of the bridge. Locks which supposedly symbolize " everlasting" love. Beautiful views of downtown Frankfurt from this bridge. Easy access from both sides of the bridges to river walks along both sides of the Main River. Selfie spot for sure.

Nice to walk on during the night to see the city lights over the water. Nothing much to do around though but good to visit for a short stay. Looks good for pictures and photography. Theres also a lift to go up.

The Iron bridge is a must visit for anyone who visits Frankfurt. It is the oldest bridge in Frankfurt and c onnects Frankfurt to the Sachsenhausen area of Frankfurt. An important piece of Frankfurt history. From the bridge one can get panoramic views of the Frankfurt skyline and also amazing pictures with the Frankfurt skyline in the background. Under the bridge flows the Main river and after crossing the bridge one can enjoy a relaxing time at the river Main shore.

Whenever we have guests, we take them to the Römer/Dom in Frankfurt AM then to the Eiserneg Steg or Iron Footbridge on the River Main. This bridge gives you a view to some ofvthe skyscrapers in Frankfurt. Then at the other side of the river, we have snacks on one of the two restaurants offering lovely views to the city.

Church dedicated to St. Paul and also a very important building for various political events. Nothing spectacular, but still nice.

Interesting architecture since it doesn't follow the typical cross shape of a church. Inside there's an exhibition on German political history around 1848 when a parliament was formed. All in all there were some interesting bits but it was a bit long winded for such a specific topic. As always that depends on personal preference as well of course. Other than the interesting architecture and the exhibition there isn't anything spectacular.

The historic building and square are worth seeing. It is said to be more magnificent with the evening lighting, but we went during the day. Who knows, maybe we'll visit again another time for a theatre, play or opera. The building is magnificent and stands so magnificently in the square it is in, especially at night they are so illuminated that you can sit and watch for hours. It's a beautiful building near Goethe Platz, but you can't compare even normal houses when they're beautiful. It has a nice area for photo taking.

As a composer of classical music, I‘ve visited the place countless times over the past 7 years. The architecture of the building is beautiful. Both on the inside and outside. The surrounding area is kind of a mixed bag, though. Throughout the day it’s mostly crowded with tourist. I don’t like that at all. That’s why I only visit the place in the afternoon, when all the tourists go to bed and the concerts begin. I can understand that tourists want to take pictures of the place but many of the folks that crowd the area are just loitering teens aka locals. Can’t relate.

Lovely atmosphere, delicious cuisine and the staff are amazing!

This was one of the landmarks of my personal trip to city Frankfurt am Main and when I saw it from the Main Tower, my determination is quite positive to walk there to create my photo memory (because it looked like there was an event on that day?). Due to time constraint, I did not enter this theater yet it's quite fresh to me to see a local group activity at plaza in front of Alte Oper Frankfurt.

There is really nice place . If u re tourist in frankfurt I recommend. Also you can spend time near the building. It is really nice to drink and eat something at the square. Guided tours are free but must be requested. Impressive office building near the river. A former fruit and vegetable market is part of the building. There is a visitors center and Holocaust memorial on-site.

ECB printing money and destroying Europe! Very bad user experience and should be immediately dismantled. People who work should be put in prison.

A large green-space in the middle of the city, well wooded, plenty of top quality paths, play areas for kids and a modern public convenience. A café too can be found near to the Korean houses.

Amazing! It's simply one of the most pleasant Parks in Frankfurt next to the Palmengarten. If the weather is good you can come and relax in the grass with some friends after riding a bike. It's a lovely place mainly when the flowers are blooming. I recommend it.

Must visit park in the heart of Frankfurt. There are two play areas for kids to play. Also adults can walk around for a long time. It's a huge park, maybe second in size only to Niddapark in Frankfurt. I'd definitely go again.

This is one of biggest park in Frankfurt West.. the Running trails are pretty good and ideal for Morning or evening jogs.. Kids play area is also decent.

Plenty of trees and shade in the summer, and a water fountain in the middle kids can play in. Can get crowded at the weekends around that fountain but they have an area in the back for skateboarding. And an open cabin area with table tennis. All in all, a perfect spot in N-I for the kids. And it's free!

It used to be a very nice park and playground in the woods. But this is like 20 years ago. Nowadays there are almost no children there and the place really needs a restoration.

Very beautiful green space in Neu Isenburg. One negative point merely because the bathrooms were not opened when we went there on a Wednesday afternoon.

The recently rebuilt Old Town of Frankfurt was recreated beautifully. The buildings in the medieval style were so well rebuilt that it is hard to dustinguish them from the originals. With modern gabled roofed buildings are smoothly integrated into the ensemble, making the place cozy and friendly. The entire area gives the visitor a sense of what the town must have looked like before WWII even though certain adjustments had to be made due to fire regulations and the lack of photos of the original buildings. Now you can stroll through the streets and visit the many shops. If you like to find out more about the area, you can book a tour at the visitor centre in Römer (The City Hall)

It’s probably one of the more colourful town to visit in Frankfurt , it has many interesting little restaurants and cafes dotted for a chill out session. I enjoyed the small little town that it offered , good for a day’s visit. There was a river cruise near by that is inexpensive to take .

Small area with nice architecture and cafes and restaurants which mainly caters to visitors and tourists but worth a short visit and walk thru. Shouldn’t take more than 1-2 hours.

New Old Town is the small district that was reconstructed according to the original plans. It has a fountain, restaurants and a mixture of classical and modern buildings around. Many reviewers here have posted photos of Römerberg with half-timbered houses, which is not this location.

I had a layover of 8 hours and decided to visit the city. It's very beautiful, but no shops were open due to being weekend.

Very dry grass, not green like I’m used to seeing at parks. Play equipment needed some repairs. The climbing thing (jungle gym.) for kids was nice, swings were cool too. All being used. 😦 pretty clean. Felt safe. Wasn’t too exciting.

The hotel is in need of renovations as some other comments have already mentioned. Nonetheless the rooms are great for the price, the location is amazing and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

Good Rooms but little bit congested passage on floors.

We stayed with a large group at Hotel Primus and we couldn’t have chosen a better place. From the very start, Tony the manager was really helpful - waiting for us to arrive even though it was very late, and then doing all sorts of favours for us throughout the week, like booking us into restaurants in the evenings. He was always warm and relaxed and made us feel welcome. Natalie was also great every morning at breakfast, ensuring those of us with dietary requirements were catered for and going above and beyond to prepare a very early breakfast for us on the final day. If we visit Frankfurt again, we’ll definitely choose Hotel Primus.

Ok-ish for a weekend trip if you want to spend most of your time in the city, not in a hotel. It's clean but you can see it's not been renovated for a while now. The room was pretty neat, incl. bathroom. Of some amenities, the safe in our room wasn't working, and you need to get someone working there to open it for you anyways. It would be nice to provide at least some water for guests. The location is great, 5 mins from the S-Bahn and tram station, 5 mins from the river and a city-center viewing point. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby, which is also a minus since it gets really loud in the evening. On a plus the personnel was really kind and helpful :)

An OK hotel, clean and in a good location. The hotel is in serious need of a refurbishment. The room (the whole hotel for that matter) is old fashioned looking, with no A/C. The rooms have poor soundproofing as we were able to hear the entire conversation of our next door neighbour. Not very good value. Has a car park though.

Walking distance to the center of Frankfurt. Good service and clean basic rooms. But sound isolation is rather bad - both noise from outside and neighborsing rooms can be disturbing.

If you are up for short walks within the city, in alternating sun and shades, this is one of the parks where you can go. Even if there are lots of people in tyhe park, it's open grounds doesn't makes it feel crowded. There are very limited number of benches in the park, however lots of ground with green grass where you can spread your picnic mat and relax. You can also play outdoor games for entertainment. In one corner of the park, there is small play area for small children with some slides and swings. There is also a sand pit for kids. At the same place, there are two half basket ball courts, a small enclosed football ground and couple of Table Tennis boards.

The Güntersburgpark is one of frankfurts most used and loved city parks. Often referred to as the "green lungs" of frankfurt, it is well loved by the residents of Bornheim. On a summer's evening you can sit in the parks only little Caffè s garden and watch the public ballroom dancing while th kids play on the nearby well maintained playground. There is also a lively boules community that can be found most nights hurling their balls around.

Open ground with tracks for joggers. Wooden benches are there at regular intervals for people to sit and enjoy. There's a cafe near the children's park and an allocated area is there where simple equipment is available for stretching and exercises.

1. I like to walk the circumference of the park to cover my daily target of 5000 steps. 2. Dogs are not allowed in the park. 3. Kids play area has limited play items. 4. Good to have the park in the heart of the city. 5. U bhan and tram stops are within 10min of the park.

This is a great place to hang out with friends and family. There are a few playgrounds and a water park that will appeal to kids of all ages as well as plenty of areas for picnicking or sunbathing.

A standard park in Frankfurt City. Nothing particularly good or bad. On the plus side, you have free public toilets in the park and there is a sports area. You may also find some squirrels. A limited number of parking lots exists at the side of the park. It's also fairly easy to reach by public transit. If you're looking for a relaxing place for a family picnic, the park is a good choice. If you're looking for the vibrant life of the metropolis, there are other places, e.g., at the banks of the Main river.

Small, but very interesting park, with great views of Frankfurt skyline. There is a parking lot, unfortunately not very big, so plan to coke early with a car. After 13h parking can be a problem over weekends. There are 2 restaurants where you can get food and drinks, and one playground.

Great little park at the edge of Frankfurt. You get to overlook the city skyline and the sunset is great. Good connections by bus but you have to walk about 10 minutes up a steep hill.

Inside the main park is another small park featuring beautiful asian style architecture. Eventhough it is very small, the park features a koi pond, a waterfall and a bamboo garden. The whole area is clean and maintained, with a very nice vibe to it. A perfect place to visit when you want to take a break from the city.

Beautiful park to relax with your loved ones. It’s got a nice Chinese garden as well, to roam around. All in all a great place to spend an evening in Frankfurt! I went to this place after a heavy snowfall in the month of January!! It was picturesque and I ended up taking so many pictures in the snow ❄️

This place was a oaz of fresh air at the middle of the city. Beautifully made and decorated, it gives you peace. Is winter so it doesn't look so nice now but still worth it to visit. Naturally free entry, there is also a place to picnic.

When the weather is nice, it is a good place for walking and having a chat with your friends or family. The big chess board is interesting. If you go inside the park, you can also see some carps in the pond.

There is a Chinese garden within this small park. I saw a few people drawing and sketching the different aspects of the pond, plants, green paths, gazebo, pagoda, etc. The environment was quite aesthetic and offered opportunities for people to learn and appreciate Chinese building structures.

After 10 months I live in Rhein Main area, I just found out this chinese garden in Frankfurt. It feels like you are in China, a lot of bamboo trees, chinese buildings, and there is a pond with fish as well. It is recommended to visit for people who visit Frankfurt. We can find giant chess as well that you can play in the area. Luckily, there was a chinese cultural event when I arrived, it gave more chinese vibes to the garden.

Wonderful place ..lots of greenery. The Chinese garden has an awesome pathway amidst trees and rocky terrain. There is a small lake which is a home for many colourful 🐟 ... The outer garden has walking and jogging tracks. Lots of benches to sit and relax amidst nature.

Took a walk on the hike and bike trail at Rothschildpark on a chilly day in February 2023. It's a small well maintained city park and not too far from Alte Oper Frankfurt.

Sometimes you need silence and relaxation under the shadows of the trees, enjoying the little rabbits that eat grass and play. This place is one of them and they have also a play-area for kids.

Not much to do, but nice to walk around! Good wildlife along the river, we saw a heron, many frogs, and even an otter! There's a cafe at the site. Museum was closed when I was there

Great place to relax with your kids . Specially if they bring a bike,scooter or skate. Bring your own food and drink though as there is only one restaurant and sometimes is closed .

The place offers a good variety of dishes at a normal price, beginning with nice soups from around 4€ and Flammkuchen for 7€. Some people complain because of the service, but the thing is that due to the amount of people, new customers enter and sits in free seats in occupied tables, this makes it difficult for the service to keep an eye on everyone. There is free parking and the place is worth a visit, the runway is perfect for walking or biking when the weather is nice.

Beautiful spot. Unfortunately surrounded by the Autobahn and agricultural land. Need to preserve more of nature. Also why are dogs allowed? Bikes too are free to go through while you walk .. Nature preserve !!

This park nicely splits the neighboring residential areas and provides a huge area to spend quality time. Good for doing a run next to the river, doing other kinds of sports, playing on the playground with the kids or just to take in the fresh air. Shops and buffets nearby. It may get busy and the people with bikes may be a bit annoying, but all in all it's a good place to relax. It's especially special if you live nearby and want to be more in the green.

My baby loves the little pool with with low water. The place is seriously crowded during the weekends (it's very difficult to find a parking). I give 4 stars because I enjoy joining the pool but I HATE the fact that you can pay only cash both for the entrance and both in every little food Kiosk/bar inside: it's 2023 guys. What about Epos terminals for credit cards?

Hello, very beautiful and old park, I visited this park in autumn and enjoyed walking in it.

Loved playing Chess with my Mom, and walking through the Rose Garden. 3 Stars because the bicycle people almost hit us, too many bicycling people, you have to watch out that they don't drive into you.

Not really well maintained park, but it's good for a sunny day walk.

Loved it,kids had a great time, pool clean ,changing rooms and toilets provided . Great day out for the family. Not expensive worth every penny. Shops on site to buy water and ice creams.
