The NFL heads back to Germany for the final International Series game of the 2023 season. Last week, fans had to deal with awful weather on their way to and from the game while there were concerns about high-speed gusts having an impact. Let’s take a look at the Frankfurt weather forecast for the Germany game this week and whether it will have any impact on the fantasy football options in Week 10.
Frankfurt Weather Report for Indianapolis Colts vs. New England Patriots
- Temperature: High-40s
- Precipitation: <10% chance at kickoff
- Wind: 3 mph southeasterly with gusts up to 7 mph
The weather forecast is from the UK Met Office and is correct as of 3 p.m. ET on Saturday, Nov. 11.
Other than being a little bit cool in Frankfurt, the weather forecast looks like virtually perfect football weather. Clear skies and little wind should mean we see a good, clean game of football between the Indianapolis Colts and New England Patriots.

Additionally, we should state that the Waldstadion in Frankfurt has a retractable roof, so the worst of any adverse weather, in terms of rain or snow, could be kept off the field. However, the stadium does have open sections around the top, which could allow wind to get in and swirl beneath the roof. Yet, they saw gusts up to 30 mph last week in Frankfurt, and you would have hardly known it in the stadium itself.
Who Are The Main Fantasy Options in the NFL Germany Game?
Unlike last week, this game is not dripping in fantasy options. The biggest stars of this game could well be the running backs, with Jonathan Taylor, Zack Moss, Rhamondre Stevenson, and Ezekiel Elliott all being in play.
In PFN’s Consensus Fantasy Rankings for half-PPR scoring, Taylor is the RB6, Stevenson sits as RB18, Moss is RB30, and Elliott is RB38.
In a 12-team league, all four of those RBs could well be starting for fantasy managers, especially with three high-powered offenses (and the Los Angeles Rams) on a bye in Week 10. Those rankings feel spot on, with Taylor and Stevenson as virtual must-starts, Moss as a Flex option, and Elliott as a deeper league play.
Elsewhere, the pickings are slim. Josh Downs’ injury opens the door for a big game from Michael Pittman. Meanwhile, after losing Kendrick Bourne for the season, the Patriots’ WR situation is a mess. Demario Douglas is nursing an ankle issue, which makes it hard to trust the best fantasy option among that group. JuJu Smith-Schuster had a nice week last week, but he is a boom-or-bust play.
At QB, Gardner Minshew has a higher ceiling than Mac Jones. Minshew is never afraid to try and sling it around, but that can work both ways for fantasy managers if he makes mistakes. At tight end, it is really Hunter Henry or bust. None of the Colts offer a sustained enough option to be someone you can trust.
