If you're an art enthusiast and love artworks from the high renaissance era, then this place is for you. At the basement, it's a vast space for contemporary art. You can stay there the whole day and enjoy all the paintings. It's a pretty relaxing place. You won't get bored going around. 👌👌👌

Two logistics points: 1) There’s a great deal in the form of a 21 euro ticket, good for 30+ museums and two days. If it fits your schedule, it’s a great deal. Ask at the ticket desk to see the museums included. I bought the 16 euro single-day single-museum ticket and only then learned about the 21 euro version. Too late to exchange, as I was told. 2) The self service lockers will are big enough for most backpacks and jackets, though not suitcases (use the manned coat room right next to the lockers, also for free). Some lockers take only 1 euro coins, some take either 1 or 2 euro coins. You get the coin back when you unlock and leave.

It's a great museum. Very complete and has some beautiful pieces. It would be nice if they made the android audioguide for the Renoir exhibit available on android or through html5 on their website.

I have absolutely no talent in Art or know how to appreciate it but visited Stadel Museum as it was supposed to house works from the very best artists. I wandered around the building and was thoroughly impressed with the gorgeous building and also the large variety of beautiful works (of different categories) kept in pristine condition! Just amazing….

A very nice place with a huge art collection. Recommended for any art lover, with very detailed descriptions of the painting and the artist's life when creating works that go far into the past to the present day. The ticket price is 18 euros.

Stadel Museum in Frankfurt is a must for art and design enthusiasts. The interior is gorgeous and creates a perfect flow through the art pieces. From classical to contemporary, the selection is fantastic. I spent four hours there without realizing it. Highly recommended.

One of the best museums we ever visited, particularly because of the well written explanations provided next to the paintings. These were really special compared to other museums and provided valuable information to understand the painting, the story behind it and the background of the painter. Additionally, there's a free audioguide app (covering some of the most important works) with additional detail.

Many of the great classic painters have pieces here. Enjoyed walking through but some rooms were so stifling hot that it was hard to want to stop and take in the art.

An amazing discovery. This museum offers a wonderful walk through among art over 8 centuries of history from medieval art, through renaissance, modern art till contemporary one. A special highlight goes to the very interesting and cared temporary exhibitions. Very well organised as well regarding services, accessibility and didactic areas. Absolutely recommended

A wonderful art museum. The collection is not too big, but it's magnificent (there are works by Picasso, Monet, Renoir, Rembrandt, Van Gogh, Degas and so many more)! Add to that fact that it's not overcrowded, so you can take your time in admiring the work of arts spanning 7 centuries with leisure. I would say for sure a must-visit place in Frankfurt if you love art!

712/23: The museum was pleasant. It had many famous 🎨 🖼 artists' paintings as well as painters 🎨 I did not know. Pretty artwork. From the 1300s onward. It was worth a visit.

All parts of the museum is a definite visit. If you have a day to spare definitely come here. There is a variation of different types of art and it really is impressive. From Matisse to Pablo Picasso, this museum has everything.

The staff there were kind and welcoming. The museum's cleanliness was also quite commendable. Every exhibit and gallery was immaculately maintained, which added to the overall charm of the place.

Moderately well stocked with paintings and sculptures from old masters to modern. It's a pleasant round half a mile walk, and across the river from the main drag (Willy Brandt Platz). We spent the morning looking at the special Northern Renaissance exhibition, featuring Holbein (mainly the Older). Good amenities and lifts for me to get around. We spent some time (and money) in the bookshop, where we also had nice coffee and cake.

It is a great museum for everyone who likes prehistoric creatures and wants to know more about Earth early life evolution.

A very exciting place, especially for families with children. The museum is full of visuals with information that isn't too over the top. There are plenty of displays and specimens to take in and learn about. All information is in German, but there are some displays with information in English. It can get very packed on weekends. But otherwise it is an experience to experience while in Frankfurt.

Fun for adults and children, just don't wear warm clothes because most of the museum rooms don't have air conditioning. It is probably because of the wide array of fossils and models they have so no complaints there. 😃 Dinosaurs, reptiles, apes, whales, deep sea creatures... There's a lot to see here so prepare yourself for a nature lesson and a lot of fun. Get a Frankfurt card because you get half price off. 😎 The staff was nice and friendly and the place was clean. The food and beverage options felt pricey so don't plan on eating here. Are you still reading this? Just go!

One of the best places that I have ever been. It is awesome and it really takes time to see all of it, there is about three floors with a lot of different rooms that you can see skeletons, fossils, stones, stuffed animals and a lot more. The quality and quantity is both a lot and I really enjoyed it. I suggest going there and visiting all of the rooms so you don’t miss anything.

Nice museum, near to the city center, reachable with public transport. Very nice for children also. Buy tickets only to avoid waiting queue.

Amazing place! My family and I went here during winter season and there was a locker room to place your coats so you don't have to carry it around. There are many different exhibitions and they are all very interesting. We spent about 3+ hours here. The exhibitions are also interactive and very informative! There is also a bistro here that serves delicious food. Definitely recommend coming here if you are in Frankfurt!

Wonderful wonderful place. Went at noon on a weekday and it wasn’t too crowded. Lockers are available for a small deposits. Hundreds of exhibits like fossils, taxidermy, insects, birds, mammals, ocean life and geology. 3 levels in total and spent slightly more than 3 hrs there. There’s also a cafe and a souvenir shop.

One of those few attractions that are open on Mondays. Worth a visit. Entrance fee is 12 euros. A lot to see. For example Meet the Reef -special exhibition is interesting and well presented. Some exhibitions are also in English, but unfortunately not all. There is a nice bistro in the museum. The museum shop was closed at the time (in January 2023).

An evening event took place - in a very attractive location ie. Senckenberg Naturmuseum - as a part of Europe's top hematology hybrid Congress which was held in #Frankfurt 🇩🇪 from June 8-11, 2023. Congress featured a comprehensive program that encompasses all areas of hematology and allowed for networking with global experts. I was glad to be supporting EHA Team to make News stand out in media reports.

It is museum of various living things including dinosaur. You can enjoy whole day just look around exhibitions. I think child living near this place is lucky.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I just visited the Senckenberg Nature Museum and wow, what a place! The dinosaur skeletons are a major highlight – they're huge and so impressive. It's not every day you see something like that up close. Besides being fun, it's also really educational. I learned loads about earth's history and wildlife. The information is easy to understand, so you leave feeling smarter than when you arrived. The whole place is spacious, clean, and well laid out. Navigating through the exhibits was a breeze. Plus, the staff are friendly and seem to really know their stuff. Getting there was easy; If you're in Frankfurt and looking for something interesting to do, the Senckenberg Museum is definitely worth a visit. Loved every bit of it!

The museum has many objects to see. On the ground floor, you can see fossils of dinosaurs, reptiles, etc. On the first floor, you can see very large variety of mammals, amphibians, reptiles, and birds. On the second floor, there are insects, dioramas, coral reefs, and something abt deep sea. The museum is not that busy on weekday, so I can take my time and enjoy it (eventhough I only spent around 2,5 hours in this museum). Overall, it's a very recommended place to visit.

All good, interesting for kids and adults. It's not too small or too big, just the right size. We've spent 2.5 hours. Staff do speak english.

Must watch at Frankfurt. For nature enthusiasts and archeological students there's lot to learn. Vast collection of fossils, stuffed and models of endangered and extinct species of all kinds of living beings are displayed in a systematic way. Only drawback is that a very few displays have English description, or else we should have a German translator.

Amazing museum with lots of cool history to check out. Spent a couple of hours in here and it was worth the drive from Kaiserslautern.

A really great museum to visit. There are many different exhibits, not all are in English but the newer ones are. There are some nice chill out spaces if you are visiting with children.

We wanted to have some drinks on a Thursday’s evening. When we arrive, they told us with 2 doses you need to have a test. So we went outside to do test waiting 20 minutes outside for our results to enter the restaurant. When we came second time with our results, they told us we should have a reservation. We called and then the security told us we should order 30 euro per person minimum. So we went away… Seems they didn’t want us, like their guests. PS two stars just for Corona safety checks, otherwise one star.

MainTower Lounge offers a delightful escape with its friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, and stunning city vistas. A must-visit for those seeking relaxation and a picturesque setting.

I would give more than 5 stars if i could do. Everything is perfect. Very good service. Beautiful view. Amazing creative food. Very delicious. We reserved a table for 3 course dinner for our wedding anniversary last year and this year. The price is quiet expensive. But worth it. We want to go for fantastic dinner here to celebrate our wedding anniversary every year.

Since I live in Frankfurt (which is about 3 years) I've always wished to experience this amazing Panorama Restaurant, highlight of the city. I had luck, as I called only 10min before my arrival to book a table, and had luck to receive one (normally one needs to book days earlier, and sometimes weeks). Needless to say I was amazed with the beautiful panorama and the simple, yet sophisticated interior of the restaurant. Food was absolutely delicious. Some of the ingredients were complete new to me (as I usually stick to me personally known recepies). Every course was presented in details by the competent and very polite and professional waiter. Special thanks to the waiter Mr. Wilhelm (I hope I rememmber correctly) who made our experienced so pleasant. With regards to the price, I would not say it is expensive. The price suits the overall sensation (the spectacular view and meals) + location. Best Regards, Nevena

After revamping their menu and concept the food is even better than it used to be, whereas it was once excellent now it's phenomenal. It's an experience in itself to be served by the professional team, many special thanks to Mr. Willi.

Excellent lunch and excellent service. Prix Fixe menu with either two or three courses and two choices at each course. I did the three courses with a wine pairing with each course. Fabulous views at every table. Restaurant is on 53rd floor. Allow 5-10 minutes wait for security screening and elevator which is also taking tourists to 55th floor observation deck. They pay 7.50 each for that. No charge if going to restaurant.

Very nice restaurant and bar, friendly staff and ambiance. I i came here after finishing the main tower top floor. Drinks are of reasonable price and the seatings allow you to enjoy the view of the city from up high. I did not eat anything so cannot comment on the quality of the food, however where given truffle infused popcorn as a side to my beer and it tastes amazing.

Food was mostly good - appetizers and cocktails were very good, main courses were mediocre, desserts were many different things that were good but did nothing for each other. The service was both patronizing and charming. It was obvious the waitress thought we are not sophisticated enough for the restaurant because we didn't have a reservation and were not dressed. We found it mostly amusing, as the food was very old fashioned as in strong 80s influences in the presentation and mix of overpowering flavors. For example, the lobster bisque was more of a fish bouillon with strong saffron presence. It was good - but it has been a long time since I ate something like that. The lamb main dish was excellent; the veal was very boring, both the meat and the baked pasta that accompanied it. The sweetbread that made me order it was hardly noticeable. Fish was ok, no more and no less. The view compensates for almost everything and it was pleasant and fun. If you are willing to spend at least €80 per person before drinks you can do much worse.

Absolutely gorgeous. Literally gone for a long walk in the park. On a nice blue sky day 💙 makes perfect pictures. Worth the visit. 3 cafes but only 1 open. Boutique is small but lady is friendly. Takes card payments for transactions above €20, otherwise a €0.50 charge.

Its a beautiful place, loved the diversity of plants. Well maintained must go of you are a nature lover, you would love the walk through this whole place. They have specific sections for different regions on planet and they are climate controlled inside.

It's a big garden, and I highly recommend a visit. You can see different types of plants, from those in dry desert conditions to ones in humid jungles, all in one place. It's interesting to see how they take care of these plants. They offer student discounts too.

Nice diversion in Frankfurt. Beautiful park and nice plants. We went on a cool Saturday, 7€ entrance fee. The grounds were very nice, flowers blooming everywhere. Has several indoor spaces, greenhouses and other environments for the multitude of plants. Many beautiful butterflies in the butterfly house. It would be nice to return in a few weeks when the roses are blooming.

We were here in April,but I think it's would be even better to visit it in May, when all the trees will bloom. Anyway, great place to spend the whole day with your family or friends. Don't forget to take some snacks and drinks. You can relax on the beachbeds surrounding by the trees there.

It is a lovely botanical garden near the Frankfurt city center. You can take underground train and walk few minutes and you will be there. You can spend hours there. There are several planetarium. Inside you will find beautiful plants and seats to rest and take it all in. There is a natural history museum nearby also. Keep in mind some museums are closed on Mondays and or Tuesdays.

It’s a surprise and bonus to our 1 month Europe trip. We landed in Frankfurt, as a succulent lover, I always visit botanical gardens especially the ones with a good collection of succulents and cacti. This is abundantly and breath holding visit. Both the indoor and outdoor succulents and cactus, they also have some greenhouses not open to visitors, but you can definitely see the the glasses. Best collection so far! Of course their other gardens are also very well presented, love the carnivores collection. The palm one is so so. We were wondering why don’t they call it Frankfurt botanical gardens instead of palms en garden!

Absolutely beautiful, even in the rain. They have a huge assortment of non native trees and plants in their outdoor and indoor spaces. There are at least ten different greenhouses to explore and the ambiance is peaceful and serene ☘️🌵

Beautiful, scenic and informative is how you can best describe the gardens. Amazing place to go with the kids and spend the day. There are washrooms on site and they have a small shop for water and snacks. Would recommend packing a small picnic and having it by the Stone-head statue or next to the lake. There are nice restaurants here as well.

It's the perfect place in Frankfurt for anyone who wants to spend their weekends. The park is really well maintained and there are varieties of food and drinks one can enjoy . Occasionally there are live bands performing in the open space also. Had a great time there .

Beautiful location in the heart of Frankfurt. Lovely and fascinating garden with many buildings with flowers and plants from different parts of the world. If you are a student and have the Goethe-Card, the entrance is free! It is even good for picnic and check the website because you can find many programs like concert.

Really fun experience and tour of the Frankfurt palm gardens. There is an entry fee to get in, which can we bought in advance or on the spot - depending on the time of day, the line shouldn't be too long. The gardens are pretty vast, so it won't appear too packed. There's so many different things to see inside - plants, shrubs, trees, insects - both indoors and outdoors.

I went for an event about the plants and process of how tea is made. It was only available in German which I don't speak but with using my translator I was able to get the gist of what was being said. The gardens themselves were beautiful and many of the signs had English translation The garden stays open quite late but be sure to give yourself plenty of time to explore as it is a fairly large property with many rooms. They have orchids for sale during specific hours and the staff was very friendly. I didn't have time to check out everything but there is apparently a restaurant, mini putt and a play area...there are also many bathrooms throughout. A great place and a very reasonable entrance fee

Lovely place to visit on Sunday when mostly everything is closed. Flowers are starting to bloom as it’s spring season and they look absolutely beautiful 😍. So I can definitely recommend during blooming season!

We loved the whole experience, but the greatest was to come across with the Cocoa Tree, Palm Oil white & red exhibitions, The major Tee ceremonies in the world, The orchids, and the beautiful buildings themselves!

Good place to visit if you have time, and like plants/butterflies. It has descriptions in English and German, some cafes, a restaurant and a playground for the kids. Also a small pond with boats you can rent. Perfect for families.

Had a great visit for about an hour on a chilly Saturday November afternoon. The garden is close to transit and accessible. Many of the indoor / outdoor attractions are great and well worth the entry fee. My least favourite was the Palm House which I think can be skipped at together. There was very little colour there, mostly green and upkeep seemed to be an issue.

This place was so beautiful! I will definitely come back, there is so much to see that in 3 hours we didn’t manage! So many different plants and species and you can take really great photos. I guess in spring has to be the best time of the year for a visit at the PalmenGarten. There is also a nice cafe and the possibility to rent little boats 🛶 powered by foot.

Great place for anyone: for botanics (all sorts of exotic plants!), for gardeners (lots of new ideas!), for people searching calm and peace for a while. Big and impressive park with multiple flora, tropic and exotic. We were also fascinated by swans in the lake and gigant fish, following visitors :)

Romerberg is also called The New Old Town. It's located not far from the Frankfurt central main station. There are also many things to see around the town such as Cathedral, iron bridge, museums, etc. From there, you can have a stroll along the river. You won't regret when you hang out by the river

Very populated and beautiful area. Absolutely stunning architecture and great for pictures. You can find an assortment of restaurants and shops here. Along with the new architecture and painted buildings there are also huge historical castle-like buildings that we found while touring around the area. Going through the alleys also caught some good pictures.

Frankfurt old town center is very beautiful and lively. It is a must-see to anyone visiting Frankfurt. They had some sort of festival going on while we were in town visiting which made it even more exciting. A lot of great restaurants as well as shops and more. Don’t skip this while visiting Frankfurt!

I don't know why but every time i visit Frankfurt i feel the need to come here even though i have been there many times. Love the feel and the look of the old ways i guess. I always feel comfortable here and enjoy the surrounding areas and local food and beverage places. yes definitely tourist central here but its fun to visit it regardless of crowds. Worth checking out if you have time

Beautiful place! A must visit in Germany. I went with my family, including my mom who is more than 65 yo, it was a good experience for her too. Great to try a delicious glühwein, some typical and authentic German “street” food, or just to walk around. We went around 4pm and there were almost no people, around 5:30 (when it was dark) there were more people, with a good reason: the magic of the market can be experienced more at night. Majority of people were using face mask, and all stalls were very compliant with the pandemic regulations.

Set in the heart of Frankfurt's Old Town (Altstadt), the Römerberg is an irregularly shaped square with the Justice Fountain at its center. Not only is it Frankfurt's most picturesque public square, it's the city's busiest pedestrian zone and home to numerous tourist attractions and fun things to do, including Christmas markets and other events.

Very lively and dynamic place. Absolutely beautiful in terms of the juxtaposing of old and new architecture. The museum within is also a beautifully done piece of architecture wedged between old structures. We were there on a holiday so all the shops were closed and yet, the area was full of people/ visitors/ street performers. Loved it.

Very amazing views of the old town right here in the centre, between the historic buildings. A lot going on here, often small concerts or stages set up, plenty of people walking around, cafe's open. Very close to the Frankfurt cathedral and several other churches.

The heart of the old city. Historical buildings were rebuilt and it looks good. The square is big enough to have a quick walk and make great photos of local architecture.

This medieval town square right in the middle of Frankfurt, Germany is an absolute treasure to be able to see with your own eyes. All the buildings have been preserved and they have retained their outer beauty throughout the years. The simple beauty and the history behind these buildings make it a must see! Inside the square you'll find shops, bars, restaurants, a church, and even a hotel! If you're visiting Frankfurt, you definitely have to take a quick walk through here!

Loved the beautiful houses with their red and brown contrast coloring. The square was busy and there had been an event in the area, with scaffolding and trucks blocking some pics. Lovely eateries in close proximity. Many places cash only-check before you order.

The Römerg in Frankfurt has been lovingly restored and is beautiful. It's lively and sometimes it can be busy, but it's so much fun. In such a compact area, there is much to see and do. There's a couple of important museums and historical churches. One must definitely visit

Great medieval square, reconstructed as the original one. You feel in a fairy tale. Nice with the lights at night too, and with the Xmas tree. A couple of good traditional German restaurants in the square.

The place is very alive, especially on holiday season. It's a bit crowded but it's okay there are many shops. Many varieties of food and snacks, of course Germans best sausages is here as well. There are lots of shopsto buy souvenir and it's all in a fair price. I do recommend that you bring cash because most of the shops prefer it as they can operate much faster to accommodate loads of people . I love the overall experience , people are happy, children's are laughing. Friends of all ages drinks either on the pub or just in the stall outside. Very cheerful people . Loved it. Hope to spend the holiday season again here.

Beautiful historic square with plenty of tourist shops and statues to get photos of. There was also an old Lutheran church with interesting facts about its own history and really marvelous acoustics.

It was a pretty beautiful place with some great looking buildings but other than those all the other buildings looked like pale and boring cement boxes . Also there were very few food options in the surrounding area .

Definitely one of the spot to visit. So lucky to bump into the Christmas market in the area. Plenty of food and beverage at the market and the environment is lively. Easy access by public transport, walking distance to other nearby tourist spot and shopping district.

It's one of the best if not the best town squares I've ever visited in Germany. A lot of cafés around to sit around and enjoy the old town square in it's full glory. If you want to avoid the crowd, visit it early in the morning to click a beautiful panorama.

Suuuuper cute little city center, unfortunately most areas were blocked off since they were setting up for a Christmas market opening the day after we left the city. Still was able to see a lot, just not many clean pictures.

Its nice - the only thing to see in frankfurt really, although none of it’s original of course - the entire city burnt down during the war. I guess that’s why there’s about 5 tourists in the entire city. Anyways, if you are visiting there’s like 1 tourist shop and a few cafes to outside in. The little church is super plain inside and not really worth going in

A lovely market square and the most important landmark of Frankfurt. It has plenty of souvenir shops, cafes, restaurants and important historical monuments and structures to admire. It is a busy place on weekends with plenty of visitors. While you are there, you can visit the St. Nikolous church, History museum etc.

Stunning historical structures, main square of Frankfurt and city hall. It was too crowded when I visited there but you can take a tourist picture in front of the buildings, buy magnets etc.from souvenir shops and also grab a beer and walk the streets or lots of authentic cafes to stop by. There are also another charming old buildings like old opera and frankfurt cathedral nearby. It was such a great spot!

Perhaps it’s the most iconic spot of the city. A nice square between the Old Opera House and the Main river ferries. I go often bec of the eateries there. The many cafes are decent and one of them is my local friends’ favorite - they held their last three big one there - today we celebrated at their home with a dozen of close friends. … gone off the topic again Many couples got married at the old city hall.

Beautiful architecture inside and out. You can enter the church for free, recommended donation if you want to light a candle. If you want to climb the steps to the top, there’s a freestanding ticket booth outside the church on the side closest to the river (opposite side from the church entrance). Once you pay, there’s a small wooden door to the spiral steps and you’re in your way to an incredible view 300+ steps above the ground. Know that it’s a narrow spiral stone staircase most of the time. The outer wall has a metal handrail and the inner wall has a rope handrail that is pulled taut (close enough to the stone that my mom broke her nail on the stone wall while clutching it for dear life lol). Some sections have small windows and/or lights near the ceiling but the steps are still rather dark in most places so I used my phone’s flashlight the entire climb so we didn’t miss a step. If you come across other people going in the other direction, someone will have to stop because it is extremely narrow. At the top you can walk the perimeter of the tower. There’s fencing and I felt safe even with high winds, stone benches built into the tower, and small trash bins at the top. Happy climbing!

Make the most of your layover by taking an Uber to the old part of town and visiting this spectacular cathedral. Buy a ticket for a couple of euros and go up the tower for a 360 view of the city. (Believe me, if I can do it, you can definitely climb those many many stairs up to the very top) After the climb, it’s time to enter the cathedral. I found it to be the perfect blend of clean lines of the building which highlight the sculptures. Found the atmosphere inside to be peaceful and serene. Don’t miss the hidden chapel behind the quiet room. The small museum in the building is also worth a visit.

We were at the New Old Town and saw this cathedral from afar and it beckoned us so we made our way to it. The red stone looks really amazing in the light. We climbed up to the tower, all 350 steps. The way up can be quite narrow at some parts and can get rather claustrophobic. But, the view upstairs is beautiful andworth the climb!

An oldest Catholic Church in the center of the City Frankfurt. With a beautiful architecture so spacious and good ventilation. The Cathedral is the only building that survived from bombing attack in the second world War. The statues and the station of the cross and all the interior of the church is very beautiful. So refreshing and spiritually refreshing. A place worth visiting.

I thought that this was a reconstruction but it’s actually the real Cathedral of Frankfurt. It was spared during the WWII bombing. From the outside seems impressive, but once you get inside you will realize it’s actually smaller than you thought. Great visit!

If you are looking for a fantastic view of Frankfurt, make sure to visit the spire of the cathedral. It is quite a walk up there, but it is worth the effort. However, you won't be able to go to the very top. If you want to get that special view, you need to book a tour into the roof. On this tour they also take you to the very top of the spire where you will find a little museum and a view that very few people have seen. You will also get to see the Gloriana, the bell of the cathedral. With 11.950 kg it is a heavy-weight and you might even be allowed to hit it once (As I was allowed.) The tour is incredible, but it is only offered a few times a year and you have to book a long time in advance. Ask at the ticket counter.

Not the most beautiful or impressive cathedral in Europe, but well worth a visit. It certainly has one of the more interesting organs around, with the organ pipes being all-over. It is good that the dome is very regularly used for its intended cause, which however means that tourists need to time their visit well if they just want to have a look, without participating in a church service.

Amazing cathedral. There was a baptism going on when I was there. The organ was playing. How beautiful! I felt at peace inside. The sounds and the sites were glorious.

An absolute must if in Frankfurt. The architecture is truly amazing and will leave you open mouthed in awe. It's busy but you can still find a quiet place of contemplation and prayer. There are numerous beautiful alters, shrines, artworks and more. And the intricate ceilings are fantastic. It's really easy to find as it towers above old town. So you can't really miss it. Free entry for the main building. The viewpoint allows you to see the whole city and provides some truly astonishing views. It's only 3 euros to access but be warned there are hundreds of narrow stairs with and it's very difficult to cross paths with someone.

Absolutely amazing cathedral near the East side of the old town, you can see this amazing architecture from a few distance. No problem to get inside, however, may be dependant on time - there some areas tourists are not allowed in, so be wary.

Beautiful architectural and religious piece of art. Important to know that this site was the location where German kings used to be crowned. A large part of this cathedral and all surroundings was rebuilt after massive destruction during WW II, so I understand that not much of it remains in original state.

Definitely one of the top museums I've been to. A great concept and idea for the exhibitions, very well organized, a lot of highly valuable information and thought-provoking content, a lot of interactivity, a lot of samples, can't think of many things that they could have done better. Valuable for both long-time cinema fans and those who don't know much about it.

A fascinating place with great exhibits. The examples of early film technology were interesting and the information that explains how modern films are made was fantastic. We spend a good 2 hours going around, taking in all the facts and watching the film snippets. Highly recommended if you're looking for something to do in Frankfurt and you love movies.

This museum is really worth visiting. We spent 2 hours here but one can easilly spend more time as well.. :) I was so happy to see sketches from Snow White and Peter Pan. The video compillations they show are nicely illustrating how light, colours and editing express feelings.

Very interesting and interactive museum. Slightly leaning on the expensive side especially if one buys the combined ticket (€12 for adults). They also have a cinema that regularly screens not-so-mainstream movies at a price lower than commercial cinemas, which is worth checking out.

With very friendly staff, they will teach you a lot about what and how people constructed beautiful works of art from different materials. In the beautiful courtyard there is a cafe where you can enjoy cold drinks in an interesting environment. The entrance fee is 12 euros.

Incredible place with great view for all of the city. Visited it during the day and the night and was impressed. Obviously it’s crowded. So keep in mind.

Love the vibe of the entire riverside! The bridge gives a beautiful view of the river Main and the city around. There are benches and clean grass on both sides of the river, a perfect place to hangout with family and friends.

The love lock bridge has to be one of the most romantic spots after sunset here in Frankfurt - though I have read how such tons and tons of locks being placed on bridges around the world actually pose a real risk to the bridge. What’s more interesting is the sight of the city from both sides of the bridge and the cruises on river Rhine - a sight to behold to round up the tour in Frankfurt.

From here you have beautiful views of the city and Main river. Generally, the city is nice, exciting and cosmopolitian however you can see negative images at area of the Central Station: homeless poeple, idle immigrants, drunkers...

The Love Lock Bridge-----must see across the Main river. Smaller foot bridge with locks lining both sides of the bridge. Locks which supposedly symbolize " everlasting" love. Beautiful views of downtown Frankfurt from this bridge. Easy access from both sides of the bridges to river walks along both sides of the Main River. Selfie spot for sure.

Nice to walk on during the night to see the city lights over the water. Nothing much to do around though but good to visit for a short stay. Looks good for pictures and photography. Theres also a lift to go up.

The Iron bridge is a must visit for anyone who visits Frankfurt. It is the oldest bridge in Frankfurt and c onnects Frankfurt to the Sachsenhausen area of Frankfurt. An important piece of Frankfurt history. From the bridge one can get panoramic views of the Frankfurt skyline and also amazing pictures with the Frankfurt skyline in the background. Under the bridge flows the Main river and after crossing the bridge one can enjoy a relaxing time at the river Main shore.

Whenever we have guests, we take them to the Römer/Dom in Frankfurt AM then to the Eiserneg Steg or Iron Footbridge on the River Main. This bridge gives you a view to some ofvthe skyscrapers in Frankfurt. Then at the other side of the river, we have snacks on one of the two restaurants offering lovely views to the city.

I was a little skeptical at first, because I don't really enjoy theater's, but this one I really liked. The staff is super nice. The actor's are all very good at playing! The theatre itself is very cozy and welcoming, once you're inside. I can only say good things about this theatre! Really enjoyed the play as well! The atmosphere is insane! The actors and actresses do more than just a great job, they create an atmosphere in which it is really hard not to sing along and stand up to clap! 100% recommend!

I haven’t missed much on the programme of ET for the past 20+ years. Neither did my children as they grew up. We have wonderful memories of so many plays, we still recall and talk about them at times. I must have connected the leaders of such an institution with those positive memories, expecting kinder behaviour or a kind apology for situations caused by their mistakes and then worsened by their behaviour. Last season I bought a few online tickets and appeared timely in the theatre. In the first instance it appeared that my seat was booked twice. I moved to another available seat leaving mine to the family that wanted to be seated with their children. The second time the theatre was full, and I was asked to move to the first row since the seat was sold twice again. I mentioned to the young staff member that I do not prefer the first row and would like to stay in my seat this time. A nervous man appeared and before understanding the situation he reprimanded me loudly, in third person, that “people are not being cooperative here!” He then went on to shout directly at me very loudly “Sit down!” I didn’t want to hold the entire theatre from moving on, so I sat down instead of making my own scene. During the break I went up and asked to speak to the manager about the incident. I was told that the nervous man was indeed the manager himself. I thought he might have been nervous to get the play started timely and encouraged myself to be more understanding of the situation. Later that week I wrote an email to the manager about the incident and my discontent about his disrespectful reaction rather than offering an apology for having booked seats twice -this is what the airlines do at the least. He didn’t reply. His assistant wrote back instead, asking if I actually had a valid ticket at all. After I sent her the valid tickets, I have never heard back again from her or from the manager. Not even a simple apology that there must have been something wrong with the ticketing system, let alone about the manager’s behaviour. I work for large multinationals and always thought things were more civilized in the cultural scene.

We went there on a sunday to see Young Frankenstein and it was absolutely amazing! I can highly recommend. The Staff was friendly and answering all our question. The play was so funny and entertaining and we also enjoyed our glass of wine in the break.

I’ve seen all of the last plays and it was always amazing! The actors were super talented and because of its smaller size you feel directly involved into the play. It’s a must for all people who love the theater or just want to have a good evening with friends.

I'm speaking in particular about the play kinder transport. I was lucky enough to see this today and was blown away by the talented cast.The raw emotion was outstanding. Amazingly directed and written. Was left utterly speechless...A must see.

We went to see the performance of "Sister Act" at the English Theater. The actors and the production were just great! We had more fun than we have had in a long time. We were just thrilled! It's a shame that the theater still has to fight for survival like this. In any case, we will gladly come again!

Great theatre though the choice of productions in the last few years has been hit and miss in my humble opinion. Sister Act like which is on currently is great, despite an uninspiring set. Less good is the bar management - chaotic /disorganised- queue for interval drinks blocking way for people wanting to get to bar (and toilet). Would be easy to solve and make the pre-show experience less stressful (and more profitable for the theatre).

Saw "Kindertransport" play at this theater. I was absolutely impressed by what is archived at this small venue and the very reasonable price of the tickets. The show was amazing - great actors, awesome props and a very special experience.

I’m just soo glad that Frankfurt has this theatre! It is very important to have English speaking theatre in such international city. Enjoyed the play. I’ll definitely return next time.

What a treat to randomly stumble upon the English Theatre after our meal. We saw the Vanishing Room. It was a total joy to have actors right in front of us. They did an exceptional job.

We've just seen Now and Then. WOW! The script was really good with lots of twists, many funny moments and several poignant ones as well. The acting was wonderful. This theatre is a gem, and Frankfurt is lucky to have such jewel right in the heart of the city. I hope it gets to stay. Go early, have a drink and snack in the bar and pre order another for intermission. You'll be glad you did

Great theatre! Just watched SOMETHING ROTTEN with the entire family today and the play was a lot of fun for everyone and with a very talented cast. We will absolutely return to watch the next play. A must do in Frankfurt!

I watched a performance of Sweeny Todd. Outstanding performances from the whole cast and crew. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole show. The theatre itself is easily located and spotted from the street. The interior layout goes to the basement of the building with a bar on each of the two subfloor level to accommodate the balcony and general audiences. A dedicated coat check line leaving the theatre would have eased some confusion from the guests wondering why the line wasn't moving up the stairs. Otherwise the theatre was excellent and I would love to return for another show.

Something rotten is a fantastic amazing funny show , the cast are the finest you could wish to watch, very entertaining, costumes are brilliant, a hard working team have definitely put their heart and soul into the whole production so congratulations to all , a must see musical like no other, eggcellently a 5 Star production 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

A beautiful promenade near the river with several museums around, the cathedral is nearby, the old town, the bridges. Pretty much everything. You'll often see people enjoying their time here

Museumsufer is a tree laned avenue by the river and on the Museum Street. You can cycle, skateboard, jog by the river or just sit by the river and take in the view of the old city on the opposite bank.

Absolutely loved this experience. Museumsufer is not just one museum but it's a street with different museums on it. Each museum has a lot to offer. Weekends it's free but not sure if all of them are free on the weekends. Definitely a worthwhile trip to take if you're ever in Frankfurt

Wonderful scenery-lots to see, from old Churches to old Buildings, some small food stands are open for Public, everything else is closed due to Covid. Bring Jacket because it can get windy by the water.

Great experience. If i lived in the area, i would probably get all my groceries here. The produce all look so big and fresh! Prices were picket friendly too. And all the stall owners were very nice. Most of them speak english.

Nice market in downtown where I saw a lot of spices and other food to buy. I went pretty late in the afternoon and most of the stores were closed already. Maybe it will have a different vibe for the morning crowd. But food are amazing. There is a second floor of food stalls to try different food. Mainly fruits, meat and spice vendors in the afternoon.

Great food market to visit in Frankfurt! Lots of different food to explore from sausages, to curries and sushi. This combined with great cocktails and coffees and you have the perfect combination for a lunch. You can buy as well fresh meat, vegetables and bread. Recommended to visit when exploring Frankfurt.

This place is great for tourists as well. It's like a mini international market inside..sometimes the services in some stores are very stressed out😅 can't blame them when it's it too many people. Amazing small market, with restaurants, Cafes, snack bars. You also can eat from bakeries, butchers, selection is endless. Coffee was exceptional and fairly cheep.

It’s a very big indoor market that sells different types of canned, dried and prepared food to eat there, cakes, dried and fresh meat, fresh flowers and plants. It reminded me of Borough Market in London

A fun short excursion on food. 30m is probably sufficient. It’s stall after stall of discovery, from freshly baked breads to antipasto,it’s fun to see what’s around the corner. I would highly recommend the Tsironas stall. Arancini and hot focaccia sandwiches and all the antipasto bites… it’s great to grab a small bite or a massive bite whichever you want. The spinach pita - the filo wrap lends a light crunch to the creamy spinach filling, yum! The Pinocchio cheese shop just off the stairs smells amazing… olives, cheeses, salami… you would wish you had saved room to taste them all. Happy eating

Located at the heart of Frankfurt city centre. It takes about 15 minutes from Frankfurt Central Station to here. Actually the size of the market is not "small". You can find different varieties of food like German, Italian, Middle East or Asian food. There are also nice restaurants on the 2nd floor. If you like authentic and nice gourmet food, you must not miss this great place!

A place you have to visit when in Frankfurt. A great selection of fruit and vegetables, meat and fish and other specialty stores. There are also a few great restaurants and cafes to choose from.

Great market with lots of food options. I went early the first time (9 am) and lots of shops were still opening. 11am onward is best. Second time I went during lunch and it was great.

Lovely indoor market. So much variety. Great place to pick up fresh food or gourmet snacks as well as lunch. Appreciated the public bathrooms.

It has so many shops of small vendors. Offers great variety of spices, pulses and fresh veggies. Lot of Indian spices, herbs and grocery stuff can be found here.

This market was very interesting. There are fresh, cooked and fermented food being sold here. Some sellers are great and friendly and some downright rude. I loved going to the stall that sells olives, it had a really wide range of olives and I wish I could try them all, but I didn't because I knew i wasn't gonna buy olive home to Sg so I did not want to take advantage of the sellers' generous offer. Lots of small eateries located at the perimeter of the market hall. On the 2nd level, there are a few cafes selling food which looked and smelled really good. But I had a late breakfast so couldn't try anything there. Overall, Kleinmarkthalle is vibrant and interesting.

Definitely reccomend stopping by here for lunch or tapas, if your in the Frankfurt area. It's basically an indoor food market with restaurants upstairs, along with some cafes. Great for a stroll and enjoy the sun. Watch put for bikers a hurry: when you hear a ring, a bike is coming through. You can walk along both sides of the river and use one of the many bridges to cross the Main river. So you can make your walk as long as you want.

The location is great and the performers awesome! The seat rows are far too close, forcing everyone to get up to enable one to squeeze past in search for your seat and makes sitting for someone with long upper legs uncomfortable.

Great opera, building is a little spartanic but they have great service. Stagings are really interesting, some of the singers extremely good!

Madama Butterfly tonight. It was by far one of the finest visual things I’ve ever seen. Everyone working there was helpful and friendly.

Saw 3 opera on 3 successive nights . Tosca was great. Magic Flute was strange. The Maistersinger by Wagner was way too long with unnecessary additional bits. Orchestral and singing great at all three.

The building looks outside grey and dul. But inside is different world. The theater is well designed. View from mezanine 2 to stage is excelent. Good elevation from row to another. The stage it self is equipt with modern technic. As bonus there are subtitel system to help to follow the play. Enjoyable evening.

It was a nice light show, along with stories presented using projectors and lights. There were plenty of opportunity to take pictures and videos. The food stalls variety could have been more diverse. I purchased my tickets online and they gave instructions on how to get there. It was completely wrong. Our slot time to reach there was 1730 and we ended up getting there an hour late. The walking from S-Bahn was over 40 minutes. Their were several people looking for the Christmas market. Due to the lack of signs and information about how to reach there so much unnecessary time was consumed.

Great stadium, i have never been in such a big one. The waiting line for the events were long, We went to see monster jam and it was amazing. You could get drinks and food in multiple places in the stadium and there were also people who sold food or drinks in between the seating area for more convenience. Baby strollers are not allowed inside. You have to carry cash with you, because it costs 2 euros to leave them outside in a safe area.

Fun time seeing KC Chiefs play Miami Dolphins! Wish the seats folded up in the rows so that it would be easier to move past people. Overall good stadium. My view from end zone was good. Nice to have it covered to protect from the cold breeze.

It is a modern stadium with a truly unique bright basketball table in the center of the court. I have visited many stadiums in Europe and I rate this as very remarkable. What needs a lot of improvement is the surrounding area with the mud !!!

You will absolutely enjoy your time if you are visiting during the time of Christmas Garden setup. It is a beautiful place and a fun event for one evening. The light setup are really beautiful you will enjoy walking the trail lit up with beautiful lighted figure of angel, snowman biscuit, Santa.

Ik was hier voor een concert van Depeche Mode. Alles was goed geregeld en ik stond in het voorste vak dus had ook goed zicht. Het geluid was inder, het galmt. Zoals de meeste stadions. Er was een zeil boven het midden gespannen, zodat we gegarandeerd droogbleven maar daardoor was het wel warm in de arena. Gelukkig was er wel airco, maar drinken halen kon ik. Iet meer zonder mijn plekje kwijt te raken, dat was jammer. Voor het concert kwam er af en toe een jongen langs met drankjes, maar nadat de hoofdact was begonnen, niet meer. Na het concert had ik moeite de tramhalte terug te vinden, ik kwam aan een andere kant naar buiten gekomen. Went here for a Harry Styles concert great Stadium very well organized in terms of signs and direction. It is a long walk but manageable. Washrooms get full fast and there are huge line ups. However the place is pretty secured and security everywhere.

A pretty good modern(ish) stadium with some great views from the upper tier and a fantastic atmosphere. The gates to get into the stadium are chaotic with long lines but it moves fairly quickly. With an S- bahn Station close by and tram stops then getting to/from the stadium is also very good, although there are large crowds.

Good train connection from main station. Close to station . 5-6 minutes walking distance.

We've been there for a Depeche Mode concert (amazing 2h20). The way to the concert with S-Bahn S5/S9 direcion towards airport, stop at "Station", was easy-peasy. But if you have a ticket for the field, you'll have to walk half way around the 🏟. Well, there are food, drinks and promotion booths - and "honeybuckets" (ToiToi/Dixi). We were quite worried 😟 how to get away with 65.000 people at almost the same time. BUT, IT WAS PERFECTLY ORGANIZED! ❣️ There were 2 long trains 🚆 going every few minutes and a regional express in addition. Awesome 👌 👏

Went here for Guns n Roses. The facilities are really good, lots of food trucks all around the perimeter with a huge choice of food. Windows everywhere near the stairs to your seats selling drinks and small snacks. This means you are never far from what you need and never a long queue. People were leaving their seats and coming back in 2 minutes with a beer or bretzel. Lots of toilets everywhere, mens are fast but of course the classic long queue for the ladies. Prices for food and drink are more than normal of course but still cheaper than I would pay in UK. I used the Waldparkplatz and got on the 4th row, it cost 10 Euro. As I was fast after the concert I was soon in my car and could escape the car park with no queue.

Amazing feel! What a vibe of this place!! Although tickets are very tough to get, but if you get in, you will love the atmosphere. Although, Alliance Arena of Munich is bigger & extravagant.

Good place. Huge stadion with big capacity. The outside area was closed as it was NFL game not sure how it is during normal footbal games. Entrances were not crowded. There are many steps to cover when sitting on too. Big screen in the middle makes the smallest deails on the field visible also for you. Even thou the stadion has roof it is open structure and not very warm inside. Toiletts were clean, functional and not much queue. Food was tasty bit pricier but that was expected. Everywhere you can pay by card. Highly recommend.

It's a good park. You sit very close to the field. It's very clean and getting in is easy. Getting home on the other hand is a challenge 1) There is not enough taxis, and waiting in line for one turned chaotic as it turned into a free for all. I did make it back to my hotel after an adventure.

My first time here was stressful. I had to work around a lot to find where I was supposed to be for this friendly game between Germany and the Netherlands. However, the game was nice. I discovered the drink called Apler 😄. Attached is a map of the stadium. It shows how to navigate for example to where the parking lots are.

Looks like there isn't a bad seat in the house and the retractable "umbrella" roof is really cool. However, the rest of the stadium seems pretty dated. Small concourses, not enough bathrooms or concessions, no cup holders, very narrow aisles, etc. Reminded me of an NFL stadium from the 80s.

Our visit was for Oktoberfest 2 weeks ago. It was held in a giant tent in Frankfurt with long picnic tables. Both of our dinners were very disappointing, so I'd suggest eating something before arrival. On the upside, the servers were super busy but very good. The band was lively, enthusiastic, and played well-known songs, including American tunes. You can't beat the atmosphere. And just like you see in films, many were beautifully dressed up in traditional German clothes and some were dancing on the tables!

Part of the structure does not let you see and enjoy the show.

Messe Frankfurt… always worthy a visit. We are just back from Ambiente and Christmas World, two excellent trade shows. Very creative, cool and nice designs and ideas. If you are into decoration, this is the place to visit. Get inspired

Incredibly big fair! Should you visit all 12 exhibition halls you would need to 3 days minimum with 25000 steps every single day! Perfect for industry fairs just like Automechanika. Probably the best exhibition center in the world!

It is very huge and really good potential European and world buyers for sale of your items directly to B2C or B2B. But little bad in commutation at the time of ending times of fair. This should be little checked and controlled. Though Europe is not habitual of such kind of crowd handling. Otherwise a good fair place and other amenities within.

One of the largest exhibition and trade fair venues you can visit in Europe. It consists of several huge halls and other buildings that create a truly unique whole that could easily accommodate the world's largest events. If you have the opportunity to attend an event that takes place here, definitely take it.

Been here for the International auto show..during the years 2011, 2013 and 2017. It's a humongous place with large halls. One can get to the best in class auto models and technology put for display here. Love the shows put up by Merc and BMW....they are the show stoppers!

Venue is absolutely gigantic. It feels like a giant airport without the planes. Infrastructure is there for any imaginable fair, conference, exhibition. One day on my feet and I've done over 20000 steps. If possible take a push scooter, your feet will thank you.

HUGE went for the Christmas world and had an amazing time, if you don't like walking or have issues there are moving floors but still a lot of steps to be stepped.

The book fair was a great thing. It was overcrowded. Even though many of the exhibitors I was interested in were on their way home. For the next visit, I will visit the fair on the first day instead of the last. It should not be. I found it fascinating to see which people joined this event.

Amazing infrastructure inside the Fair. Recommend to everybody to see it. But unfortunately some arab protest block the access for few hours, before the police take action and restore the order. Such a shame for city like Frankfurt. I wont post picture's with the mess, but it was ugly sigh. Germany, going down i think.

Our company attends the Christmas fair,Christmas world . A great expo to attend to find new suppliers and meet with existing importers . Would recommend booking hotel early as accomodation gets extremely expensive, we always stay close to expo .

We reserved a table for 3 course dinner for our wedding anniversary last year and this year. The price is quiet expensive. But worth it. Since I live in Frankfurt (which is about 3 years) I've always wished to experience this amazing Panorama Restaurant, highlight of the city. I had luck, as I called only 10min before my arrival to book a table, and had luck to receive one (normally one needs to book days earlier, and sometimes weeks). Needless to say I was amazed with the beautiful panorama and the simple, yet sophisticated interior of the restaurant. Food was absolutely delicious. Some of the ingredients were complete new to me (as I usually stick to me personally known recepies). Every course was presented in details by the competent and very polite and professional waiter. Special thanks to the waiter Mr. Wilhelm (I hope I rememmber correctly) who made our experienced so pleasant. With regards to the price, I would not say it is expensive. After revamping their menu and concept the food is even better than it used to be, whereas it was once excellent now it's phenomenal. It's an experience in itself to be served by the professional team, many special thanks to Mr. Willi.

Excellent lunch and excellent service. Prix Fixe menu with either two or three courses and two choices at each course. I did the three courses with a wine pairing with each course. Fabulous views at every table. Restaurant is on 53rd floor. Allow 5-10 minutes wait for security screening and elevator which is also taking tourists to 55th floor observation deck. They pay 7.50 each for that. No charge if going to restaurant.

Very nice restaurant and bar, friendly staff and ambiance. I i came here after finishing the main tower top floor. Drinks are of reasonable price and the seatings allow you to enjoy the view of the city from up high. I did not eat anything so cannot comment on the quality of the food, however where given truffle infused popcorn as a side to my beer and it tastes amazing.

Food was mostly good - appetizers and cocktails were very good, main courses were mediocre, desserts were many different things that were good but did nothing for each other. The service was both patronizing and charming. It was obvious the waitress thought we are not sophisticated enough for the restaurant because we didn't have a reservation and were not dressed. We found it mostly amusing, as the food was very old fashioned as in strong 80s influences in the presentation and mix of overpowering flavors. For example, the lobster bisque was more of a fish bouillon with strong saffron presence. It was good - but it has been a long time since I ate something like that. The lamb main dish was excellent; the veal was very boring, both the meat and the baked pasta that accompanied it. The sweetbread that made me order it was hardly noticeable. Fish was ok, no more and no less. The view compensates for almost everything and it was pleasant and fun. If you are willing to spend at least €80 per person before drinks you can do much worse.

Visited Frankfurt for the first time and googled this restaurant. They only offered outdoor seating for lunch which was perfect match with the sunny day. It was a full house except for a couple of tables without sun umbrellas. The business lunch menu was pretty simple and reasonably priced. The melon soup really pleasantly surprised me. I will surely come when I visit the city again.

In general, wonderful evening with amazing food. The service was also of quality. Will definitely come back! However, just two issues we had on the night: one of the servers forgot my cocktail and I had to reorder; and it was our 3rd anniversary and we did mention it when asked on the booking site, but nothing special was done. I think because the information was requested, a simple dessert plate with some writings would have made a great experience!

I was satisfied with the friendly service and cozy space. But I was embarrassed by the mixture of Asian and French food. I was embarrassed that the appetizer of Asian food turned into a dessert, and it was hard to eat wasabi because it was not real wasabi but instant wasabi. Of course i respect their interpretation. But I hope they study the meaning of the ingredients. And harmony is the most important virtue of Asian food. It's important to choose wine accordingly. I can understand this part because the interpretation of the taste of European and Asian food is different. Except for that, I was satisfied except for the fact that the tendons were chewed once.

Villa Merton is a very lovely place. We had a 7 course dinner including 2 recommendations from the chef. Every course was special on its own. You could clearly see the effort behind it and there were no culinary bounderies. Each dish was a combination of different cultures, and it was spot on. Furthermore, the taste surprisingly changed and it was enhanced by the excellent choices of wine. It was indeed a unique experience, truly worthy of the michelin star.

One of my favourite dining experiences ever and the kindest staff! We were lucky to get a seat in the hut and they have many cute seating arrangements in the restaurant with cozy, warm vibes. We got the platter and even though we came very close to kitchen closing were still greeted and serviced with cheerful service and the menu suggestion. The meal was delicious, fun to eat and filling for a really good price! Also tried out some drinks and the matcha green tea was awesome. Definitely recommend.

It was one of good african restaurants that I ever tried. The foods were so good. They also have vegetarian option for my boyfriend. But it was not spicy for my Asian tounge but my German boyfriend said that it was spicy. The price is also good. It is cheap compared to other African restaurants. The place also so crowded even in weekdays.

We went here without reservation and we could get table only outside. We were 4 people and we ordered two vegetarian plates as two friends only came for drinks. The food taste was very ok. The bread was very sour. But when the bill came they charged for four people because apparently they understood that 2 people will share one plate so they got us 2 big plates and charged for four. 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️. wouldn’t really recommend this in this price.

An unforgettable experience and an unconventional idea to spend a night together with friends. The staff is very friendly and makes a lot of genuine effort to explain the concept. And that was definitely important: there is a different way of eating the meal so the staff did their best to prepare us :) The food is a matter of taste I must admit. But we definitely liked the variety of flavors: sour, spicy, sweet, etc. I’d definitely recommend this place!

First of all, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Secondly, the whole atmosphere inside the restaurant is calming yet lively with thoughtful decorative pieces. We came with a reservation during off peak hours but were placed in a cramped space next to other guests while the entire restaurant seemed rather empty. Last but not least, the food was definitely worth the visit. We enjoyed the idea of sharing a big platter with different dishes. Some of the dishes are definitely spicy which suited our taste. The only downside is that the bread became sour the more we ate it. Overall, we had an amazing experience at Im Herzen Afrikas and we particularly recommend trying out Dohro and Zigni.

I’ve been to many Ethiopian restaurants and I have to disagree with most of the glowing reviews on here. The food is fine but nothing earth shattering. Beers are great though, particularly the Ethiopian triple craft beer.

This place is really unique peek to the culture and habits and makes you adapt in a good way. Service, food and space was great and you feel like you are more grounded after having been in there. Also, naturally almost the all selection is gluten free so you felt welcomed :) This cozy experience combined with tasty food really is worth trying!

This place has delicious food, super nice service and a really special atmosphere. The Hummus and the spicy chickpeas are a real treat. If you make a reservation for two, the little cozy table downstairs is something special.

The hummus starter was outstanding, the main dish was a little underwhelming and the sweet yogurt a little too sweet for my taste (all three dishes were vegan options which is great!). Great service. My friend took me here on a Thursday evening - with a reservation because it’s impossible to find a table without. And that’s for a good reason: the food was very good, the vibe was nice, and the service comes with a smile. We had a shared vegan platter, which came with 3 different curries and a delight set of well prepared vegetables. We ordered some African beers too. I recommend!!

Drinks were very refreshing. The food was flavorful and a fun experience, but not my favorite flavors. Never had Eritrean or Ethiopian before so we didn’t know what to expect. The banana cream dessert was super tasty though! The restaurant also had a fun, chill vibe with cool decorations and various seating areas. All the staff were super friendly. Their English was amazing and they were happy to speak it with us and several tables around us. They also did a great job explaining how their menu works and how to traditionally eat the food they serve.

Can not recommend. Food is very underwhelming and the service is not what you would expect from a Michelin star restaurant. You do not receive a menu with prices and are tricked into ordering all courses, despite it being way too much food for the average person.

One word: perfection!! We've been there on a Saturday in August. From the very beginning, being greeted with a superb Apéro at the bar, getting to know our host of the evening and a first introduction to the small bunch of other guests, over all those insanely well thought-out and precisely crafted courses, paired with fitting wines (only tasted on sip each) or alcohol-free but no less flavourful alternatives, to chef Ricky's (+ team) warm but professional way of guiding us through this exceptional experience.. thanks you all, and we'll be back.

We had a fantastic, wonderful culinary evening yesterday. We haven't experienced vegan food like this before. It is a new level. We are grateful for the experience and are eager to come back. We were exceptionally pampered, fully informed and sustainably inspired at Seven Swans.

We were received very nicely, charmingly served, super informed and fantastically fed. What a place!! Truly a hidden gem. We only had drinks and not food. The place has an underground ''private'' bar that has cellar vibes. You could play your own music order amazingly fresh and tasteful cocktails and get top notch service. Thumbs up to all the guys who work there and put together an amazing concept.

Truly original dining. An incredible space over 3 narrow floors, this inventive vegetarian restaurant is the best I've been to. The food was truly different from anything I've eaten and the whole approach to the dining experience was personal and distinct from anything I've experienced. I felt like I was in an episode of star trek in the very stylised dining room and the somewhat retro vibe. Inspiring and refreshing for any seasoned fine diner. A must visit.

We really enjoyed the food. But we expected much better dining experience given this is a fine dining restaurant and the a 1-Michelin-star rating. 1. First when we checked in downstairs at the bar, we were greeted by a host on the ground floor who took our coats. He then told us to take the elevator and told us which floor we were going. We stepped out of the elevator (white room) and into this very narrow hallway with two doors on either side. No one was there to greet us or guide us to the table. We were not sure if we were supposed to wait or be greeted by our server. We stood there for 2 minutes and decided to try our luck — we opened one door and realized it was the kitchen which we were promptly told to go to the other side. So we went to the other door which looked like was a dining room and we basically SAT ourselves at a table that we GUESSED was meant for us (there was only a table set for 4 people). We felt super awkward to having to seat ourselves...were we supposed to wait in the hallway or were we supposed to just seat ourselves? This is a fine dining restaurant, surely someone should come and acknowledge us? At the very least tell us where to go? If we had waited we would’ve probably needed to stand there for 5 minutes because it took another 5-8 minutes of us sitting at the table before we were greeted by our server. I certainly did not expect this at a fine dining restaurant. When the server finally arrived, she seemed hurried and disorganized. 2. The seating arrangement was strange - two of us faced the painting while the other two were facing each other on the long end. I did not understand why we could not have been placed on the other side as clearly there was room (even from your Google photos, you had a table for 4 on the left side of the dining room) It made conversations very hard and it was too dark to admire the food or take any sort of decent photos. Two of us were awkwardly staring at the painting by course 5 in between conversations. I did not feel the restaurant considered the guests when deciding on this seating plan. Or worse, it almost felt as if it was intentional to seat us away from the other tables because it’s highly unusual for a restaurant to purposely place two tables along one side of the wall for a party of 4. Have you ever seen a restaurant, let along a fine dining one at that, to offer this arrangement? 3. It was a bit stuffy/hot in the white room — apparently they misplaced the remote and so it was another 20 minutes before they were able to have some ventilation in the room. I felt if we were in the black room it would’ve been a much nicer dining experience. 4. The time between each course was super inconsistent. We waited at least 15-20 minutes from course 3-4 — felt the last couple of courses was quite rushed seeing it was almost 10pm. The creativity and skills behind the food was unquestionable. But if I were to rate the overall dining experience as a whole given the price/value and star-rating, I could not say this was a great experience or worth the value. At the very least, we should be greeted and made to feel welcome and unfortunately we did not feel that. And for 90Euros/pax this was certainly not what I was expecting.

Five stars, no doubt. Exclusively set atop a narrow house right at the Main river, with only six tables to sit, a marvelous experience of vegetarian cuisine. Really nice and competent service and very diverse and exciting wine pairing. Pricing is very fair given the overall experience. Offers a lot of small and nice surprises during the stay, I will not spoil here. Try and be delighted.

You have to compare a place with one supposed to be. Lohninger has a bit room for improvement, to make you feel really in a classy star restaurant. The crew are super polite and nice, but not fully professional. I found the appetizer the most delicious and fancy, the main course and dessert were acceptable. 4 is the fare rating.

@21/7/29. I can’t forget what I felt, when having lunch here at one of beautiful summer time. Taste, plating, staff’s kind service, even draft beer, everything was almost perfect. Only crazy car drivers near the restaurant made me a little annoyed, but you know actually it’s inevitable in this kind of center of big city.

The lunch meal they offered was 38 EUR per person. This included bread, appetizer, main meal and a dessert. We had a fantastic view onto the skyline. The service of the staff was excellent very competent and friendly. The food was served quickly. The dishes where very tasty. We especially like the dessert.

So, this place was referred by a lot of German colleagues. I visited this place with my boss who was visiting from the US. We were welcomed with a cherry shot. It had a good taste. I had ravioli for the starter and it was amazing. For the main course i had schnitzel. The best schnitzel i had so far. Schnitzel was served with salad and mashed potatoes. It is a bit pricey but the portion size was great. why 3 stars.. the lady serving us was a little rude and was questioning our choice of having a beer over wine (common it was summer). Also, she did not appreciate us sharing the appetizer. Scared from her I ordered a separate main course and ofcourse i couldn't finish it and she almost scolded me :p.

We were lucky to find a table without reservation on a rainy Tuesday evening. It is a nice restaurant with white tablecloths and four course menu's. All of the food we had tasted great, especially the linguine, Beef tataki and the carrot soup. The service was quick and nice, lots of smiles all around.

Holy cow, such a great restaurant! The food is unbelievably delicious and the service is exemplary. We got the prix fixe menu and not a single plate had any issues. It is a bit pricey, but worth it.

Fine dining in the main town Frankfurt centre , very easy to locate , Sandra help is a lots , very sense of humour and recommend us where to go for a day. Always checking we are fine. The foods also very nice , the starter must try the beef pic 1 and pastry pic 2. The set meal is good deal €25. Overall you won’t disappointed and have a happy memory on your trip at Frankfurt.

Went there on a Friday evening and the place was pretty full. Food was amazing! The best tuna steak I have ever tasted and the super fresh carpaccio. Steak was pretty good but the potatoes that came with it tasted a bit stale. What disappointed us was the drinks - we waited quite a bit for our cocktails and received a mediocre version of a London buck that looked very unappealing and an OK margarita. Staff was friendly, but seemed a bit overwhelmed with the crowd so we did not really receive the excellent service I was hoping for and what the other reviewers experienced.

Great Italian restaurant in urban Frankfurt. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I had a grilled fish salad and my only complaint was the disproportioned amount of ingredients. Other than that, the salad was fresh and tasty. Another star off because the place is vastly overpriced!

This is particularly a business lunch spot. The food is good, but not exceptional and not really on Michelin level. The service was overall friendly, but not very professional. On top of that, the setting was also not bad, but there were small things which noticed, for example there were some leafs on the table because it was located under a tree. For the relatively cheap price this is overall a solid lunch spot.

I had lunch at the restaurant and grabbed a seat by the window. The ambiance was fantastic. I ordered the set lunch with two main courses, but there may have been a misunderstanding with the waiter, as my friend and I were served two identical main dishes. The food was good (portions and presentation were good but the taste was just ok, nothing special), service was ok, but the atmosphere was terrible. One pays not only for the food when going to a Michelin Star restaurant (+€500). Very disappointed that the atmosphere looked more like a cheap pub than a restaurant. Quite noisy with diners who shouted and laughed so loudly that they prevented us at our table from talking. We told the service staff but they only offered us a table that was also very close to this noisy group. It's a shame that I couldn't enjoy my dinner and birthday celebration. In addition, the risotto was salty and the broccoli was quite oily. I won't go back to this restaurant and I don't think it really deserves a star. They are not quite there yet.

After Reading the reviews, one thing seemed to be clear. People either loved this place or were totally disappointed. To make long story short: we loved it. I was curious how Italian cuisine and Michelin star style would mix and now I have the answer. Our food was great, creative and very tasteful. I had the vegetarian menu and my friend the meat & fish menu. Both were excellent and on the same level when it comes to the love for detail and presentation. I have an assumption why some people wrote that the food tasted like "nothing" or "bland". I guess they were expecting the classic Italian food style with lots of pasta and a creamy tomato sauce. If you're looking for that, you're wrong here. But if you want a 6 or 7 course menu on a Michelin star level different from the usual French style cuisine and paired with excellent wine recommendations then you should definitely give Carmelo Greco a try. The tastes were manifold, sometimes more on the subtle side, but always a great and fitting blend. And you will leave the restaurant neither too full nor hungry and very satisfied. The waiters are extremely friendly, funny and even switched effortlessly to English for my American friend. If you are looking for a quiet (but not boring) place to have a great evening with excellent food that is a bit different than the usual star cuisine then this is the place to go.

We had a great dinner in the restaurant terrace overlooking the “woods” in this very attentive and quiet restaurant 12 minutes by car from the Frankfurt Airport. The reception and service was outstanding. The wine list short but well cured. As for the food, the starters where very good and the main course and the dessert where excellent! The weakest part of the menu was unfortunately the pasta, although well presented it lacked some flavor. Overall a magnificent experience, and will definitely be back!

There is McDonald's next to the restaurant and they "cook" better. We were 5 people expecting a nice dinner and received worse than junk food serving. Do not recommend it!!! This restaurant was not up to Michelin standards. Service obviously suffered from inexperienced staff. We had foie gras and my portion was not good at all (others were ok) - it was not prepared well and the texture was appalling. When I gave feedback the answer was very arrogant "it is supposed to be like that". This kind of answers belong to fast food restaurant, not to a Micheln starred one. Overall, the food was rather rudimentary and uninspiring. Dissappointment.

We went here for dinner and while the food was mostly ok, I feel they did overcharge quite a lot for the level of quality and service on offering here. It started with the cocktail as aperitif I ordered (mojito); I rather would have liked them to tell me they don’t have a bartender and propose me something else than to offer me a warm mix with few ice cubes in a G&T glass. That’s not ok in a ‘fine dining’ restaurant. Next The sommelier proposed me a glass of white wine which he let me taste first. It was very nice and I asked if I could ‘delay’ my glass up to the main course. Sure I got it with the main course. The bill however had 2 glasses on it. When I pointed that out to the waitress her answer was a dry ‘but you had another glass’, after an awkward silence she disappeared and made a new bill. Very artistic looking and rich in tastes. Wine pairing is really awesome and fit the food flavor. The staff were certainly professional and knew their dishes all way around. They kept servicing all the time where where their guest and it was wonderful. Very nice atmosphere as mine was actually in LaFleur in Copenhagen in Tivoli park. The prices are of course according to the quality and that’s understandable to be expensive. Transport wise in Copenhagen its in center of the city and near all kind public transportation.

Basic ingredients, nothing special, lackluster and incredibly salty. It took over 3 hours to get a 5 course meal. Lack of unique ingredients. Everything tasted the same. And we were sweating the entire time because they keep it like 80 degrees plus in the room.

In June 2023, the Michelin restaurant from Frankfurt visited Tivoli in Copenhagen. We enjoyed the 12 course vegan menu. I recommend a visit but be quick if you want to try it before it moves back to Frankfort

Great food, nice collection of wines with reasonable price, and perfect service. Definitely a place to re-visit while in Frankfurt. Btw, it would be good if they can shorten whole dining time to less than 3 hours.

Being from New York City one is exposed to the sublime international gastronomic cuisine. La Fleur, once hailed for its culinary prowess, left us underwhelmed with a gastronomic experience that barely surpassed mediocrity. Despite its lofty reputation, it failed to rise above the ordinary fine dining establishments scattered across New York City. Remarkably, the staff soared to Michelin-star standards with its impeccable service and professionalism. Yet the cuisine proved to be a letdown, lacking the creativity expected of a world-class restaurant. In many ways the cuisine remains in a time capsule 20 years in the past and perhaps more suited for the traditional palates of the seasoned souls.

It's the only two Michelin starred restaurant in Frankfurt and has been on my radar for a couple of years to try. Finally I was invited here by a customer and had a chance to experience it. Located in the old Palmengarten (royal greenhouse) in Frankfurt this is a cozy but small restaurant with a fabulous selection of wines. It seats about 25-30 guests max and offers a tasting menu of 5-7 courses. They also offer daily a 5-6 course Vegan tasting menu which is fabulous if you are vegetarian. It's near impossible to find classic French restaurants offer such an option almost anywhere as normal menu. Food is excellent and you can really tell the classic French flavours, tasty and not super rich. The balance is fabulous and the food was cooked to perfection. The service here is amazing and the sommelier was one of the best I have seen anywhere. Great knack for picking wines and he just chose them for us as we went along. Would come back here anytime. As a lover of French cuisine it's hard to find places that serve excellent food that is not too rich but packed with flavour. Highly recommended for its ambience and service standard.

The reason for not giving 5 stars are the atmosphere (it could have been more intimate), the plates (every course had the same white plates) and the prices. Charging €30 a glass for the aperitif is too much. Also the price ratio of the vegan menu in comparison to the meat/fish menu (including even waygu tartar) was wrong, the vegan menu only cost €16 less and we felt that the value did not match the prices when comparing the two menus. We had one degustation menu and one vegan menu, combined with wine pairing. Restaurant has very nice interior with discrete music , very polite and professional staff. My vegan menu was designed by Chef Krolik and it was best vegan menu I had so far. Our highlights were Schwarzwurzel mit Truffeijus and Vegetable pasta with Maronen , from other menu Jakobsmuschel and Halibut filet. Wine selection was good , but not as outstanding as food. Wines and champagne higher priced than other Michelin star places we visited.
