Franklin D. Roosevelt High School Reviews
Rating 3.83 out of 5 276 reviews
Franklin D. Roosevelt High School is high school with a huge diverse population of students. At the first day of being at that school, I notices right away that it has diversity as I saw people who I thought are Chinese, Spanish and Russians. This eased my worries as I was afraid that I was going to be judge or being targeted for being Chinese. As time passed on, I started to get adjust to the school as many people, like the teachers and staff, are friendly towards you. Although there has been some cases of safety issues, the school take measure in order to make sure the students in the school are safe. Some teachers, that I know, also encourage student to attend college and even if they don't, they still encourage the students to finish their high school education, in hope to make their lives easier.
Franklin D Roosevelt High School is a very diverse school. Meaning that people from everywhere can attend and get opportunities and resources that can help them throughout their school years. There are teachers to help and always clubs to make sure students get involved and know about school activities.
I've only been studying at FDR high school for about an year but I feel I've gotten pretty involved in school activities and clubs and the people working there have been wonderful to hang out with. One thing I hope to see more of is the school's ability to help students with the betterment of their mental health with either bringing in more counselors with more orientation to student mental health, or maybe conducting some kind of workshop or training period for the counselors already working at the school.
