Overview

Some events are avoidable. Some are not. There are undercurrents in the unfolding scenario of socio-political events and socio-cultural climes, which intertwine to render some disasters inevitable. 9/11 was one such disaster.
Even though I could see it coming I realize now there was nothing anyone could do to avoid it.
There were several reasons that made the disaster of that fateful morning inevitable.
As I began discussing my book with people, I realized most Americans did not want to know why nine-eleven happened.
Perhaps it is yet too early to tell people why, and then maybe it is time these reasons are told. In any case, I decided to put the book up. I trust it helps people all over the world understand better, why things happen in this world the way they do.
Written in a candid style, with a liberal sprinkling of humor where appropriate, the book would appeal to the layman and the scholar alike.

About the Author

Born Frank Luke, in the city of Vadodara in India, Franko Vadodrano has rubbed shoulders with extremists of various hues from different countries. Vadodrano feels not every extremist is a terrorist though every terrorist is an extremist. An electrical engineer by qualification and a Christian by belief, he freelances as a private tutor in his hometown - Vadodara. He has lived in the Middle East for a few years and in USA for 3 years. In the US, he moved from coast to coast, and discussed the issue of extremism/terrorism with people from different backgrounds from various countries.
A natural thinker, Vadodrano likes to delve deep into any matter and study it from the perspective of socio-cultural and psychological undercurrents. He has written and directed several plays. This is his first book.
Having had his life torn apart by forces beyond him, incarcerated in a prison in Southern California, with criminals from all parts of the world and tossed about by the storms of life, Vadodrano went from plenty to penury and beyond. When he surfaced a bit from the waves that all but drowned him, he penned this book. And he hopes you like it.
