The Four Seasons Hotel Washington DC is lauded for its elegant atmosphere and luxurious ambiance, with travelers frequently commending the spacious and meticulously kept rooms. Guests appreciate the strategic location and the high level of service, citing staff professionalism and sincerity.
While some visitors mention that the value may be diminished by high prices and some outdated aspects, others feel the attention to detail justifies the cost. However, the gym receives mixed reviews despite overall praise for the hotel's amenities and spotless cleanliness.

Detailed Reviews
I live in the area and booked a room at the Four Seasons for our wedding weekend. They went above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience, upgrading us to a suite and setting up the room specifically for our bridal party to get ready. From being greeted at the door by name upon check in to personal room deliveries to anticipate my group's needs, our stay was beyond amazing and worth every penny.

If you are looking for a home away from home and spectacular customer service, then this is the place for you.
The rooms are large and immaculate with personal touches. The checkin process is fast and very efficient and the warm welcome starts the moment you arrive.
I was fortunate enough to communicate with Justine and she is really wonderful. She even arranged for an Easter gift to be placed in the room for my children along with my favorite shower steamers scented with lavender. She exceeded my expectations and is a joy to speak with!
Treat yourself and stay at this fabulous hotel in the heart of Georgetown. It is exceptional and the attention is in every detail.

Extremely outdated aesthetic for 900-2500/night. Much better amenities and interiors at the Conrad or Pendry for half the price. Really shameful to see creaky handles, hinges, and door security bars for that price point. The EDITION at Tampa, with a Michelin starred restaurant, was incredibly impressive as another five star hotel. And this 4 seasons felt like I was paying more for the privacy of keeping the plebs out than having an experience of being blown away by a gorgeous once in a lifetime experience.
Also, carpet at $900/night is wholly unacceptable. Heck the AC Hotel has engineered wood flooring for $150/night. Carpeted interiors are an immediate disqualifier for the monicker of “luxury”.
As for service, I appreciated a request that the front desk accommodated for me. But I wish the note left in was addressed to my name and not someone else. When I returned this to the front desk, they didn’t create a new note for me with my name, which was a bit disappointing. But not a deal breaker.
Lastly, the gym not having a squat/power rack and deadlift/olympic weightlifting platforms in 2024 make this a worthless amenity. Strength training is a CRITICAL part of health. And leg workouts driven by high/low bar back squats, and deadlifts are a critical part of that. Not having it at a 3-star hotel is understandable for insurance reasons. Not having this at a 5-star screams cheap.
I would not recommend this place for more than $200/night. A real let down and for those seeking finer details and willing to pay, the Rosewood, pendry, or Conrad would be where I’d point them at. Unless they are celebrities looking to avoid prying eyes with a steep price barrier to keep others out, this was an overpriced let down.

We were driving up the east coast to visit family during the pandemic and were very nervous where to safely stay. The Four Seasons was above & beyond with their safety measures, yet never lost any sense of the luxury service. I highly recommend staying here.

The Four Seasons Georgetown, Washington, DC, is one of the most customer-obsessed establishments I have frequented. All of our needs were catered to, our suite and connecting rooms were fantastic, the chef and serving staff could not have been topped, and they worked with me to the last detail and met and exceeded all of my expectations. Best celebration ever!

The Four Seasons is the perfect example of excellence in service and comfort. Anything we needed was promptly brought to our room. We really enjoyed the Lyric Pinot Noir Red wine. Staff was incredibly friendly and kind. A special gem in DC.

This is one of the best business hotels in the world. The location is perfect. It is on the edge of Georgetown but not in the midst of all the noise. It is minutes away from the principal office areas in Washington DC, the executive branch offices, and Capitol Hill. The rooms and the dining facilities are in perfect shape and very comfortable. All of the room amenities are thoughtful and exactly what a business traveler needs. The food is superb. The staff is knowledgeable, multilingual, and extremely helpful. I can’t imagine a better place to stay on business visits to Washington DC. Also, it is a great place to relax and enjoy. The fitness center and pool are first rate. It is right on the canal and so has jogging pths that are some of the best I find anywhere in the world.

From arrival to departure, the entire staff of the Four Seasons is committed to complete and total guest satisfaction. The suite(thank you, Eric) was lovely! The Concierge staff were kind and helpful. Room service exemplary. No detail too small. This was a birthday weekend getaway and we were surprised and delighted to find a lovely red velvet cake with the best cream icing ever, in the suite. WOW!! The courtyard is the perfect place to finish an evening, with a glass of wine. A tip: If you go to Seasons for breakfast / lunch, be sure to ask for MariCris. She is amazing!!

I was very impressed with all staff. You are treated very special and everyone goes out of their way to help you. The rooms are nice. Meeting rooms are great for large and small meetings. Only drawback is the refrigerators are filled with their products for sale so no room for your own drinks.

This hotel was great! Was in a great location. Service, accommodations, dining and the banquet staff were great! I would definitely return. The desk staff were right on in recommending a restaurant outside the hotel for dining with regards to my request.

Sorry not to keen on the suites.. I frequent the hotel lobby ie bar and restaurant.. fabulous!
Hello! The A/C worked very well but I did not test it to see if it could get that low.
I would call and ask to speak to a the Director of Housekeeping. They will be honest and responsive.
Enjoy your time in DC. We loved the Four Seasons!
